Hehe we did amazing that night ☺️

Boyfriend and I finally had some time to sit down and play OW2 competitive. The ranking system is weird seeing as it consistently places us lower for our first ranking than we actually are (and that's not me bragging, I think it's a problem for everyone).

Tonight, we played while his rank was still silver and mine was low gold, and we matched with unreliable DPS players every single game. . . He was tank and I was support, and we carried 80% of our early matches.

Then, my BF got placed in gold. Suddenly, we won every single match we played! The DPS teammates we were now getting were solid if not better than us. We got so many team kills and stopped almost every match before or just after the first checkpoint. We stopped playing after winning 8 games, so I do wonder if our luck would have continued.

We had a ton of fun playing! Silver, for whatever reason, is filled with a lot of bad DPS and does a bad job of balancing teams. Gold, on the other hand, might be too low a ranking for us. I expect that as soon as we break into Platinum/high-Gold, we're going to start having trouble.
