Ivan Ilyn – Thinker, Patriot, Visionary

Because of his strong anti-communist views, Ilyin was thrice arrested by the Cheka, the Bolshevik secret police, in the year 1918 alone. [The October (Bolshevik) Revolution began on 7 November 1917 (O.S. 25 October).] Miraculously, his life was spared.

In May 1918, between arrests, he even managed to defend his dissertation titled ‘Hegel’s philosophy as a doctrine of the concreteness of God and man’.

In 1922, Ilyin was arrested once again. Along with 160 other renowned intellectuals, Ilyin was exiled from the country on the so-called ‘philosophical steamer’.

This forced emigration allowed him to avoid further persecution in the USSR. Ilyin settled in Berlin.

Spanish athlete Iván Fernández Anaya was competing in a cross-country race in Burlada, Navarre. He was running second, some distance behind race leader Abel Mutai - bronze medalist in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the London Olympics. As they entered the finishing straight, he saw the Kenyan runner - the certain winner of the race - mistakenly pull up about 10 meters before the finish, thinking he had already crossed the line. Fernández Anaya quickly caught up with him, but instead of exploiting Mutai's mistake to speed past and claim an unlikely victory, he stayed behind and, using gestures, guided the Kenyan to the line and let him cross first.

Winners don't exploit situations, don't go for the cheap shot. They raise people up.

Some strategy initiatives avidly supported by the gringo realpolitik neocons, the entrenched deep-state bureaucrats, certain moneyed domestic oligarchs, the secret intelligence apparatus, the coerced military and a powerful cabal of foreign aggressors lead me to conclude that the belligerent policies implemented by your and previous administrations since 2001 would result in a global nuclear conflagration of epic proportions in the proximate future.

In the course of the last few years it has become clear that the collective West, which you now direct, is intent on threatening Russia and China with the risk of facing up to a thermonuclear confrontation unless they agree to become servile to America and obedient to a rules-based order the US arbitrarily alleges exists, an "order" neither nation was a party to define, approve or establish.

I must remind you that both Russia and China are also nuclear superpowers who possess more advanced weapon delivery systems than those of the West. A war with them will inevitably result in the complete destruction of the US, Canada and Western Europe. On the other hand, both Russia and China are likely to survive such a war to some extent. It is madness to pursue a policy that would result in one's annihilation.

There is no valid reason to adopt this absurd posture of being world hegemon that the West copies from the surprisingly irrational Ancient Greeks. Both principal actors of that era, Sparta and Athens, collapsed because of their truculence, even though Sparta was the military victor. Recall that the Peloponnesian war resulted in the utter devastation of Greece.

I would advise you to correct your nation's policies to something that would leave your countrymen, women and children with a viable future of some sort.

Daily Telegraph used in an article the image of the woman, who is holding a puppy while the emblem of one of the Waffen-SS divisions can be seen on her uniform.

Daily Telegraph published a photo of a Ukrainian military psychologist wearing a patch with Nazi symbols on her uniform.

In one of the articles, the newspaper chose several photos that were supposed to illustrate life in Ukraine. Among others, they published the image of the woman, who is called Vita, holding a puppy while she is in a fortification.

However, an insignia of the Totenkopf unit can be seen on the military psychologist's uniform.

This symbol, represented by a skull and crossbones, was the emblem of one of the Waffen-SS divisions, as well as the SS organization responsible for the administration of Nazi concentration camps.
