Your eyes didn't deceive you, but maybe your lust took over.

On Halloween night, you thought that wandering around the local graveyard was a great way to honor the day, although you failed to understand why no one wanted to tag along this time. Alas, who cared, you, curious soul, attended anyway; and soon you noticed that the moon wasn't the only one shining. Someone called you, a voice lured you in— were you so lonely that you didn't listen to her telling you to run away?

But, wasn't she enchanting? Why would you run? Instead, you got closer, too close, and now she could now smell it— your bad intentions, your lust blurring your judgement. You, head over heels, approaching, couldn't notice how disgusted she was. Who do you think you are? Before you could wonder why, you started followed her firm, confident steps to the highest spot of the nearby church of the cemetery, right where the bell had announced midnight not too long ago. You'd be together, alone, surrounded by death, oh, how couldn't you notice? She never said no, but she never said yes. Was your delusion so strong?

The moonlight illuminated the two of you, but she shone even brighter. A pair of purple eyes caught your sight as another purple pair caught your throat— and suddenly her hair wasn't the only thing in red. Didn't you notice? The fangs beneath those plump, crimson lips? They warned you, you saw them, there was no spell involved, your eyes never deceived you... The wide grin on her face reminded you that this was not just a night for the living, but also for the undead. You, sinful soul, were at a loss, everyone was right, you shouldn't have gone there, alone.

Ah, look how you stained her gloves! But you smell delicious, bloody red droplets do nothing bad to her attire, and now that you scream so loudly she wants to give you a taste... worry not, she's no vampire, you won't become one of them. Instead you will become her snack, dinner and dessert, maybe join those who rest in peace over there.

Goodness, if only you had thought twice, or even once, the blood would still be inside your body, you would be able to tell your friends that they were right, you wouldn't be the only one losing tonight...

Seriously, why don't you do right?

at the time of writing my birthday is in 44-ish minutes so i did this shitty whinter comic(?) thing bc yeah he is very dear to me <3

even when you’re not around.

books were scattered across the floor, a once tidied up bedroom in complete shambles. bed coverings crumpled at its edge, pillows decorated with claw marks and scattered stuffing. the wood of his dresser and vanity were scratched to hell and back, in desperate need of replacements. The jewellery with which it once held littered across its surface.

and in the corner? a rather pathetic sight. hand covering his mouth, his unoccupied arm hugging across his own midsection. a grown man, who’d lived for more than his fair share of years, curled up into a ball and trembling as if he were a child.

his body ached— though whether it was good or bad, he didn’t have the mind to tell.

his eyes darted all across his living space, vision blackened at the sides. he couldn’t help but flinch— the feeling of hands touching at his shoulders, his face, everywhere making his eyes water beyond their capabilities. vampires weren’t made to cry, yet here he was; disgusting, if he had to say so.

it’d been a little while since he’d truly crumbled to the floor like this, and he couldn’t even pinpoint an exact reason for such a spiral. not that he felt as if it was needed. she was there, all the time. in the back of his mind, in the ghastly touches he felt at his back. it’s always only a matter of time before his house of cards comes tumbling down.

the palm covering his mouth tightened his grip, almost as if he was trying to suffocate himself with his own hand. clawed nails digging into his cheeks enough to pull pinpricks of blood from his skin. he hated this feeling; it was confusing, it was overwhelming; it was too much.

the brief touches of hands that aren’t there, and haven’t been there for some time. the quiet whisperings of that voice in his ear that always made his knees buckle, and his heart fold no matter how much his brain told him to protest.

phantom pains. even when she’s not around, he can’t just can’t get away.
