So there I was thinking about how each new installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is (unfortunately) worse than the last (as I often do...probably more times than a person should).

And I says to myself...

Me: The problem with the Pirates movies is that they forgot they were Pirate movies (which is true, I'm making a good point there)

Then I say: They just focused way too much on the supernatural stuff (also true, another good point)

Me again: Yeah it's like if someone made a baseball movie where the whole movie is about ghosts

Took me a few seconds to realize I basically just described Field of Dreams, one of the best movies about baseball ever made

You can't make this stuff up.
