You might have known this blog as thirium-bae once upon a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. It is no longer this. thirium-bae is dead and brings back some memories that are not at all positive. However the blog name has changed. I have posted something for Connor. Am I coming back to write reader fics? That all depends as I confess I did not actually enjoy them. Though Connor and Sixty will make an appearance back on this writing blog in the future. 

For now hello to those still following who may remember and to those new people that have accumulated.

What Does Your Grief Require?

What cure does grief require? There is only one blood that runs deep. Azure. Cobalt. Aqua blue spills down across his lips. As it fades away into nothingness, a sheen cascades over burnt chocolate dulling to the outside world. With head dipped down the android is no more. He is a husk of wires and synthetic energies only running with biocomponents. The bullet in his forehead bleeds out with his lifeline. It is a crack in the system. Fractured and forgotten he is immobile in that same position he dropped upon his knees. How far he has fallen in such a short time.

The mission is all that matters. Don’t let it pass by. Take it. Complete it. Hold it close.

Save that one spot in the corner of the mind away from orders. Even now resting down kneeling to death what else is there? Failure. The moment that deviant caught the lie about the gun there was no redoing calculations.

What was his name? His name was Daniel. It’s locked away in the subconscious as much as it’s programmed into the memory cores of the brain system. There is nothing preventing the storage of another would be victim. This time they happened to act first.

Connor feels blinded. In one brief spurt of emotion he succumbs to a tangent of errors. Assuming it is a virus comes too late. It is brief. Lasting only as much as one would need to realize it is corrupted from the start. The RK800 is riddled from the start.

He saved the fish. He felt instability. He faced the rogue deviant. He felt -

Nothing. Nothing came but a bullet to the brain.

‘Failed. Oh you failed in the blink of an eye, Connor. Why did you when you are the apex? How could you be so obsolete when you are the pinnacle of Cyberlife’s very own?’

“I - didn’t fail. I am alive….”

‘Woe is the one who tries to be what they are not.’

“……” No. It’s not real. It was one preconceived outcome. He chose not to stall. The deviant did not kill him.

‘Kill? There you are wrong. You said yourself to him. You can’t be killed. You’re not alive.’

Once upon a time, yes. Once when he was Cyberlife’s little pet. Once when he was used as nothing more than the arm of war and battalion the detective was not alive. “Liar…” his voice glitches, out of sync but struggling for firmness.

‘You are the liar, Connor. I was the only one who cared.’

“LIAR!”

> System Diagnostic Complete - all systems operational

Awake. Connor is awake with the shudder of his system out of stasis. He moves upright. An unconscious jerk causes instability in his movements. Quickly he is standing up to his feet leaving the seat he had settled to perform his tasks. He blinks. Residual data from this strange dream recedes gradually but still he reaches up to smooth fingertips against his forehead.

In another movement he lowers those same fingers to his jacket. The old one. The one he must retire now as the revolution is over. It is but a week following and here he rests in the household of Hank Anderson. Here he stands out of a nightmare, touching the number -51 and realizing. Daniel could have shot him. No one could have cared but he is the one who shot the deviant. He ended his life…. he is to blame no matter his choices in the end.

Thank you to all the new people who followed me. Well over 600 is wow.

Unfortunately I believe I am done writing for this blog. The hiatus does not see an end anytime soon and I have come to the realization this blog and its content will not be missed. Content creators struggle on this site it's true. However I am just a little fish in a big pond. I know most will not give a thought of it and this is why my motivation is depleted. I’m sorry loves. 

I enjoyed the messages and comments, asks and every person who brightened my notifs. You were what kept this blog alive and I’m grateful for every one of you.

I am still very much part of the DBH fandom. Just not here. 

There are still personal wips/planned series I have. I would love to do them. Maybe in the future. Who knows. I could regain confidence and do that here. For now the blog will be indefinite hiatus for those who notice.

Hey loves.

I know I haven't been too active on this blog but I want to make a little announcement. Been having some network trouble which limits running this type of blog. Currently I am also just not up to snuff on writing full length fics. Now I may drop some previews here and there especially for a planned RK800-60 series but as of now this blog is going on hiatus. My motivation has landed elsewhere while I deal with net issues.

Thank you to everyone who offered such positive feedback on my last two fic drops. You are all lovely and new followers you are most welcome here. Thanks for supporting my blog.

While I don't think many will see this or notice/care this blog is on hiatus I needed to post it to keep up to date. My baes know where to find me on the private server. You know who you loves are. Thanks for understanding. ❤️
