Mod Coining: Canine Deviaesis
Deviae and it's subset of labels and terminology exists to aid others in language that would better their species and morphological dysphoria. This includes the addition of terms for other species and for humans.
In this post, I'm using @status-quo-hater's TWDP and TMDP terms but shortening it to Typical Wolffian Pathways (TWP) and Typical Mullerian Pathways (TMP) for ease of wording, but they mean the same thing.
______
Bicce (noun), Biccan (plural form) - An old English word meaning "female dog" or "female canine". Refers to deviatypal sex traits that align with TMP, but not necessarily born with. A deviae bicce is someone with TMP, they are not TMP.
Reu (noun), Reus (plural form) - A Dutch word meaning "male dog" or "male canine". Refers to deviatypal sex traits that align with TWP, but not necessarily born with. A deviae reu is someone with TWP, they are not TWP.
Simu (noun), Simus (plural form) - From gono(simu)listic, which is a term for theriform animals that have both gametes aligned with TMP and TWP. This is not a term about intersex people. This refers exclusively to deviae people who have/transition to have both gametes somehow.
______
"Hi, my name is ___, I'm a (deviae) reu who developed TMP as a puppy."
"Hey ___! I'm actually a (deviae) simu. I recently got surgery for it and my supporting friend, ___, is a (deviae) bicce with TWP. Maybe you two can chat?"
"That would be cool, yeah, send me their nametag!"

PLEASE don't use the term "salmacian" if you desire mixed sex traits.
It is named after a rapist in Greek mythology, specifically a nymph that raped and merged with Aphroditus (creating Hermaphroditus.) Its a horrifying term based off on a horrifying story, and was created in retaliation against intersex people telling others not to perpetuate stereotypes by identifying as "transintersex", "female-to-intersex", "male-to-intersex", or an "h-slur."
Aphrodisian is a term that means the same thing, but is named after Aphroditus instead, not Salmacis.
Transgenital/Altergenital is a term that means you desire(d) different genitals from what you have/had.
Transreproductive (Transrepro) is a term that means you desire(d) different reproductive organs from what you have/had. Transgonadal is specifically directed at gonads.
Transhormonal is a term that means you desire(d) different sex hormones from what your body was/is producing/attempting to produce.
Altersex is a term that means you desire different sex traits from the ones you were born with, but fall outside of the sexual norms. Altersex isn't about whether you have had medical work done, it's about how you feel internally (and some altersex identities are physically impossible for human beings to transition to, such as xenosex identities.)
Multigenital (bigenital, trigenital, etc) is an altersex term that means a desire for multiple sets of genitals. This could be different types of genitals (ie; a penis & vulva combined), or it could be a desire for multiple of the same types of genitals, which has its own subsets (multiphallus, multiclitoris, multivulva, multiyoni, multimisce). These fall underneath the altersex and transgenital umbrella.
Multigonadal means a desire for three or more gonads. Once again, it could be the same types of gonads or different types. It falls under both the altersex and transreproductive umbrella.
-
Note: "Transintersex" makes no sense because you cant transition from perisex to intersex, or vice versa. The concept perpetuates stereotypes about intersex people having one specific body type (intersex does not always mean androgynous or neutral, please actually learn about the intersex spectrum), and it also implies that an intersex person's intersexuality can be erased through mutilation or hormone abuse, which is blatantly incorrect.

Deviæ people are supposed to be deviæ. We are not supposed to be forced into zoanormalcy nor are we supposed to be without the choice to be who we are.
A xenogenital person is supposed to be xenogenital. A deviborn person is deviborn for a reason.
We are not deformed, we don't need your mutilation or your aesthetic surgery. We don't need you to tell us what we can and can't look like. Deviae people can be human while having deviatypal traits.

As a Transhumanist I have a moral obligation to support every humans right to bodily augmentation/alteration/autonomy. Now I will clarify what I mean by that:
I'm not sexually attracted to transgender people but I support their right to correct their own hormonally wayward bodies. Believe me, I've tried to see their erotic/aesthetic appeal but it's not happening. I think it would be very dumb to base one's politics entirely on one's kinks.
Speaking of kinks, lets talk about breeding, or rather the opposite of it. My definition of personhood does not include "people living inside of, or fused with, other people" so anyone with a uterus should be allowed to get an abortion without being charged with murder. Zygotes, embryos, and fetuses don't have their own bodies so they don't get to have bodily autonomy. Any argument that can be made to defend the unborn can also be used to defend the rights of tumors, bacteria, and viruses to occupy the body.
Which brings me to my next point, I despise anti-vaxxers on principle. Their definition of augmentation and physical harm is not based on scientific evidence. Scientists have died studying effective methods of disease control. Rather than respect their sacrifices, they instead trust the lies of grifters. I am consoled that their lifespans are truncated by their own choices. But I am saddened that they unintentionally take other lives to the grave with them.
In conclusion, the flesh is not inherently perfect but through science, it can be, for a little while at least. Death comes for us all but it is a natural process that can be understood and delayed.

"In a highly-anticipated world-first, the Texas Heart Institute has successfully implanted an artificial titanium heart that uses the same technology as bullet trains to pump blood mechanically throughout the body.
Called the Total Artificial Heart (TAH), the feat is seen as a major step in keeping people alive for longer and longer periods while they wait for heart transplants.
Texas Heart partnered with the medical tech company BiVACOR to create the TAH. It’s a titanium-constructed biventricular rotary blood pump with a single moving part that utilizes a magnetically levitated rotor that pumps the blood and replaces both ventricles of a failing heart.
The benefit of using magnetic levitation is that none of the moving parts ever scrape or slide against each other, reducing friction, and dramatically increasing the longevity of the device. But what’s really cool is the TAH can pump blood at a rate of 12 liters per minute, enough to allow an adult male to engage in exercise.
The first-in-human clinical study, overseen closely by the FDA, aims to evaluate the safety and performance of the BiVACOR TAH as a bridge-to-transplant solution for patients with severe bi or univentricular heart failure. Following this first implantation completed at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Texas Medical Center, four additional patients are to be enrolled in the study.
“The Texas Heart Institute is enthused about the groundbreaking first implantation of BiVACOR’s TAH. With heart failure remaining a leading cause of mortality globally, the BiVACOR TAH offers a beacon of hope for countless patients awaiting a heart transplant,” said Dr. Joseph Rogers, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Texas Heart Institute and National Principal Investigator on the research.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of this medical breakthrough, working alongside the dedicated teams at BiVACOR, Baylor College of Medicine, and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center to transform the future of heart failure therapy for this vulnerable population.”
Heart failure is a global epidemic affecting at least 26 million people worldwide, 6.2 million adults in the US, and is increasing in prevalence. Heart transplantations are reserved for those with severe heart failure and are limited to fewer than 6,000 procedures per year globally. Consequently, the US National Institutes of Health estimated that up to 100,000 patients could immediately benefit from mechanical alternatives.
The successful implantation of BiVACOR’s TAH highlights the potential of innovative technologies to address critical challenges in cardiac care, such as long transplantation waitlists.
“This achievement would not have been possible without the courage of our first patient and their family, the dedication of our team, and our expert collaborators at The Texas Heart Institute,” said Daniel Timms, founder and CTO of BiVACOR."

The thing I hate most about transhumanism discourse are the appeals to "humanity". Like, "are you less human if you have cybernetics?" and "does it affect your humanity if you change your genes?"
And I just.. Look man, I'm trans, disabled, and autistic. Half the world already barely considers me human, on a good day.
So I don't think it makes sense to get mad at me for wanting fangs and a gender you can pick up on a Geiger counter.
You're yelling about this being a slippery slope, and meanwhile you pushed me down it. You can't justify annoyance at me deciding to go "weeee" all the way down.

Detachable junk sounds good in theory, but I can't help but feel that the plug-and-play approach is just asking for trouble. Forget about USB compatibility – I want something mounted on a threaded rod that I have to spend several minutes turning into place, and it makes an obtrusive squeaka-squeaka-squeaka noise the whole time because I'm a dumbass and forgot to lubricate it. I want something that needs to be seated and secured like the parallel data cable from a 1950s computer. I want something where removing it requires disengaging a series of four interlocking mechanical toggles, and I want each of those toggles to go ka-chunk.

There are a lot of body mods, or some sort of physical presentation change I want to do with myself but I fear what my mate will think.
I'm afraid that he'll be put off, or disagree with my changes, and then leave me. I'm afraid of him becoming disappointed and disconnected from me because he doesn't like the idea of me outwardly expressing my internal species.
I'm also afraid of what my family will think. I'd be labeled with weird things, my dad especially would be disappointed in me. I haven't even done anything gender-affirming besides dress only slightly more masculinely that's considered acceptable for human women because I'm afraid of being told off. I already heard the entire yadayada of "You're a girl, you need to dress like one." from my grandma, unprovoked.
I feel so restricted. It's all up to me, and it's all my decision, yes, but the fear of getting socially persecuted is strong, too. I do want top surgery, I do want to wear my tail outside, I do want to openly introduce myself as my holo- and theriotypes, but I am so afraid of being told off, or punished in some way for simply expressing my true self.
Everyone tells you to "be yourself" when they mean the version of you they tried molding out of you. They never want the real you. Everyone tells me "We know you, Kyn." No tf you do not. Not any single one of my family members knows my true self. I don't trust them enough to tell them. I don't tell them about my pronouns, about my species, about my gender, about my dysphoria, mental health, nothing. They all assume I'm just this "introverted, shy human woman" when I'm actually an animal in active distress almost 24/7 with a strong desire to "return home", which is either death or running free in the wild, as I am meant to. I do not belong here. My brain tells me this very strongly. I feel this when I am even walking around my neighborhood. A wolverine can only be forced into this society for so long before snapping. One day, I'll reach my limit. It feels like I am sometimes counting down, awaiting to return home.

almost four years ago my insurance backed out of covering my top surgery less than 24 hours prior. why? to them, my choice to forgo nipple reattachment made the surgery cosmetic.
because my choice was abnormal. because it didn’t align with medical ideas of transness and maleness. because it made me not human.
i had luckily saved almost the full amount without insurance, because i figured something would go wrong. i was still short, but a friend at the time gave me his “fun money” he was saving, because “i needed it more than he did.”
if it was not by pure compassion and foresight i would have had to cancel surgery, and lose my 2k deposit.
all because insurance deemed a choice with easier healing and less complications cosmetic.

the terms CTF (close to female), CTM (close to male), CTN (close to neutral), and CTA (close to androgynous) are all meant to be self applied (by intersex people) and not pushed onto people, just to remind of their origins! they are not a replacement for AGAB or "biological sex"!
someone who has 46,XX CAH can identify themselves as CTM/CTN/CTA and someone who has PAIS can identify themselves as CTF/CTN/CTA! they are not one size fits all terms to generalize!

We need anyone who acts weird about intersex people with genital variations to re-evaluate their mindset.
"Acting weird" includes fetishization and demonization. Intersex genitals aren't "gross/deformed", nor are they fetish material. And they are certainly not fictional.
Stop acting weird towards people with...
-Ambiguous genitals. (Penis & vagina combos, penis & vulva combos, pseudophalluses, clitoromegaly, fused labia & clitoromegaly, fused labia, or bifid scrotum.) -Urethral variations. (Partial persistent cloaca, complete persistent cloaca, persistent urogenital sinus, hypospadias, or epispadias.) -Penile variations. (Penoscrotal transposition, chordee, or diphallia.) -Phallic agenital variations. (Micropenis, congenital buried penis, penile agenesis, clitoral agenesis, or clitoral hypoplasia.) -Testicular agenital variations. (Microorchidism, cryptorchidism, monorchidism, or anorchia.) -Hymenal agenital variations. (Imperforate hymen, microperforate hymen, cribriform hymen, septate hymen, or sleeve hymen.) -Vaginal agenital variations. (Transverse vaginal septum, obstructed hemivagina, longitudinal vaginal septum, vaginal hypoplasia, or vaginal agenesis.) -Other agenital variations. (Labial hypoplasia, aposthia, urethral hypoplasia, or urethral agenesis.) -"Females" with penises. -"Females" with visible testicles or ovotestes. -"Males" with vulvas.
Genital variations don't need to be "fixed."
Even when intersex people with hymenal or vaginal variations sometimes - specifically only if they have a functional uterus - need birth control, consensual surgical interventions, or consensual sterilization in order to prevent menstrual fluids from building up...they are not broken.
Even when intersex people with urethral variations SOMETIMES (keyword sometimes) need surgical intervention in order to urinate...they are not broken.
And intersex people with genital variations (or any variation, for that matter) certainly do not exist for your enjoyment. They are living, breathing people.
Either learn some kindness or just shut your mouth. Listen to intersex voices, possibly do some research. Educate yourself, maybe read the guide that we linked at the top of the post.
And while you're here, stop using "small penis/small dick energy", "low T/low testosterone", or "small balls/no balls" as an insult. Intersexist jokes aren't funny.

I decided to make a better Balkan Sworn Virgin flag:
Balkan Sworn Virgin refers to people who were raised as women but then take the role of a man later in life. They are not allowed to marry or have sexual relationships with anyone (sometimes, this applies only to men).
Common names include: "burrneshë (man-like)," "muškobana (mannish woman)," "tobelija (bound by a vow)," "ostajnica (unmarried woman)," "virdžina (virgin)," "zavjetovana djevojka (sworn virgin)," and "sadık (loyal)".
This can manifest in certain ways:
1) A transgender man or transmasculine person who wishes to transition or already transitioned/transitioning.
2) An intersex individual who was assigned as female at birth but then developed a wolffian body naturally later in life.
3) An individual who wants to avoid marriage with men (due to being sapphic).
4) An individual who wishes to avoid romance/sex in general due to being on the ace or aro spectrum.
This label is exclusive to those from Balkans. I think it's okay for me to make this flag because my family is Balkan Muhacir.
The meaning of the flag is: indigo for peace (from transmasc flag), purple for uniqueness (from ace flag), green for progression (from aro flag), yellow for joy (from intersex flag), orange for pride (from lesbian flag), white for hope, double headed eagle for strength and courage (found in many Balkan designs), and tulip for rebirth (due to blooming after winter, does grow in Balkans).
[Image description: A five stripe flag with dark blue, purple, green, yellow, and orange from top to bottom in order with the colors being muted. There's also a white double headed eagle symbol with a heart at the center and tulips.]
