Hey, long time no see.

Well, I suppose I can give an update to the fic finally.

It’s definitely not dead.

Far from it actually.

In fact I can actually confidently say it’s almost done. There are only 2 more chapters, at the very least.

So in other news, things are going great. The only thing that I need to do other than wrap it all up is to go back and polish some things. But other than that, the finish line is definitely on the horizon!

Howdy, so

It’s been about a month since I said anything and I’m just gonna say

Yes the fic is still being worked on.

In my personal perspective, it’s halfway done. (All I gotta say is Silene)

But yeah, that’s all

I just wanted to confirm to everyone following this blog that the fic is still being worked on. I do feel bad that I left everyone in the dark about what’s gonna happen next, but I can assure you, I’m trying my best to make sure the wait is worth it.

I’m just about tempted to make drabble/one-shots for 12/21. 

I assure all of you I am working on the fic still. I’m up to chapter 7, and (spoilers) Akira had just become Devilman.

While I don’t know how many chapters the fic will have. I will say this, I do feel sorry for posting the first chapter and then leaving everyone in the dust. So I wanna do some one-shot fics to fill the silence.

Though, I ain’t got any ideas. Hopefully I’ll cook up a few things to keep you all satisfied with this AU~

Howdy once again from me.

Just a casual spoiler about the fic that miiiight turn a few people off. I kind of plan to cut a few noteworthy demon fights out of the fic. Namely Gelmer/Agwel, Lord Zennon, and Jinmen. It’s mostly out of pacing.

Though…….That doesn’t mean they’re gonna be outright nonexistent in this universe. If I were to do a sequel fic for 12/21, I do have plans to include them.

For now, I just wanna dedicate 12/21 for Akira being Devilman and getting used to that life. He is still a teenager thrown into a world that wants him dead that he can’t do anything besides fight back against.

Hey it’s your “favorite” writer comin’ at you with another update for this busy busy fic.

Well, one part update and other some other part me thinking out loud. So check out under the read more if you wanna know the “in the now” for this fic. Though spoiler alert, it might be more than a simple one-off fic.

One casual assurance that this is still being worked on. In fact, I’m up to about 4-5 chapters right about now. And Chapter 5 is seeming like the chapter where Akira finally becomes Devilman.

Now another update...I was saving this for the end of the fic but I’ll tell it now;

I’m planning on making this an entire universe that I personally dub the ACU (Yes, standing for Anime Cinematic Universe). There will be more characters from different animes that I’m thinking about giving their own fics, but I don’t know.

These characters include; 

Cutie Honey Mazinger Z Inuyasha Cyborg 009 Big O and Sailor Moon just to name a few. The Sailor Moon portion of it will be the heaviest one as it’ll basically tie into everything.

And the other thing, which is just casual thought from this guy...I’m honestly considering getting a proof-reader for my fics. As I tend to let my adrenaline pump to absurd levels and that could have issues with grammar and writing in general.

Hey it’s me.

First of all; apologies for the radio silence on this blog’s part. Don’t worry, I’m still working fairly diligently on Devilman 12/21 despite the quietness I had on it! In fact, Chapter 2 is just finishing up. Understandably, I want to work on the fic when my motivation is at a good level so that I can (hopefully) promise a good quality fic.

So yeah, that’s all I wanted to do. To assure everyone following this blog and the fic that it’s still happening. While it’s not a exactly one, I’m shooting for a May deadline. I say it’s not a deadline since well, if I end up going over that, I end up going over that. Thank you for your time.

Random question pertaining to the second chapter. Does anyone have any suggestions for names for bullies that could go to the same school Akira, Ryo, and Miki go?

I considered it being the bullies from the OVA, but...Since Devilman 12/21 takes place in America, I’d rather not have too many Japanese exchange students. Just for the trio to really feel isolated from everyone else.

So I’ve been thinking about doing small bite-sized chapters for Devilman 12/21 that serves two purposes;

World building and character interaction. Show what a day in life for the trio (Akira, Ryo, and Miki) is like.

Reason for this being that I want to spend time working on future chapters, but I don’t want to leave anyone who’s interested in this fic in a perpetual waiting cycle for new chapters for when I inevitably announce “all chapters are done”.

Would y’all be okay with that?

It certainly makes me look forward to making more chapters. And I’m still working pretty diligent on Chapter 2 and beyond.
