Digital Soliloquoy is a social, public research project. It is digital, somewhat niche public facing research. An archive of my own, constantly in flux; . , if you will, but moreso, a digital soliloquoy. A tracker of current research interests and lines of thinking. Contents' range widely sourced from my own archive, the likes of google, institutional archives. A newly realized idea of utlizing personal experience in real time as research and source material.

The first realized work from a new, ongoing series, Taryn Simon’s Sleep (2020–2021) is composed of over two hundred photographs of bodies in a tangle of flesh and fabric; blankets blend with limbs, torsos, and pajamas, creating new and unexpected images of childhood and its fitful repose. Individually printed, trimmed, and mounted on a single panel, the pictures—of interior moments interrupted by the camera’s blinding flash—collapse identities, dreams, and time’s relentless continuum.
