On the topic of TLQ body being like the construct- when he's really freaking out, he'll whisper over and over "I am alone in a place that is empty. It is quiet here." eventually turning to "You are alone in a place that is empty. It is quiet here." Because he's acting as though he's a different person than himself- and eventually he'll 'trap himself in his own head', so to speak.

His mind functions almost exactly like the construct while he's there- I'm unsure on whether the voices would be there or if they'd have their own bodies (postcanon scenario)- or maybe both? Like TLQ imagining the voices being there even when they aren't, like a dream. A refuge, so to speak.

Once he's in the 'construct' it takes a lot to get him out- its even difficult for him to wake himself up. Dying within his mind works but he doesn't like doing that because all the pain feels real- so going to sleep within it works sometimes. One other thing that he tries to do occasionally just yelling to the horizon "WAKE UP WAKE UP."

He tried once to rip the walls of the construct open when everything else failed. I'm sure the Apotheosis is more than enough explanation on how that went.

I love the hcs about Contrarian talking backward and his voice layering up when he's stressed so I'm adding another one:

His BODY layers up like that. If he's stressed enough, or dissociating, it gets increasingly hard to figure out how many limbs / heads / everything he has. If he's upset enough, it's impossible to understand him, up to dozens of individual voices talking at different pitches, volumes, speeds, and some are even backwards or otherwise distorted.

The others never really know what to do on the rare occasion it happens, unable to understand Contrarian, but even he doesn't know what would help. Parts of him want to be held and comforted, and other parts want to be left alone, and not a single part of himself can think clearly.

He always gets hot chocolate and and warm blankets afterwards

Something like "Heart. Lungs. Liver. Nerves." would still work outside of the construct because it is inside of the Long Quiets body, and therefore "Within the construct", I think.

More of a silly imagined scenario than a hc but still -

- The voices watch Kpop Demon Hunters and end up fighting for so long over which song is the best

- They eventually split into teams to do a gacha life esque singing battle about it

- Smitten and Broken on team Free

- Paranoid, Stubborn and Cheated on team How It's Done

- Hero, Skeptic and Opportunist on team Golden

- Hunted, Contrarian and Cold on team What It Sounds Like (Cold didn’t actually care either way but was bullied into joining to get a full trio of singers)

- However, they forgot to have any sort of referee or judge so the singing battle actually accomplishes nothing

Prisoner and Damsel are very close. Pris will find out what activities Damsel likes and propose to her to do them because she knows Damsel doesn't have the courage to do that herself. In return, Damsel helps Prisoner get in touch with her emotions (the progress is slow, but present nonetheless).
