Israel has killed over 45 people in a series of attacks across the Gaza Strip since Sunday morning, half of whom were killed while waiting for aid at US-Israeli distribution points.

Gaza's civil defence agency reported that at least 23 Palestinians were killed near distribution points and trucks, including near the Netzarim corridor, central Gaza; in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip; and near an aid truck entry route in the Sudanese area, northwest of Gaza.

Al-Awda hospital in central Gaza received eight bodies and 125 wounded after Israeli drone strikes targeted people gathering near an aid distribution centre near the Netzarim corridor, Mohammad al-Mughayyir, an official from the agency, told AFP.

In late May, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced he would allow a limited amount of aid into Gaza and turned over distribution efforts to the US-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

United Nations experts have said the plan aligns with Israel’s goal of the forced displacement of Palestinians as well as shrinking, if not eradicating, the UN’s role in Gaza.

GHF, unlike the UN-run system it was designed to replace, coordinates its operations closely with the Israeli government.

Since its operations began, at least 300 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds more wounded while seeking food at distribution sites, which are guarded by US private military contractors and overseen by Israeli forces

In a remote area, U.S. forces drop aid boxes 📦 far from the people, with no mercy, no order, no dignity. People start gathering at 10 PM 🌙, but they are not allowed to approach until 2 AM 🕑—when the gate opens. Anyone who comes close before that time is shot dead ☠️.

And when the gate opens... the race begins 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

Men, women, and children run long distances in the dark 🖤🌪️, just to reach the boxes first. Those who arrive early may collect a good amount 🥫, while those who come late find only crumbs 🍞.

They are given just **30 minutes ⏳** to grab what they can and leave immediately.

This is how hunger is managed here... This is not aid—it’s **daily humiliation** 😔 A scene that feels just like *Squid Game* 🎮—where only the fastest survive, and a wrong step means death ⚠️.

**This is how Palestinians are forced to live...** In their besieged homeland 🕊️, they run for food as if running for life 💔 No dignity, no justice... only a cruel game controlled by those in power 🧊, forcing the innocent to run—or die 💢

Israel's Necessity For Constant Wars

Israel cannot survive without creating never-ending enemies through never-ending wars.

Social media users from around the globe are paying tribute this week to journalist and activist Mousa Qous, a long-time prominent figure in Jerusalem’s Afro-Palestinian community.

Mousa was the executive director of the African Community Society in the Old City of Jerusalem. Much of his life was dedicated to the Palestinian cause and highlighting the often-overlooked experience of Afro-Palestinians.

He passed due to a fire in his home on 9 February and is survived by his wife Joharah and his children, Mohammad and Shaden. An article he wrote for Skin Deep Magazine has been heavily circulated since the news of his passing, in which he wrote about the history and nuanced experience of Afro-Palestinians.

“It is a very specific experience, existing both as an overlooked part of a city’s history and as a persecuted community within a persecuted community,” he wrote. In it, he also interviewed his daughter, 22-year-old Birzeit law student Shaden, who is also very active in the community.

“Israeli forces do not treat the Afro-Palestinian community with humanity,” she said.

“[They] refer to us with the term Koshi [Hebrew for ‘Negro’], while the local Palestinian community calls me Samra [Arabic for ‘Dark woman’]. I am always reminded of my colour and that I am different.”

Shaden, who is also an American citizen, has been very vocal about the Palestinian cause despite Israel’s continuous crackdown on pro-Palestine content online. Israel arrested her on 6 January on charges of “incitement” for social media posts, delaying her release until 10 February – just mere hours after her father’s burial was completed.

There were also reports that Israeli forces stormed the Qous household while many were gathered in mourning, and detained Mousa’s brother, Nasser, the head of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club.
