THE POWER OF HABIT

Well.. hi,
Its been a really long time not open my tumbler, this time will write a conclusion from the book that i read yesterday
Titled "THE POWER OF HABIT", author Charles Duhigg.
My purpose from read this book is to knows how the habit works, and how can I change my bad habit.
This book explain about how the habit works?, why its becomes a habit?, how to create new habit and how to change the habit?
Have you ever felt very tired on your brain when you do something new in a new place? if you have, then it means your brain works really hard to absorb any information from the environment, from what we do, what we think about what we do, include the decision that we have made when we do it, then the brain will process it. This feeling will disappear after we do this activity repeatedly and continue, this is caused by brain has created a pattern from the activity that we have done repeatedly. Brain will save the pattern in basal ganglia as a habit, so when we meet the same events in future basal ganglia will take over the brain activity include the decision that we will take, this is will makes brain more relax due to less activity in our brain.

How habit works and why its become a habit?
Habit comes when the activity in our brain is taken over by basal ganglia, it happens when we found a cue to activate it, we have memory from this activity in repeatedly, routine and continue and we have reward from that activity. This Reward could be likes an emotional feeling such as happiness, love, etc, or it could be a thing like goods, foods, etc.. reward has a very important position in our brain, without our knowledge or command reward will configure the brain to know whether this pattern/habit should be save or not for future. 
example:
We all known why franchise restaurant has the same design for every restaurant in each cities. Aside from the identity it self, they want to make it as a cue for our brain. Lets say if I have a routine to eat in a franchise restaurant, the reward is a feel good when taste the foods. One day i go to the other cities and found the same franchise restaurant that i always eat, my brain will tells me to go to that restaurant for eat , this called cue to do routine and got reward.

The habit will comes when we see the cue, or when we want the reward.
How to create a new habit?
As we known before, reward has a very important position in our brain, without our knowledge or command reward will configure the brain to know whether this pattern/habit should be save or not for future. Brain activity will strongly increase when they got a good reward, this make brain configure automatically to save this pattern. Good reward will create a new routine and automatically brain will know the cue for this pattern. Even sometime we face the a distraction from any direction, our brain will anticipate it by remind the reward, and also good reward can make us addicted to the habit.
How to change the habit ?
we can not erase the habit, but we can change the routine.

From the picture above, we can see that both picture has the same cue and reward. the reward is to get relief, in the left picture we can see that to got relief he got drinks, and it could give him relief but it spend much money and dizzy. In the right picture we can see it has the same reward, but has different routine, the better thing from this routine is he should not have to spend much money to get relief. 
Success is born by good habit and commitment, and its not depends on someone else's life.
