MINDSET NEEDS CHANGE
Before I start my Blog after a long time let me offer my condolences to the Martyrs in Pahalgam attack, Victims in Bengaluru stampede and the people who died in unfortunate crash of Air India from Ahmedabad to London.2025 has been a disappointing year.
Long back in tumblr I had mentioned about three departments of cricket which are Batting, Bowling and Fielding and I also tried to explain their importance but I think it has not reached to anyone really. Hence I am back to explain about the most important yet most underprivileged part of the game cricket that is FIELDING.
I am not going to explain about fielding in the game but what I am trying to bring attention of everyone to the very fact that fielding is considered least important in the game of cricket specially in India. Be it any format or any tournament- at many times whenever I have seen the recent games of India against any team our Batting and Bowling strengths have been going good but the most crucial area where we are actually poor has been the fielding part. Let us not go so far let us view the previous match of ongoing series against England only. In the previous game we had put on a fighting total against england and everyone thought we will win it easily but we failed to win it because of our sloppy fielding and in the end the match went to england which could have been our match.
Not only this match lets go to the heartbreaking ODI World Cup 2023 finals India Vs Australia there also we lost because of poor fielding.
Whenever I see such matches in which India has performed poorly and specially due to our poor fielding, I have made two observations:
A) Mindset regarding fielding
Just remember when we were small and graduated only to the level of playing street cricket our main focus has been on batting and little bit of good bowling and fielding was a mere formality. We only gave 90% to batting and remaining 10% to bowling while fielding got zero respect. This has mostly happened in India. So in totality our Indian Mindset is a problem when it comes to fielding in cricket. Much of the population in India never considered fielding as important.
B) No Motivational Awards
Be it any tournament in any format of the game there have been awards for highest run scorers or somehow a good spell of bowling, but no one ever considered awarding great fielding in the game. A player earns some award by his batting or say bowling but there is no proper award for fielding hence there is no motivation to do good fielding and hence we never do good fielding because of lack of motivation to do good.
These are two of my personal observations regarding the problem.
Finally all I wish to conclude is that if we are giving over importance to Batting and bowling and continue to have the same laidback attitude towards fielding it is we who are going to suffer more heartbreaking defeats and always loose in crucial matches. Its the Mindset that needs the change not the game. Finally I hope if this blog by accident reaches authorities hope they can give the due to importance to the fielding part of cricket and motivate fielders to do well in the game of cricket.

Lacking Empathy
Hello Readers sorry for being away from blogging since a long time as I was busy in somethings and some commitments hence could not do much.
The Border-Gavaskar trophy ended and again our Indian team bit the dust against Australia. This also drew the curtains on Indian Cricket Team for their chances to qualify in finals of World Test Championship.
This loss has raised a lot of issues be it some player's performances to some fitness issues also. Many of our players are now are being hammered by the fans all over the globe. Meme business as increased and no player is being spared. All are being targeted.
I personally have not seen all the matches and used to follow on cricbuzz and some other sources like whatsapp group where my friends were updating with scores and all developments. But in my free time when I scrolled on Facebook and was opened to see so many comments on different posts and the sort of comments that I was reading were just very disturbing and somehow disgusting.
The first thing that came in my mind that "Are We as Indians lacking empathy?" The Answer to this If I am to give i would surely say Yes, We Lack empathy specially regarding India's matches or performances. Be it any loss 1996- Exit from finals to 2007 ODI WC early stage exit by India or even talk about the current BGT trophy. We only support our team when results are in our favor and one bad day we tend to write our Indian Team off forever. We also cross our limits trolling them and writing something bad about them and sometime burning effigies(which has not happened now).
I have noticed that when other teams be it any team when they loose to anyone else are still welcomed warmly by their country. No cries, trolls, No stoning houses or burning effigies but have never seen our Nation behaving well when our team looses. Disappointment is but natural and I do not blame anyone but think of this "How Our team must be feeling when they loose and worse after loosing what they have to face in their own Nation"? Not only this some tend to become masters of the game and start giving out advises like this particular person is not fit, other one is not good in this format or its captain's mistake.Suddenly our mind becomes active.
All i have said previously through in my earlier Facebook posts or say in some other blogs that if you celebrate our team's success please be a little considerate and support our team in bad phases too. But I know that its going to fall on deaf ears but still i hope one day we as Indians can make a Difference when it comes to being supportive to our Indian team Not Only in cricket but any sport or event. No matter what A game is a game and one wins other looses so no point in making a big fuss about it and a bitter truth will also be that "Nobody likes to end up on loosing side".

A Legendary Show
Before I compose my article, let us pray for Sir Ratan Tata who left us two days back and has left a big vacuum to be filled. A great Social Philanthropist as he was and will always be a Hero for our Country.
I have personally seen some reality shows but Kaun banega Crorepati abbreviated as KBC has always been my most favourite show. It was inspired by a UK show "Who wants to be a Millionaire?". The show was started in the year 2000 and at present has completed 16 seasons and is still viewed with the same charm. Such is a beauty of this show.
KBC had gone through lot of changes in almost many things or say many ways be it changes in format or be it changes in life lines also or be it their change in some rules or regulations but never did the show lost its beauty or its magic. Even today it is being viewed with same grace and enthusiasm.
Let us analyze further that what makes KBC the most valued show:
The Amazing Host
If we talk about KBC and not mention the show's legendary Host Shri Amitabh Bachchan sir, it would totally be unfair. From the very start till now Amitji has been the most succesful host of the show. infact I recollect that when Amitji had left the show for a year and Shahrukh Khan had taken the lead in place of Amitji the show had some dip in popularity and TRP ratings of the show had dropped somehow. It was quite evident that no other person can host this show better than Amitji. Well praises for Amitji is a long list and unending.
Format
Inspite of having gone some modifications of any sort, the format of the show was still simple and entertaining. The game starts with a fastest finger first and the winner who gets the answer in least time taken is selected for the game and has to face the host on a Hot Seat and answer questions based on General Knowledge. It is quite simple and nice. If you have knowledge you can win big prizes. Basically its all about knowledge and has nothing to do with anything else.
Everything is Knowledge
From watching this show KBC, even after so many years I noted that anything can be counted as Knowledge. Be it a TV Show or even a smallest thing like a dish and what ingredient goes in making the dish is a question which is added in the show. Nowadays many things that are new or unique are taken into consideration.
Something for Viewers
Earlier when this show was considerably new we would take pride sitting in front of TVS and guess the right answers showed on screen sometimes even before the chosen contestant It was an achievement. Lately or recently KBC had taken an initiative that those who are watching KBC show can Play Along and win prizes or can also make it to the hot seat and play in front of so many people. If the answer was right we would win and if it was wrong we would gain knowledge. In the current season and last year's season there was something for Audience also I mean the ones who are sitting in the game show. Partnering with Hyundai KBC launched "Desh ka Sawaal" which meant that any person from any part of India can ask a question to audience and they can win prizes after giving the right answer.
New Challenges
Previous point dealt with Viewers or say audience now this point deals with the playing contestant. In recent epsidoes there are challenges for playing contestants are also there. This year saw a remarkable change in pattern with the introduction of Super sawaal which means after the hurdle of 5th question for 10,000 Rupees the contestant has to play this super sawaal in which there is a question but no options are given only for that one question. if the answer is right contestants playing are granted with "Dugnastraa" which means from 6th question till 10th question which is second hurdle of amount 3,20,000 they can activate the dugnastraa and win a bonus if answer is right. Along with that if the contestant wins 3,20,000 in 10th question they are faced with "Super Sandook" which means 10 questions will come in 90 seconds and contestants have to answer them fast and if the win 50,000 or above they have an option to deposit money in their account or activate a life line which if they have used.
I guess these are some major reasons for which Kaun Banega Crorepati is going so famous. I hope that such reality shows continue to happen and it will increase our general knowledge and i also hope that in future it is hosted by none other than our Dearest superstar "Amitabh bachchanji"

UNDER ESTIMATED CINEMA
When we hear or think about Gujarat the first thing comes about is their food or say love for Garba dance and many such little things. But Gujarat is just not limited to all this one must explore their Magical Cinema.
Gujarati cinema started in 1932 and their first movie was Narsinh Mehta. Then many more movies came to be released. When Gujarati cinema started there were hardly say around 12 movies that were released . These all movies in the 1940s only focused on Dacoit stories or Mythology folktales. But Later they started declining and decline further increased in year 2000.There were not many Gujarati films that were released.
This was the history in a brief today at present Gujarati films have also changed in matters of story telling, direction, acting and many more parameters.
Now as my title says "Underestimated cinema" it is because when you search on google about a bollywood movie (Be it any), You have a full wikipedia page for the movie of your choice and it contains the full information be it story, cast, production, marketing and everything but when you search for a Gujarati film many of the results show Cast of the film, where have the movies been released and nothing much. There is no wikipedia page dedicated to any Gujarati film.
This is quite unfair as Gujarati movies have many hit movies and their stories are quite entertaining at least little better than the Non sense Bollywood movies show us.
Let me share with you the movies of Gujarat that i happened to see:
Dear Father(Paresh Rawal Starrer)
Hurry Om Hurry
Lagan special
Vanilla Ice Cream(Movie Name)
Maaru Mann Taaru Thayu
Builder Boys
Fakht Purusho Mate
These all movies I recollect I have seen till now.
When I saw these films my personal experience was quite good and I was somehow amazed that Gujarati Cinema has its own charm and beauty. The way they are directed keeping in mind what to show to audience. if it is romance, action or comedy it is clean.
Now a final Myth is that whether Dialogues in the film are understandable or no??
At times Subtitles can help in understanding but main thing is focus needed. If you carefully see the film there are some chances to understand what is happening in the film.I personally think a lot of times after watching a Gujarati movie that Are dialogues actually an hindrance in enjoying a regional cinema?? I really do not feel so because if you try to pay attention you can get 90% of the movie as to what is it about.
Hence I personally feel that Regional Cinema(be it any) should also be given equal amount of attention that we give to Bollywood and these cinema can be watched without any disturbances or any hindrances. Before ending I would like to thank Google for some important data and I would like to thank my wife Ashika Arora for showing me amazing Gujarati Movies and we hope to enjoy more.

HORRIBLE FUTURE AWAITS
In my blogging times this has happened for second time that I was planning for another topic but immediately had to write for something else.Anyways everyone is aware about the Kolkata Rape and Murder case of the Dr Moumita Debnath.
A little bit history of the RG Kar Medical College case, Moumita Debnath was raped and murdered on August 9,2024. This incident has caused a huge uproar everywhere and in whole India there are protests to hang and kill the Rapists. Yes the rapists should be killed and along with them even those people should be killed who are trying to rush up and hide facts.
Worse thing that is happening that media is branding this case similar to Nirbhaya in 2012(Delhi). Media should remember that this is not some film story, its a real rape and murder that too of a gruesome nature. They should so some sensitivity towards the family.
The horror of this incident did not end here. In 24 hours many more such rapes took place around the country. Even after so much debates, protests, aggression of common people and everything, did those people realize the impact? I guess no. Long back I had written on this topic also and the blog was named "Bad Example". I had mentioned in that article that the delay in justice only adds to courage of the criminals. If it had to change, this Kolkata case would never have happened.
Now speaking of Impact of this crime, be it any Rape case be it Moumitra or Nirbhaya or any case that has happened so far in our country is shaping a Horrible future for whole of India.
Many people are demanding strict laws against such crimes. But can anyone Imagine the effect it can have?? Even if lawmakers introduce some strict laws, will it be used wisely or some people will misuse laws for women? One has to think from all the sides that how a law will work. We have to safeguard the innocent people also from such laws being misused. Also due to some people's cruel act whole of males will suffer for no reason. There is a popular saying :Whether a culprit escapes the punishment of Law but an innocent should never suffer". All this what I am trying to point out is the horrible future our country can await if any sort of crime against women will not stop.
Several times people have been taught what should one do when you see any such thing happening near you. Also we have had enough lessons on how should one respect women and be sensitive towards them in all times. So I do not think I should repeat the same thing again and again. Regarding laws this is all up to the law makers as to what sort of Laws they will bring out and what sort of amendments will take place but hope whatever Laws they bring it should benefit all and no one should misuse the laws otherwise we are in for deep trouble in near future.

SHAMEFUL REDEVELOPMENT
Anyone as a student who studied Indian History must have studied about Jallianwala Bagh. The Massacre of Jallianwala Bagh is the darkest chapter in the Indian History and till today it sends shivers down the spine of anyone.
Those who may have not even heard about this tragic massacre or in case do not even know about Jallianwala Bagh here is a little History. It all started with the passing of Rowlatt Act on March 18,1919 which gave the British to arrest anyone without any reason and also to control National Upsurge. The Rowlatt Act came into effect in late March 1919. Many protests took place and also two famous leaders Dr Satyapal and Dr Kichlu were arrested for opposing. On 13th April 1919 a large group of common people assembled at Jallianwala Bagh to oppose this arrest of the leaders. It was Baisakhi festival also. The British got the wind of the information and surrounded the place and under orders of General Dyer the British opened fire on the crowd and killed so many people mercilessly hence this became the darkest chapter.
To the Present, As a child when I had visited Jallianwala Bagh and followed all inscriptions on the wall i could imagine the whole scene right in front of my eyes. Each and every nook and corner could yell out the pain and tragedy that happened so many years ago. Who can also forget the Martyr's Well? I forgot to mention that earlier that the people who were trying to save themselves jumped in the well and died of suffocation. To this day if you see that well you can imagine the horror.
When I last visited Amritsar in 2020 came to know that Jallianwala Bagh had been closed for Redevelopment. I hoped that it would be better but quite some years later when I saw on facebook the redevelopment even not fully, I came to know that they have made it very high tech and modern version and to be very honest this Redevelopment was not the expectation I Had. I came to know that entrance was remade with the martyrs shown standing and then inside everything has been made high tech for children so that they can understand the whole incident. There has been a light and sound show to explain the whole massacre. Light and sound show is still ok but changing the whole park and making it high tech specially for children is very shameful.
Let us remind ourselves the Jallianwala bagh is not some playful Park that was shamelessly remodeled for children to enjoy but It is a place to commemorate a tragedy that still haunts Indians till date. it would have actually been better if they would not have made such changes and spoil the monument which has a historic Importance or even they should have made minor changes so as not to hurt sentiments.
In the end I would like to state that Jallianwala Bagh stands as an important landmark in Indian History and each and every corner of that monument is filled with lives given in the process of fighting against British Government and blood of all those who died. Government should realise that such Monuments should be kept like they are in order to understand importance behind them.

BEGGING BUSINESS
Before I start this post, I express my gratitude and heartfelt and a BIG THANK YOU to my dearest friend and brother Tarun Rohra for sharing some vital information on the topic. I also Would like to express my thanks to Google for some important data.
Imagine yourself going somewhere and suddenly you approach a beggar and specially a deformed one. Maybe they do not have eyes or a body part is not in functional order. You see that beggar and feel sorry and give some money to the poor beggar and they go away. You might think that you did a great deed by giving some money. Here is the time that you are wrong and there is more than what meets the eye. Your amount of money does not really reach the beggar. In fact it goes to their leader who makes them beg. Sad but true. This begging problem specially in India has taken a shape of professional business.
There is a large syndicate that is operating in quite some parts of India. The ring leader kidnaps children and many times makes them handicapped in many ways and send them to beg and earn. Later when the children go to beg and whatever money they get goes to the ring leader and children get nothing. So the money you think has gone in the hands of a poor beggar has actually been wasted. This was also shown in Danny Boyle's award winning film The Slumdog Millionaire" starring Dev Patel, Irrfan Khan and many more.
At many times Begging is not just limited to money. Many times beggars ask for medicines also. For that they prepare bogus prescriptions and fake patient's name also. This something new I came to know that even for medicines beggars do all this and God knows that the might be doing with the Medicines. Does it reach the required patient?? I really have no clue about this.
Then there is one more scam in the begging business. If the beggars get something to eat like biscuits. After they get biscuits specially the brand new packed ones they give it to shop owners in exchange of money and then with that money they probably buy cheap drugs. Again money wasted indirectly. Above Medicine scam and this biscuit scam information was given to me by my friend Tarun as he has gone through this.
https://pib.gov.in/Pressreleaseshare.aspx?PRID=1781351
The Above link is a survey about the Begging problem in INDIA covering maximum states and Maharashtra is Ranked 27th in this survey.
Since in the start I raised the problems that how this business is going or proceeding. Now anyone who reads this might think that what is the solution to this. i can give an Idea on personal level as to how we can do our part that might just help. The first and the most important step to curb this Begging menace is do not give them a single penny from your side as the reason now is known to many. If any of them cry that they have not eaten for some days buy them some eatables and make them eat in front of your eyes so that you are assured that your money again is not gone in cheap drugs. In Anyway do not give them any amount of money.
In the above survey there were quite few mentions that how NGOS,Government and many bodies are coming ahead with schemes and plans to tackle the Begging problem. Many plans are being formulated for rehabilitation of children involved in begging. The governing authorities will do their work in rehabilitating the beggars but will this Menace of Begging ever get curbed or rather be done with. Will the people involved in this Begging Business ever understand that now their time to stop has come? It is a difficult situation. Even with all facilities or plans we make for them to do better, will they change in future and stop getting involved in this Begging Business.Only time will give the answer.

A Wrong Association
I was waiting for Valentines day to get over so that I could write this blog. But yes it took me quite long due to other commitments. Anyways here it is.
Valentines day is celebrated every year in february and this celebration takes place at many places or say nations. I had read about the history little bit but at present do not remember much but all I know it is celebration of love and happiness and in our country India and specially in Mumbai the craze for the Valentines day is over to a new level. One week before only the sensation and celebration begins say from 7th to 14th february. Restaurants, shopping malls and all florists earn big bucks by providing special packages and discounts on big brands are given.
That was about the way how valentines day is celebrated. Now as per the heading says "A Wrong Association" I wish to share what is wrong about the Valentines day. Whenever this day comes near a flood of memes and trolls and many cheap jokes are circulated on all types of social media. All the memes and trolls which are posted are forcefully associating Valentines Day with Sexual pleasures and I mean Sexual pleasures. This opens up a psychological aspect that Valentines Day is only and only about having sex between boy and girl. Sorry for being straight forward but this is how valentines day is portrayed on media. Let me share some things that I saw on social media. One page or account shows that youngsters are stating that on 14th feb children are making excuse of extra classes but whereas they are going to OYO hotels to celebrate Valentines Day(Although Sex was not mentioned but hint was there). One more post that floated a lot was in Hindi. It read like " Agar 14th tak koi Ladki nahi Mili to iska Matlab Valentines Day humare sanskriti mein Nahi Hai" translate in English " If till 14th I do not find a girl then it means Valentines Day is not in our culture". I mean it is quite silly to post such things. It speaks a lot about cheap mentality of the people be it youth or any matured adults.
So, to all those people and I mean people all I wish to say that Love is not only associated with sexual pleasures. There is no need to associate Love with sex. You can spread love in many other ways. Go to orphanages where small children need love or go to old age homes spread love there with old age couples whose own children may have sent them there to die. This idea specially should be given to those people who think that Valentines Day is to be celebrated between couples whether married or unmarried. Love sees no boundaries and love is eternal and never ending and most important if you love someone do it with a clear intention and specially without any expectation. If your love is true then you may get back but if it comes with conditions or some agreements so do not love anyone.
Finally all that I have tried to convey through this blogpost that the Association of Valentines Day specially with sex is a wrong idea and also I wish to say that I am not against Valentines Day in fact I also Celebrate Valentines Day but I do not do it with expectations. Spread love everywhere and keep people happy and celebrate love to the fullest.

TOTAL WASTE
Please Note-This blog is just a personal opinion based Blog and the statistic to be given is also a hypothetical one. If there is something that I may have not included in my post is unintentional.
Earlier times Shopping was quite interesting and at a particular departmental store or a local shop one would get approximately everything. Slowly many shops catering to different needs of consumers and their interests also popped up. By shopping I mean not only limited to groceries or household needs it can be everything or anything.
Then at upcoming times wholesale markets grew and gained some popularity due to the reasonable rates at which they provided some good stuff. Let us take an example of APMC Market Vashi. APMC's major role in encouraging farmers to sell their produces and stopped exploiting of farmers in anyway and also maintain fair trading practices. This is somehow first time anybody would have heard of Corporate social responsibility seen in markets.
After all the expansion of markets in all possible ways then later in 1999 the first Mall was opened in Delhi by Ansal Plaza and then crossroads and then seeing this many more malls started to open and a Mall Culture developed in India.
Slowly and steadily Malls started blossoming and housed many brands and with that provided some wholesome entertainment by including food courts, playing areas for children and many more things came into being and they are continuing which proves to be a boon.
This was history about malls. Now lets come to present and what is the scenario. At present I personally feel that these malls are somehow threat in matter of shopping at least. The big brands which are in malls and in any mall are a "TOTAL WASTE".
Let us take a hypothetical example of what I am trying to show. Let us take example of Infiniti Mall Malad. Now just Imagine that 3000 people visit the mall and out of them only 500 actually buy things from the mall. So they become Niche customers who come and buy. But what about those 2,500 people who have come and all that they do is window shopping and then go to food courts and chill. Its a loss and not a small Loss but averaging big loss. You can get the same thing outside at less rates like small scale shops then what is the use of having big brands in malls where large number of people actually avoid to do so.
This above hypothetical example with a statistic is just for an idea and explanation as to what I want to show. Otherwise the numbers of crowd going to mall is quite big and huge in numbers. Adding to this the example which I gave was given to me by a worker in a mall where I recently visited. Not mentioning Name of person and shop where he worked.
So Finally I am not blaming malls for anything but all I wished to write that If the shops specially the big branded ones want more people to come and purchase from them the shops need to take some serious steps in order to let more people buy from them otherwise all people will do is come to malls for entertainment purpose and window shop and the big brands will continue to suffer.

FORGET AND FOCUS
It has been one and half week since the most disappointing cricket world cup ending with Australia winning the cup for the 6th time. To be very honest in this post as I saw the finals I came to this conclusion that it was our fault meaning Indian team's fault.
If anyone apart from me had observed the whole match closely would also agree to this. First of all 241 runs is not a target one can give to a strong team like Australia. Atleast a 300 above target would qualify enough to defeat Australia. Second Bowling and fielding should have been strong enough like Australia showed when they bowled and fielded. It was all matter of Intent to win which Aussies showed and they won.
Anyways now what is gone is gone and It is a horrible past to put behind. No doubt India played superb throughout the tournament but finals what not their day.
Now here are two things to do: Forget and Focus.
FORGET
Forget that who contributed most or least
Forget which Indian Player did what or what he did not do.
Forget that Rohit Sharma displayed bad batting and went out early.
Also forget that in a big finals this player could have done more or better because its no use. Focus Ahead
Now the 2023 world cup has ended and we shall see it after four years and hope for the best. But there are so many events to looks forward like t20 world cup 2024 will come and many more series and tournaments to play and win. In all keep on playing and improving the team. But yes one thing Indian team needs to do is do a little less experimentation and do more of building a dedicated team which can play well in pressure situations as that is the main need of time.
I followed social media a lot and was actually happy to see an understanding fanhood who did not abuse anyone from the team nor did any violent action like burning effigies or breaking player's houses like it happened in 2007 when India suffered early exit.
With this I end this article and just hope that Indian team just focus and do well in future by playing good cricket and for them to do good we as Indian cricket fans should keep past behind and support our team so their morale is strong and they play well.

The 2002 Wound
External wounds can be healed with time with right medication but what about Internal wounds which sometmes or most of the times do not heal. The Internal wound I am till today suffering is very deep and cannot be forgotten. This wound was given by "That Cousin".
Let us go in background first. Among my family friends and their families there used to be a Vaishno Devi tour organised on last day of Diwali that is Bhaubeej. In 2001 When I went after a long time to Vaishno Devi in jammu since I was the only child from my family hence I was welcomed and treated with lot of affection. I was welcomed for game of cricket and other games. Often if i used to not come to play so some youngsters would come and encourage me to play with them. i was very happy that time the way I was treated by everyone in the group.
Come 2002, My hopes of going to Vaishno Devi were high because of previous year's great experience. I came to know that many of my cousins are also joining me and my hopes reached more high thinking that this coming year will be more of fun in Vaishno Devi Darshan. But I really did not expect what was in stored for me in this trip. As soon as the trip began It was just ok but later turned to be my worst Nightmare thanks to "that Cousin" of mine.
When we reached the hotel in katra Jammu I tasted the first unpleasant bite of discrimination. I was not allowed in the room of Youngsters and was told to stay away and stay in my room.
There are Many more things that happened which I will point out and elaborate.
Foul Cry of fever
This was the first night in Vaishno Devi and i was just having cold and cough and that too slight one but that cousin of mine turned it into fever by spreading rumours against me that I have fever and this was done to keep me out of their late night fun.
Banned From Cricket
The Next day when i had taken my medicines and was feeling much better and I proceeded towards the lawn to play cricket i was shocked to find out that I was forbidden from Playing cricket and it was initiated by "that Cousin " of mine. They taunted me saying "Cricket is a big people's game and you are small"Forget playing with them when I was playing secretly with my age group they took away the bat from my hands and threatened me not to play or rather even think of playing cricket.
Discrimination at the Abode of Mata
When we reached the temple of Vaishno Devi there also I faced discrimination by the elders. They told me to go back to the hotel while they stay at the Bhavan to have fun. When i requested them for me to stay with them they hurled abuses at me as they did not want me. Worse was even god did not help me so whats the point in praying to God who never supports bhakts.
Late night parties and outings
These youngsters used to do party at late night though not of hard drinks but whatever and hide it from me specially so that I do not get to join them. They used to play games which anyone can play and I really do not know why they never wanted to involve me specially. they also used to go to eat paan outside hiding from me.
Forced to sleep While back
This was was icing on the cake. Now I had a problem that I could not sleep at night once I slept in afternoons. i had told my aunt to request the youngsters to let me be awake and have fun with them but that did not have seemed to affect them. At night all the elders were having fun and whenever I tried to go to them and request they used to shout at me and forced me to sleep. However I slept weeping at 4 am i still remember.
All these above points which I mentioned where schemed and and planned by "That Cousin" of mine. I never knew and expected this behavior from that cousin of mine. Today also I am Married 35 years of age, can do a lot of things in my life but all these things till today affect me and have caused a deep resentment in my heart.
I do not care who feels bad and whatever happens but I hope that cousin of mine learns his lessons from past of putting me though due to which I have been troubled and he learns them the hard way.
Please note this blog will not be deleted irrespective of who feels bad or anything.

ARE WE READY?
Its 2023 and it is the year of ODI World cup which will commence on 5th of October. India has won 1983 and 2011 world cup and now we all are eyeing the third title. But after recent developments which have taken place like loosing to West Indies and lot of experimentation going on I really want to ask all cricket fans that "Are We Really Ready?"
I never felt that in my whole life being an Indian Cricket fan I would actually raise such a question. We as Indians would say this to satisfy our Ego "Yes we are ready" then "We want the third title" but in reality we are quite far from ready. The reasons are quite obvious and many people know these reasons.
Do not get me wrong I am as much as Indian cricket fan as many of us are and I too want Men In Blue to win this again but there are some problems that Our Team needs to look at and work upon.
The First problem would definitely be STOP EXPERIMENTATION. This has been a major problem since long and whenever We have fallen in this experimenting trap we have lost some easy matches and paid heavily for it. Sometimes A match winning player who played so many knocks is benched and an inexperienced player turns up and it does not work but we still stick to same formula.
Second Problem is LACK OF COLLECTIVE EFFORT.
The team is selected and preparations are done but when the players are on field there is over dependence on few players to carry the game on their shoulders and it is limited. Now for example if Suryakumar yadav is on field and he is playing well so now whole team depends on SKY to win the match single handedly which is not fair also. Other players forget that they are also a part of team and while on field it is their responsibility too in order to win. We have heard this too many times "Cricket is a TEAM GAME" so its all selected player's responsibility to give in.
The Third Problem is FAVOURITISM
This is an Age Old flawed System of BCCI and the selectors. Management needs to get rid off it in for betterment of our team in future. Players should be chosen on merit and capability rather than someone being related to some big personality and fine example is of KL Rahul. We all know why is he being given enough chances and he has hardly done anything about it. We need to select on basis of their performance and that's it.
Fourth Problem is Nervousness At Big Level.
I will start with example of Sanju Samson to make it simple. Now Sanju Samson has been most talked about player after his failure on big stages. Whatever chances he got on International Level he has miserably failed. It is pure nervousness. But it is not his fault many players get nervous and begin to make mistakes. What is important is to learn and make it big.
Final Problem is Role Recognition.
This has also been a big problem for our players as at times they tend to forget that they are to play an important role. Captain (Whosoever) must encourage players to recognize their importance and teach them whatever they are suppose to do on field. Sadly this ended with MS Dhoni's exit from world of International cricket.
These are some basic problems based on personal observations. I have viewed these problems and hence put them forward.
I listed down the problems but solution lies in BCCI'S hand. If only Management and coaching staff and last but not least players along with captain think about all this and take some initiative for the betterment of Indian team then we can see a better future Indian Team.
Finally there is one hope that if there is a positive environment in the team and all players trust themselves along with each other and play up to their potential then I think that we may be ready.

Two Parallel Trends
We all must have learnt a lot about Parallel lines in Maths classes. The two lines run together and yet never meet each other but are still simultaneously running. Do not worry my post is not about these concepts. My this post is about two trends on social media with special mention to Instagram and Facebook. There is honestly no big connection in between but there is one common thing and that is “STUPIDITY”
Well lets get down to the two trends that have and are still having most attention on social Media.
1. Animal Abuse for Likes
This particular trend is till now getting a lot of attention on Instagram. Basically  many Insta handles are posting pictures of Dogs who are suffering from some sort of physical problems like some are getting old, whereas some are suffering from blindness or any other problems. Stupidity is after posting the poor animal’s photo the people are writing things like “I know I am blind so I wont even get one like or share” or stuff like “Don’t you Love me? If you do please hit a like”..I tried to find a picture to serve you all as a proof but I could not but you readers can find it on Instagram.
If the particular dog is different from rest others people can help them but what is happening to gain likes the owners are using their problems as a tool to gain popularity. I am not against their problems and have some heart for them but what is happening is pure stupidity. Earlier this trend had taken place but Babies with ailments had taken place and it was a big trend. This is in a way Animal Abuse. One more thing is the people posting these things do is “Emotional blackmail” like they write “Only those do not have heart will scroll further”. This is icing on  the cake. Honestly speaking if the owners posting this have a heart do something for the animals rather than misusing their problems it will benefit the poor animal.
2. Sushant Singh Rajput Case
On 14th June 2020 three years back Sushant ended his life and sparked a big outcry. Bollywood changed and so did outlook of people changed. Nepotism debate took over all sorts of media be it Print, Television or Social Media. Everywhere there was one big trend which still continues- Justice For SSR. Surprisingly many big names were dragged in this case. I will not name them as I do not wish to land in legal trouble.
I am a Sushant Fan personally speaking so much that when MS Dhoni Untold Story re-released on 12th May 2023 I again went to watch it but this time for Sushant. Alright, although I am his fan and I too want justice for him but seeing the current trend I am sorry to say Justice will not happen. Just by putting his photos on whole media Do you all think it will work?  Here comes the stupidity. The Only Solution as I see is people must come collectively and actively Petition the Government and fast track this case. File a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) and put the culprits to justice. One more thing that can simultaneously be done is Boycott the movies in which Sushant’s haters are involved . Do Not give them any business and see patiently how everything falls in place hopefully.
So these were the two trends that were running parallel but together. The trends were totally different in nature but common thing was stupidity. I am not saying that it is wrong to get likes for something or justice is impossible but all I am trying to say there is a genuine and positive way to do things.

A Process To Follow
Please Note- This Blog is just based on personal opinion and some observation regarding the sport of cricket. There is no intention to harm anyone anyways.
It has been just few days the carnival of cricket -IPL has ended. This year’s IPL was a crazy one where many Nail Biting Encounters were witnessed.Apart from that this IPL gave many great players some recognition for their heroics like Rinku Singh from Kolkata Night Riders,Yashasvi Jaiswal from Rajasthan Royals,Akash Madhwal from Mumbai Indians etc.
The players who performed well gained a lot of fame and became a discussion topic specially in Social Media. During the whole IPL tournament which ever player performed well in his department like Bowling or Batting or even say fielding with special mention to the catches they took, made them famous.
While they were giving great performances there were talks of the players being potentially good and  fit for the upcoming worldcup in this year. I saw some posts that spoke about Yashasvi Jaiswal’s great performance against many teams scoring Big runs.
I agree  and respect the feelings of everyone wanting a particular player to perform in the big stage or say international level but in my opinion I feel is that whoever has played well in IPL  should be first sent to play Domestic cricket or First Class-cricket or some tournaments like Ranji Trophy or Duleep Trophy and then if they fare well in these tournaments then they can be selected for big stages by which I mean playing on international Levels.
Let us take an example of a student in school.  Now any student is first selected for primary school to get them well wersed with basics. Then that student progresses to higher grades or classes based on their academic performances and then they come to the stage of giving board exams. No student will directly go in to the highest grade just like that. It will be making a fool of themselves . The same goes with the game of cricket.
In the previous blog named “IPL-A Spoiler” I had posted an article from Google which showed the Big IPL Players who failed on international Level. It happens only when players are selected only based on their IPL Performances and not given exposure to start from the grind. One thing is a must to remember that Playing for IPL and Playing for country is a different game altogether.IPL  cannot be a single criteria for choosing players for big levels.
Hence I would like to conclude by saying that Let the players who played well in IPL to follow a particular process of playing on small levels and then if they are successful there then promote them to big stages like t20 world cup or ODI World Cup or test championship. I really hope this happens and then we shall see IPL Stars performing well in Big games.

TAX IMPORTANCE
The Tax system in our Nation has been since long. During School times i remember studying about Jaziya A religious tax imposed on Hindus for pilgrimage. But that tax was collected only to benefit some sections not all. This tax was laid by Emperor Qutb-ud-Din Aibak.
This was past history Now we are in 2oth century and things have changed. With ongoing changes even Tax system has gone through massive changes. Long back there were different taxes but now under Modi Government Goods and Service tax(GST) has been introduced. Sounds very beneficial as it has become only one big tax to pay. There might be smaller ones also.
How Many taxes were there earlier or are there now is not the topic of this blog post.My main objective to write is to educate everyone the importance of taxation in our country. Tax is government’s income for running of the country. Just like we earn and make money to run our families in the same way our Government needs income to run the Nation.
Recently a video I had seen on social media that in Restaurants it is not necessary to pay GST tax and if Restaurants are charging you tax then you can refuse them. But to be honest it is important to pay taxes and those who are spreading wrong information are running a parallel economy which will never benefit anyone but few. The Restaurants also have to pay GST tax which they have to show in Audit. Not only Restaurants many big business or service establishments have to show in the Audit the amount of Tax they Pay.
USE OF OUR MONEY
Generally after paying tax or anytime many of us wonder how does our paying tax benefit us or the government. The Answer is whatever development we are seeing like new highways or any sort of development. It is all done by our taxes. Not only development but the salaries of our Soldiers guarding the country or the police force working tirelessly their salaries are from our taxes. Often we have wondered how is all this development or anything possible??it is all due to our taxes we are able to see all this. Even if we do not see the development at least see that our taxes are helping the Defence Unit of this Nation. The Soldiers because of whom we sleep peacefully also need money to feed their families. So we can be proud that our Tax paying is contributing to the soldiers
RTI (Right to information Act)
If it is important to pay taxes for development of our country likewise it is important to know whether our Money which we are paying in forms of Taxes is used properly or no. Hence Right To information plays a vital role in getting information from Authorities about our Money and government has to answer it. We pay our taxes dutifully but many times it happens if government has not done their work accurately .
To check whether our money is used correctly Right to information Act plays a crucial role and it brings transparency.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scandals_in_India
It is quite true that sometimes our money has been misused and above is a list of scams or say scandals that have happened in our Nation. In 2008 post Attacks on Mumbai in November 26th 2008 when Kasab was caught. Most of our Money we paid to congress they used it for Kasab’s security and food. This created a big uproar and questioned credibility of Government that time. There was huge public outcry as to why a pest like Kasab is being fed on our tax money which was true. Hence Right to Information plays a pivotal Role.
So finally remember that in the end that it is our duty to pay Taxes and contribute to the growth of the Nation. If you do not pay the taxes think about the ways you are cheating the government and not only the government but imagine the Defence unit of the country and the soldiers who protect us. In case you feel you can not trust the government with your taxes Use Right to Information Act and bring Government on the front but do pay taxes.

BEWARE OF FRAUDS
Social media or emailing has  come with its own advantages in current times. Internet Users surf, connect , conduct their business activities and what not. However Use of Internet has come up with its biggest DIsadvantage- FRAUD.
Nowadays there are too many frauds happening online. One of the most common and simple of these frauds is -PHISHING. Well its simple. The hackers or fraudsters pose as Bank officials (Maybe Your bank)or as insurance agents and even lottery representatives and tempt the users with rewards and in return ask for personal details like CVV,OTP,A/C No etc. Many of the users who are smart enough know how to deal with these frauds. But new users do not know. Banks and insurance agents are also giving information on emails about PHISHING so the best thing is to do is to follow them.
But nowadays more dangerous type of FRAUD has cropped up. I do not know what name it is but this is how it works.
Hackers or Fraudsters hack facebook or instagram account of a friend or a relative and then ask their friends and relatives for some huge amount of money. The users think it is really their friend asking for money and they also promise to return the money and after the amount is transferred the hackers disappear never to come back.
What happens is that the user with whom such a fraud has happened does not receive his money back and cannot report to the police also. This is how such type of frauds gain more and more success.
WHAT TO DO??
A big question is what can one do best in order to avoid such a happening??Well it is simple.
If a friend or a relative approaches you and ask for money the first thing he will do is to ask on facebook messenger. He might give you a number saying it is linked to paytm or such digital wallet. Call your friend immediately and confirm whether he needs money really. If he says yes then the number he sent should match with your friend’s number. If not then in any case do not proceed. It is a fraud number. If your friend or relative claims he or she has been hacked then ask him or her to block their facebook or instagram account and also warn others that his or her account been hacked.
Well these are just basic things one needs to follow in order to avoid such frauds from happening. In any case of fraud also report to the police and that too their cyber crime department. Their experts will help you solve the problem.
This is all about dos and donts of Frauds. Now I would like to say that what collectively one can do to nab such fraudsters. These fraudsters on the rise are a big problem to the Nation indirectly. By such acts even Honest people conducting online Business get into trouble. People think that they are also fraudsters.
https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/tech/technology/over-95-of-firms-in-india-experienced-new-frauds-in-last-2-years-report/articleshow/95527522.cms
The Above link is a statistic of frauds reported in India via economic times. Well not a good sign and definitely a Hindrance in India’s Progress and development. If such frauds continue to happen then I fear personally it will not be good for Our Nation.
The only thing to remember is that these frauds need to stop and hackers or fraudsters need to be brought to justice.

IPL A SPOILER
Hello everyone
Its been very long since I have posted. My last post was on Diwali and after that i went off content for a very Long time. Now after following a lot of  happenings in the world of cricket  I found something to share with my followers.
Cricket had started as test match and that was the first format then came  One days, then to make it more challenging  came T20s.I have heard even Ten Overs cricket is there but its not gained much coverage. Well Anyway, It is interesting to note that how the game changed in a long period of time and how it will still be changing.
T20s also made its mark with many tournaments like Big Bash League,KFC T20 League,Indian Premier League(IPL),BPL,PSL and many more.
So let us talk about our own Country’s League the Most popular IPL which was started in 2008 and has continued to rule.Undoubtedly IPL is a biggest league and has the highest TRP ever. Its It is is even one of the most expensive leagues also. Well I can go on about IPL but we all know about it.
However with the so called unpleasant developments which have happened in Indian Cricket like Indian Team loosing few series,Asia Cup,T20 World CUp 2022,etc what I see is somehow linked to IPL. IPL has somehow corupted the form of our players.
I know its quite a big Allegation that too on IPL but here are some reasons behind it.
1.Crying fatigue
Now tmany players specially in Indian Team Play IPL with utmost dedication and sincerity but when it comes to playing International tournaments players show fatigue and injuries that time.
2. Failure in International stage
This  happened every year that few players in Indian Team were chosen onto play International matches from IPL but when it came to the big stage to perform they miserably failed.
https://cricfit.com/5-players-who-failed-in-t20is-but-made-it-big-in-the-ipl/
Here is the link which proves the point.
3. The Money Factor
Biggest possible reason behind failing on international level. IPL offers players huge sum of money and a better lifestyle. I am not aware on international matches how much players are earring but yes it maybe less and hence IPL becomes a spoilsport tempting players to make quick buck.
4.Betting and Fixng
Now IPL is such a big league so it has attracted evils of match fixing and betting.Who can forget Sreesanth’s story?? S.Sreesanth was caught in some scandal in 2013 and it destroyed his career forever.
There might be many reasons but I could think of these only. These poiints which I mentioned are somehow adequate that how IPL has been a spoiler.
IPL has given lot but it has equally taken a lot of things from the game of cricket.I know many people may not agree with this fact but IPL has been a spoiler. It has spoilt the fun of INDO-PAK Clashes on international Levels. Now I do not see much excitement when it comes to INDO-PAK Clashes in big events.
Hence I close down with the hope that in future if players who know that their form has been affected realize  it and pay serious attention to their form and whether you wish to play in big leagues play but also give equal chance to Playing for country rather than franchise beased cricket like the IPL.
