Ok hear me out:In that bad ending Yui acted just like Cordelia.She used Ruki as her pleasure device just like Cordelia did with Richter and Laito,while both of them were thinking about someone else when doing it with them.

//Now that I’m thinking about it,I’m pretty sure that was actually the purpose.

Ayato’s whole MB route is indirectly the relationship between Karlheinz and Cordelia.Yui was so desperate for Ayato’s love and attention that no one else other than him mattered.Ruki tried to temp her,using nice and romantic words yet she couldn’t fall for him because the one she loved was Ayato and that was set in stone. The same goes for Cordelia and Richter; no matter how hard Richter tried to earn her love,her mind was full of Karl,not him.

Even so,in his Good Ending ,Ayato tells Karlheinz that he pities him for not finding someone who to truly love,which proves that he’s different from him.Yui also stays loyal to Ayato and waits years in order for him to come back from that coma,illustrating that her love is genuine,therefore she deserves being considered special by him.These two scenes represent the switch from the reflection of Cordelia and Karl’s relationship to Ayato and Yui’s love story.

Can you do headcanons where you and Subaru live on your own after moving out of the mansion, like how you and him adjust to living in an apartment and stuff ?

　　❈  Subaru was a little hesitant at first to move into an apartment of all things. The suddenly smaller space made him a little claustrophobic compared to the mansion he was used to... but when you told him it came with a balcony where you could get fresh air, or grow flowers, he felt a little more at ease.

　　❈  He doesn’t mind if the apartment has big windows, but the only condition was that you at least bought so good curtains to be able to block out the sunlight whenever it got too much for his liking.

　　❈  He really, really wanted to bring along his coffin. It was a challenge even for the familiars to get up the stairs. It was also too big to big really anyway... but you ended up turning it into your coffee table. Subaru wasn’t a fan of this at all... but he slowly adjusted to sleeping in a bed over his coffin and hasn’t really turned back since. He actually enjoys being able to stretch out.

　　❈  I imagine Subaru would not be too big a fan of getting along with your neighbours. Many people probably think his s/o lives totally alone because he has a habit of sneaking in and out of the apartment complex.

　　❈  He is surprisingly open, though, to the idea of getting a pet now that you have your own independent living space. Maybe a cat or a small dog would work best for the two of you, in this new lifestyle.

　　❈  He really does enjoy getting away from the mansion, and his brothers... He feels really happy and in control now, being able to make his own food, clean up without being nagged about it, etc... Although occasionally he claims to have “forgotten” something just to go back and be in his old room again.
