Y2k is very popular here in the US, with its original aesthetic leaning into futuristic cybercore aesthetics in the 1990s to early 2000s and its more recent boom having a more nostalgic air with pop culture.

But have you heard of Y3k?

Y3k is a trending style in Japan, consisting of the original Y2k cybercore aesthetic and idea of what fashion from the future would look like, specifically in the 3000s.

Y3ks color palette consists of light blues, greys, and whites, so Mizuiro has been quite popular with it.

A popular brand at the moment for Y3k is MINERAL

Their stuff is QUITE expensive, they are definitely a high-end line of fashion.

Another popular brand is Whinny, which I have mentioned here before.

Very excited to see where this trend will go and see if it makes it way to the west, with Y2ks popularity, I could see it doing very well here!
