It's my 7 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

I can't believe it has been 7 years already. During this time I wrote my second fanfiction ever, made some fanart, discovered and got to know several amazing fandoms, became a huge fan of some new shows, movies and actors.

My personal life drastically changed. Lost only family I had, became independed, returned back to school after so many years, got to know some extraordinary people, rediscovered myself...

It has been quite a ride filled with the best and the hardest moments of my life. But I wouldn't change anything.

Hello everyone!

Its been a while since Ive been active on tumblr last time, actually several years. But I`ve had a very turbulent period in life. In 2019 my mom whom I lived with got very sick. And because I'm a person with physical disability and I need someone to help me with some of my daily activities, it was a very challenging time. I had to care for my mom, care for myself and actually figure out what to do with my life from now on.

During this time, I`ve met a couple wonderful people, who with no exaggeration saved my life, I worked really hard and slowly built my own life. I even got back to the school, which I couldn't finish back in my teens.

And why am I writing all of this here? It's because I would love to get back to creating things in different fandoms and posting them here or even elsewhere and I wanted to shed a little light on my long absence. For the last three and half years it was like I was living a new, totally different life. My living conditions improved a lot gradually, because they weren't good at all before, which I only later fully understood. But working so hard on creating my new life I totally cut off everything that was not essential for my survival. Only later I began adding different little things that made me happy. And I realized a couple of days ago that in order to be a whole again I have to come to the point where I join my old life and my new life together. Being a part of fandoms and being creative was bringing me immense joy and a sense of achievement back then and I would love to experience that again. So from now on I will try to find time in my sometimes busy schedule for regular posts.

I love you all and thank you for sticking with this blog even when it was not updated in ages.

There was a rerun today afternoon and I got to watch a whole movie, yay! I'm so happy. It was a very interesting movie with a lot of emotions. Amanda did a good job with her character and I liked all other characters too. Just wish I could see it in English too instead of dubbed, because I strongly percept audio too, and dubbed is not same as original.

Taken Back - Finding Haley (Official EPK)

The movie Taken Back: Finding Haley is currently on our TV, and I can`t watch it because where I live now, we don`t watch TV in evenings. I so wanted to see this movie, even a part of it, because of Amanda. Too bad. Life sucks sometimes  :(

It‘s DONE! 😱 My VERY first digital drawing!! Had you shown me this a week ago and told me I drew it, I would‘ve said you‘re nuts! I was not sure I could do it... This is Stargate drawing Nr. 11 and I am BEYOND proud! I so hope you like it! I was so insecure about this whole digital art stuff. I proved myself that I could do it. I‘m so happy! And I hope to do many new drawings like this!

Taken Back - Finding Haley (Official EPK)

“In 1984, when Ruth Coker Burks was 25 and a young mother living in Arkansas, she would often visit a hospital to care for a friend with cancer.

During one visit, Ruth noticed the nurses would draw straws, afraid to go into one room, its door sealed by a big red bag. She asked why and the nurses told her the patient had AIDS.

On a repeat visit, and seeing the big red bag on the door, Ruth decided to disregard the warnings and sneaked into the room.

In the bed was a skeletal young man, who told Ruth he wanted to see his mother before he died. She left the room and told the nurses, who said, "Honey, his mother’s not coming. He’s been here six weeks. Nobody’s coming!”

Ruth called his mother anyway, who refused to come visit her son, who she described as a "sinner" and already dead to her, and that she wouldn't even claim his body when he died.

“I went back in his room and when I walked in, he said, "Oh, momma. I knew you’d come", and then he lifted his hand. And what was I going to do? So I took his hand. I said, "I’m here, honey. I’m here”, Ruth later recounted.

Ruth pulled a chair to his bedside, talked to him

and held his hand until he died 13 hours later.

After finally finding a funeral home that would his body, and paying for the cremation out of her own savings, Ruth buried his ashes on her family's large plot.

After this first encounter, Ruth cared for other patients. She would take them to appointments, obtain medications, apply for assistance, and even kept supplies of AIDS medications on hand, as some pharmacies would not carry them.

Ruth’s work soon became well known in the city and she received financial assistance from gay bars, "They would twirl up a drag show on Saturday night and here'd come the money. That's how we'd buy medicine, that's how we'd pay rent. If it hadn't been for the drag queens, I don't know what we would have done", Ruth said.

Over the next 30 years, Ruth cared for over 1,000 people and buried more than 40 on her family's plot most of whom were gay men whose families would not claim their ashes.

Oh no it's killing me what was your OTP

Oh, I mean these cuties right here:

Colonel Jack O’Neill and (then) Major Samantha Carter of Stargate SG-1. 

Their chemisty was off the charts on day numero uno, and only deepened from there. Trouble is, the USAF was heavily involved in production, and as such they were (rightfully) adamant that Sam and Jack never get together, because they’re in the same chain of command and Jack is Sam’s boss.

What that means is that whatever we got between them was either subtext or context.

See that top gif ^^? Their memories were wiped and they were enslaved in an underground mining facility. They couldn’t remember that they weren’t supposed to be together. They regain their memories at the end of the episode.

And this one?

Groundhog day time loop. Jack waits until the last minute of his very last loop, hands in his resignation, and dips Carter into a kiss. It might look like some early aughts dubcon right there, but in context it’s the episode immediately following their off-the-record love confessions, and also Carter is clearly into it.

Not to mention…

Alternate Timeline! Sam never joined the military, and Jack never un-retired, which means they’re free to bone to their heart’s content in a desert a million lightyears from home.

And not even last, but certainly not least:

Good old-fashioned concussion hallucination!

This doesn’t even get into the *little* moments, such as:

- The hand touches in the briefing room (get a room guys)

- The Battle Couple Trope

- The “I thought Carter was dead but here she is” thigh touch

- The “I’mma borrow your sidearm for a sec”

- And the whatever the fuck THIS WAS:

And this is just barely scratching the surface. I know what you must be thinking: so much content! but NO. Over ten years of content, ten years of cute smiles and absolute trust, and speaking without words and no confirmation. 

Trust me– a few annual ship days in and the content runs out real fast, let me tell you. Whenever anyone accuses me of hating all hetero ships, I point them to this ship, as proof I like them when they’re done right. 

And by right apparently I mean 10 years of canon slow burn and no payoff.

Oh god this hurts. I love them so much.
