There is perhaps nothing more painful than understanding how cyclical life is. How people and things once colorful and full of life can turn sour and dull, how every flower wilts, how nothing will be beautiful and timeless, how time keeps going and we go with it. Flesh turned to bone turned to dust. laughter turned to breath turned to air.

At least there is some respite, that no day is the same, that the night shakes its slumber to a new dawn. That political struggle today will one day become lessons in the history books. that the cruel men of today will fade into folly, becoming punchlines of jokes we tell our grand-children who will soon forget to laugh as they age into the shackles of an ever-changing, ever churning society of ideas, corruption, gain, truth and loss. And so it goes.
