× Uptight and straight laced, Kuroko Kamenaga was always voted as supreme student since elementary school. Having upheld all these values from an early age, he finds solace in working as he ignores the frivolities of youth.

× Until his final year where he got bested by the eldest Saikou.

× Happy Early Retirement reading books didn't happen bc Prez came a-knocking after his presidential speech ended.

× He is under the implication that Megamo Saikou (Kamino Saikou) is infatuated with the new transfer student, Ayano Aishi, because of the orders he instilled to keep close eyes on her but to also keep distance. Reporting any behaviour or events pertaining to her.

× He finds himself familiarizing her daily routine and his eyes immediately latching onto her idle figure. Catching her habits and seeing her new connections.

× From Ayano's end, she originally sees Kamenaga as similar to her due to his serious and unexpresive expression. She finds herself gravitating to him, her eyes straying and finding him, lingering far too long.

× She notes she sees him often and at times she notices his eye unabashedly looking at her. The dilemma of an Aishi begins as she delves head first to her many questions.

× "Gasp! Does he like me perhaps? Do I like him?

× After marinating in these questions and stealing more glances at him, she decides to shoot her shot in the way she knows best bc of romcom novels/media/history. Courtship!

× An amalgamation of different cultures courtships from the more known, kinda basic modern tecnique ranging from different cultures to the old edo period Japan to Europe. Asking advice from both her family tree and perusing her amassed knowledge from media.

× It all began with the most basic of basics, leaving a letter in his shoe locker so they can meet someplace else. But no one anticipated, after having second thoughts for an entire half hour about the beginning tecnique to be used, the recipient seeing the sender having second thoughts about sending the letter.

[The Reverse Harem AU - The Family Headcanons]

In this convoluted Yansim Au, simply dubbed "The Reverse Harem AU" for simplicity's sake. This post is really just context for the story as a whole. All the changes I've implemented to fit a more reverse harem esque story without ultimately removing imo the interesting element that is Ayano's sickness.

AU Context:

An Aishi has a devote heart, and to stay alive, an Aishi must have a reason to make sense of her life. And that reason is to find their soul mate and become the very best romantic partner; to protect, to serve, to fight, and to love. That is how they stay sane and strive to live a perfect and normal life.

Ryoba dies after giving birth to Ayano.

Since Ayano was not taught she needed a reason to live, she merely drifted around and went along with the motions.

Till an amalgamation of moments between her and her pitiable father made Ayano inadvertently choose him as her reason to live.

Her reason being to make him proud and happy. To live as a normal girl and the perfect daughter.

Ayano being taught nothing about her condition relies on her paranoid father. And finds her reason being to fully devote herself to making her father proud and happy seeing that he was the only one to "love" her despite the underlying fear beneath his eyes.

Father Headcanons:

Name has been changed to Mamoru Tenshi. (Because I ain't about to change the name I've had for him for years just bc "canon" said so.)

A man born and raised with music, his chosen instrument being the violin. Additionally, he is capable of handle different instruments and has a lovely singing voice to boot.

His grandmother a geisha, his mother an opera singer, and his sister a rising idol. He; a renowned young violinist. So the Tenshi name was quite notorious in the entertainment industry for two reasons. For their rising stardom and their quiet, disappointing exit out.

Mamoru was the club leader of the music club, which tackles different genres and eras of the music industry.

Was quite popular and had multiple music schools vouching for his attention due to his known streak of winning in competitions.

Even had legitimate formal performance.

Had absolutely no interest in romance and wanted to focus on his future career.

Ironically enough, it is due to his family jesting that romance and marriage kills bloosoming careers. Ie. His mother exited her career to marry his father but in the end father left them, this has happened to almost every Tenshi.

Was inevitablely kidnapped by Ryoba one day and it all went down hill from there.

One day, he slowly started going quiet, losing his lustre and abandoning request performances before ultimately retiring from his position as club leader. Basically stopped talking to anyone.

Ryoba broke his violin in a fit of jealousy.

He married Ryoba soon after she graduated while he works at Saikou Corp.

The marriage didn’t last long since Ryoba died due to childbirth.

Has a hard time looking at Ayano's face for she looks like Ryoba.

Worries about Ayano's well being, if she'll end up like her mother as well as her bad work ethic.

Developed bad habits, smoking ruined his singing voice and drinks constantly at night. He cries himself to sleep.

Mother Headcanon:

The Aishi Family is well known for their charm and endless connections.

A traditional family, the head of the family, the eldest aishi, is often seen wearing a formal kimono or yukata at all times.

The Head of the Family, Grandmother Aishi is often seen with her attendant who is often mistaken for her husband. She laughs before telling them that her husband has been bedridden for years tho very well alive.

The flower that symbolizes their family is the Spider Lily. It isn't well know among other but they keep them as accessories.

Every single Aishi that has been born was a female with the same facial features that make them look eerily identical.

Every child has this eerie look that lacks that whimsy a typical child has, while the adults have this smile that rarely leaves their face.

As stated before the children are told the family secret in detail, they train them to become the perfect wife and partner befitting of their partner.

They were taught in varying areas of expertise from daily tasks like cooking and cleaning to fighting style and strategy and encouraged to make connections to easily find their love.

Ryoba Aishi was born as any other Aishi.

She portrayed herself as a happy go lucky girl with a kind and silly heart.

Ryoba was often found with the student council. Being close friends with the president.

However spent time with almost all students who would and wouldn't have her.

Her trial was completely orchestrated by her alone without much help of her family or those affiliated with her.

She lived the Aishi life until she met her untimely death.

The family often compares Ayano to her mother, despite her trying to distance herself from their image for her father.

Omg, I actually had the same headcanon for Ayano. Mostly every day life is acting for her, so she'll read a bunch of psychology books to better understand people and googles a bunch of stuff.

Her FBI agents wonders about her.

Headcanon # 1 - Kizano’s Act

Due to Kizano’s passion for the theater, he’s devoted hours into observing human facial expressions and body language. He’s subconsciously become a master at human psychology.

Not that he lets other people know that. He’s afraid that his obsession with perfecting his craft would make people think he’s weird and impact his reputation, so he hides his skill and it only comes off as natural talent to acting. Not even Info-kun knows how good he is, but if he did, he would classify Kizano as a major threat.

Agreed, throughout the film he had some level of humanity and understanding. Anger barbed his mind most of all.

I feel the reaction to that advice from the audience is very unanimous. People thought of it as bad advice, very bad advice to give to the kid who loses himself to his mind.

I still remember shaking my head and groaning at it.

Let's also remember Ismael is set to retire as well soon. Although, yeah, Ismael was super sweet to Michael and didn't deserve that brutal death, everything really falls into what Michael feels and thinks rather what we feel as the viewer. His mother is dead, his little sister is gone, trapped for 16 years and two of the people he spent years with is leaving him like the rest.

He attempts to find and connect with Laurie in an albeit terrible fashion, he understands that she is the only one he has left. He brought their mother's tomb stone rather than the older sister's he killed (I believe that is another one of differences from the og movie). In that one scene, he showcases vulnerability and humanity, he wants peace as a family again.

So everyone knows this scene, right?

And i've heard many times how heartless actually Michael is, that he just killed Ismael after he was there for him (the man on photo)

But.. I think there's more to it, that he actually kind of blames him..

Let me get into this.

When Michael got locked up, Ismael talked to him and gave him some "advice"

I: "You can't let those walls get you down, believe me i know, i spent a little time behind walls.. I know they can drive you crazy.. "You gotta look beyond the walls, learn to live inside your head, there are no walls that can stop you there.

M: *nods*

You can see lil man is thinking about it..

Well and after that everything went wrong. He started to wear masks, stopped talking, he really learned how to live inside of his head.

His mom committed suicide, he lost her.. the only person he loved and wouldn't hurt (he lost little boo aswell) And then we see the scene when Loomis told him, that this is their last day together basically that he's not gonna be there for him anymore. And let me tell you, i also think he hates Loomis because he "held" him there, and wouldn't let him out.. but he was also the only person that was (had to be) "with him" for 16 years.. that's a lot of time. And after he left, i think he started to hate him even more.

Well, back to why i am even writing this.

So Michael eventually killed everyone there, that's when Ismael came and you can see Michael was waiting what he's going to do..

I: "What are you doing out of your room Mikey?"

M: *angry look*

I: "Don't do nothing we're both gonna regret later, okay?"

M: *tilts head*

Then Ismael grabbed handcuffs and Michael tested him what he's gonna do, and Ismael tried to put handcuffs on him, that's why Michael got angry because he knew Ismael is just like others that wants him locked up, he never wanted good to him.. You can hear Michael growled after Ismael told him "I was good to you Mikey" He was furious, at himself that he thought Ismael is "different" but mostly about his lecture all those years ago, he took Ismael's advice and everyone left him because of that.

[How Do You Feel About "The Boy" Twist Reveal?]

I'm curious, I was actually spoiled the ending of the Boy so I was fully expecting and anticipating a wall man to come out the wall which caused me to actually watched it.

I remember wanting to see this when I was around 12 (I mostly watched pretty niche stuff back then bc of my teacher) but I never did.

So for those who did watch it, knowing and expecting absolutely nothing. How did you react when he burst out the mirror, a grown man and not a demon/ghost child? Bc I was just smiling thinking how cool he looks, admiring his cardigan.
