um no @ that anon shipping selena with harry. like yeah taylor moved on and all that but we all know she wrote a whole ass album about harry and i just feel like that would be like taylor dating bieber. like nope. like i feel bad for whoever ships harlena cause girl its mad weird shipping ur fave with her best friend's ex. like this isnt joe jonas, someone taylor dated when she a teenager and all, that, clearly she didnt care about gigi dating him. or taylor lautner, a young fling. like 1/2

I kinda want Harry and Selena to either date, be friends, do a collaboration or star in a movie together. Like I’ve shipped Harlena hard for so long and nothing besides him saying that he loves Bad Liar & him wearing a Selena Gomez and the scene t shirt at his concert. I mean, I know it will probably never happen because of her friendship with Taylor and her respecting her, but I doubt Taylor would oppose. They both dated Taylor Lautner so idk. Just a thought.

I don't really think Taylor would stand in the way. She's happier than ever with Joe and it feels like she's moved on from all the boys in her past.

Personally, I'm stoll rooting for Dylena to happen (Selena x Dylan O'Brien) because he's basically me:

I wonder if we will ever know the truth about it all. Maybe it was Justin who really preferred Hailey over Selena as a wife and is happy about it. Anyway, great story.

We'll probably never know the full truth but I really do wish them all happiness in their lives. Everyone deserved to feel like they've found their place in this world.

+ and even when he was with Baskin, the articles still claimed he wanted to get back with Selena, meaning he too didn't think he and Selena were over. "he is still trying to get back with Selena Gomez. "Justin has been upset about the recent break from Selena and is trying to keep busy until they work things out," a source told E!. "He has definitely been liking [Champion's] company, but to say they are dating is a huge stretch. Justin isn't trying to be serious with anyone but Selena." +

+    My point is: I don't believe he was the one who chose to take a break/end the rs, otherwise she wouldn't have posted the happy birthday post. To me that post means she was fine with him, had no resentment and according to articles, their break was supposed to be temporary. Then he started going out with Baskin and she probably ended things for good. She just didn't expect him to get married to someone else after 2 months.    

+    I can't understand why anyone who planned to have a stable relationship couldn't wait and be faithful for just a month, just to respect her time. He wasn't and still planned to get back together with her, which is insane. I honestly believe he did want to get married and his friends pushed him to do it with Hailey, specially because of how much in the beginning his friends were always involved with their meetings. Not to mention Hailey's post on Scooter's IG, asking for a husband.    

+     By the way, I don't intend to excuse Justin from his obvious mistakes with Selena. However, it really seems like during their break, he was heavily influenced by his friends/family to go back to Hailey. In mid May was when he commented on her IG and later she posted that comment asking for a husband on Scooter's IG. Regardless, he was weak. He should have waited for Selena or simply respected her time. Instead he was influenced by his friends and ended up with a stalker.

Ok here’s what I think: I don’t know how much we can believe these “sources” but I think especially the lyric: “In two months you replaced us like it was easy” makes me agree with many things you said. I don’t know if they were on a break or whatever was going on  I’m mainly thinking about Hailey and their marriage when i hear it because let’s be real, Baskin was a fling which was just childish and boyish but I don’t think it hurt her like he just marrying someone when he was with her like 20seconds ago. 

it sounds like they weren’t totally over, like you said, and suddenly he was engaged to someone else. And I mean, we saw so many beautiful pictures of them being in love and stuff but to me the song just sounds like mistakes and patterns repeating again and again. And yes, I’m glad Selena got out and stopped ignoring the signs. I’m glad she’s worked on loving and CHOOSING herself instead of making someone else a priority. 

Honestly the song makes things seem so differently now, looking back, like we were all looking trough rose-colored glasses. The lyrics speak such a different volume - “You promised the world and I fell for it”, “set fires to my forest and you let it burn”, “i put you first and you adored it”, “you got off on the hurtin when it wasn’t yours.” 

Yeah, it really sounds like it wasn’t planned to end like that. I can’t believe I’m about to say this but: good for her to move on from things. And Justin always wanted to get married as soon as possible and I gotta say, good for him to be with Hailey. Those two deserve each other and fit together so … whatever. Hot they did it sucks big time but at least Selena will be able to finally move on.
