No offense to anyone from Unova, but he could always take an Alder Vacation, which is a term us champions use when we secretly leave on vacation for a while, and allow the Elite Four to use their own personal teams to prevent any challengers from winning.

It’s a rather annoying concept for challengers, but it helps when any member of the league desperately needs a few days off (or in Alder’s case, a few decades off)

Honestly, though, I think Steven prefers it that way. He doesn't like being recognized. It's why he usually doesn't wear his suit outside of work.
