Good to see a far greater history nerd than I (and I am a huge history nerd) absolutely messing up a DM's plan. It's so much fun to do and I'm only a little sorry the history nerds ruin your carefully planned puzzle.

I have yet to see anyone talking about Wealwell's playing card moment in episode 2--and look, I know it was a bit, okay? But it's Dimension 20, where bits are virtually indistinguishable from serious canon, and the only two things Wealwell has done to affect the plot so far are:

Tell the successful lie that gets them access to the ship

Throw a playing card with such prodigious finesse that he explodes a steampunk plane.

I'm just saying I think it'd be so funny if he continues to be pathetic and wildly competent in equal measure.

This is also NOT a criticism. I LOVE Fia. She broke my gods damned heart in C2 of NADDPOD and I hope we see her again with another Eldermourne campaign someday, even if she's just an NPC. She deserves the best happy ending.

(I love ALL of Emily's PCs even the ones I didn't care for at the start of a campaign.)
