GIVEAWAY: Pointe Shoes

hi everyone! so, i’m doing a giveaway! i was cleaning out my closet today and i found these. i used to order a few pairs of pointe shoes at a time because i have archy feet and would wear through them quickly, but i never ended up wearing these. i’m never going to wear them again, but it would break my heart to throw them away. is anyone out there my shoe twin? i will ship these anywhere in the world - i just want them to be put to use!

I argued with my parents and can't go to ballet today I hate it

re: Gelsey Kirkland academy audition thing. I don't recommend it. I went to the school for a year when I was 11 and I was in the most advanced level and it was with kids of all ages and it was weird. the studio company was full day but it was reallly not very good and everybody got super injured there. im now with the JKO School at ABT and i like it a lot more. but i know a lot of people love GKA!!! <33

Oh, thank you so much for the answer about GKA. I didn't audition tho but it was great having an opinion from someone who went there

Just twelve years after her first ballet class, Anastasia is making a splash in the dance world. Her “gorgeous line and polished technique” caught the attention of Los Angeles Times dance critic Lewis Segal, who also commented on her “serene partnership” with her husband Denis. Both now dance at the Mariinsky Theatre (Kirov Ballet), she as a First Soloist and he as a Principal.
