The title was “COD Fails Compilation”. 20 minutes of people dropping and tripping over fish.
In-depth analysis of a waistcoat shown in one scene of Downton Abbey that was only available to people who bought the special edition blue-ray collection.
Sped-up restoration video of an indutrial power mixer with over 60 instances of a gloved hand giving a thumbs up in front of the camera. Each time the hand is missing something different.
Missed what was on TV last night? Either watch clips that the producers have approved to be posted, or full episodes at an odd angle shot from a cell phone that are more certainly not approved.
A video responding to a video, about a creator that makes videos that repond to other videos by a creator that makes cooking videos based off 1980′s television shows.
Movie trailer compilation with intros and outros that are four times louder than the trailers themselves and subtitles in Korean that were submitted by someone who doesn’t know Korean but wanted to be helpful and this is all they have now so let’s just give them this one thing they can do to contribute to society.
The title was “COD Fails Compilation”. Over an hour of game footage with entirely average and legitimate deaths narrated by someone who is constantly interrupted by an angry parent demanding something vague, but becoming increasingly more insistant about it.
120 minutes of continuous footage of a blurry person staring at a wall. There are more than 10 million views and 48 thousand comments. Every comment is the same. “He sees it too.”

You know, with all the language throughout Star Wars about “giving in” to the Dark Side, how the Dark Side makes you more powerful, how the Dark Side makes you age strangely and destroys you, it sure doesn’t sound like an “opposite side of the coin” so much as the “deeper end of the pool,” like it’s actually the true form of the force and being a Jedi is about keeping it tamed so it doesn’t eat you the way it actually wants.

This.

Everyone struggles with this feeling.
But you know exactly how much work you put into your art, how many hours and how much care and love went into your pictures and no matter the amount of likes or retweets you get, you KNOW the worth of your work.

Holy wow..

PART 2 of The Abandoned Dwarven Outpost – or Dwarven Ruins – a massive battlemap I drew, consisting out of six smaller, interconnected, battlemaps one can either use as separate maps or as one massive map. The basic idea is that one could either use the separate maps as gateways to a dungeon beyond, the beginning point of an underground adventure, or as a single map for an adventure into the ruins of this Dwarven Outpost.
The story behind the Dwarven Outpost was that it was built on top of a mine filled with precious metals, located near an active volcanic source. Hence the lava in some parts of the map. Making sure they would be able to protect the mining operation of this precious metal, the Dwarven built a fortress inside the mountain.
Starting in the bottom left corner of the map, you can see the entrance of the complex, a massive stone gateway carved in the shape of a Dwarven head. Once guarded from an overlook they build on top of the gateway. There is also an alternative rout around the mountain, they had closed off with a stone wall. In case of an attack, Dwarven infantry would man the walls and gateway while the cavalry mounted up in the stables build at the end of the hallway leading into the complex (top left corner), ready to ride out and meet their attackers head on. (Alternatively I had also designed an opening in the ceiling of the central courtyard of the stables, where flying mounts could make their exit).
The dwarves had also built a tomb near the first part of the complex, where fallen soldiers could be buried with honor.
All the way in the far right is both the mine itself and a fortress where the Dwarves had made their last stand. Only the first level of the fortress itself is accessible, the stairwell leading to the living quarters below has collapsed. (I might get to making a second level at one point, for all the areas that are missing, but for now I just use it as is).
Now in the lower center of the map is also a system of caves one could access. It was here that the Dwarves had discovered a mysterious portal stone, while working on expanding their complex. The exact spot where they eventually found their doom.
In my adventure the ruins are currently held by a pack of marauding orcs, who have taken control over the outpost long after it was found abandoned. They have no clue of what actually happened here, and the dangers hiding inside the mountain, as they were simply happy to find such a prized encampment.
If you like content like this, I would also like to invite you to check out my Patreon. Here you will find more of my custom monsters, (battle)maps, and (paper) miniatures that I create each month. I keep an online folder of all my work in High Res, a back catalogue that you can instantly access after joining up, gaining access to all my previous work including this. In due time I would love to publish a collection of it in print and pave the road to publishing more content that way.

This is great.
Somebody in discord suggested me: “We have already a crown that turns people into peach-like humans, what about a crown that turns princesses into dark souls bosses?” And this is the result. I came up with this design.

We played LEGO Harry Potter while reading this on our channel. That's 20+ episodes i'll never be able to fully delete from the internet...
Whenever I see people quoting/referencing/parodying My Immortal it’s always one of the same four or five lines. You know the ones.
The iconic opening paragraph, “Hi my name is Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way and I have long ebony black hair… (et cetera).”
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU MOTHERFUKERS!”
“I MAY BE A HOGWARTS STUDENT… BUT I AM ALSO A SATANIST!”
“Then he put his thingie into my you-know-what and we did it for the first time.”
“And Loopin was masticating to it!”
As great as those are, I’d like to throw a spotlight on what I think are some of the underappreciated parts of this classic work of fanfiction.
Ebony puts blood on her Count Chocula cereal instead of milk.
Enoby is canonically a weeaboo and speaks to her friends in Fangirl Japanese.
Harry’s scar is now a pentagram instead of a lightning bolt, so either he found some sort of spell to alter the appearance of the scar or he actually took the time to carve a pentagram into his forehead.
There is an OC named either Tom Riddle or Tom Rid who works at a “punkgoff” store in Hogsmeade and has absolutely nothing to do with Voldemort, he just happens to have the exact same name.
Tara somehow got Fred and George mixed up with Crabbe and Goyle.
The reason Snape doesn’t like Harry in this fic is because Snape is Christian and Harry is a Satanist.
Marty McFly literally appears out of nowhere to help Enoby travel through “tim” with his “tim machine.”
Chapter 11 ends with Hagrid singing along to “a gothic version of a song by 50 Cent.”
Voldemort inexplicably speaks in Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe.
Voldemort wears high heels.
Draco has a flying black Mercedes-Benz and a black MCR broom.
Snape has a Dork Mark on his penis.
Speaking of penises, Draco is apparently “hung like a stallone.” I guess Tara is a Rambo fan?
The Hedwig/Voldemort sex scene, wherein Hedwig is a male human instead of a female owl, for some reason.
Dumbledore flies around on his broomstick while holding a loaf of rye bread. At least, that’s what I think Tara meant by “Sudenly a gothic old man flu in on his broomstick. He had lung black hair and a looong black bread.”
Oh yeah, and Dumbledore is an Avril Lavigne fanboy, because of course he is.
James Potter’s “goff” nickname is Samoro, because Tara erroneously believes this to be the masculine form of the name Samara.
Draco’s singing voice is described as “a cross between Gerard, Joel, Chester, Pierre and Marilyn Manson.”
Tara’s brief feud with her editor Raven, as chronicled in the author’s notes, may or may not have had something to do with Raven borrowing Tara’s sweater and not giving it back. IDK, it’s unclear.
Voldemort smokes a “gothic blak Nightmare b4 Christmas cigar.”
McGonagall has the best insults, like “horny simpletons” and “mediocre dunces” and probably some others I’m forgetting.
Dobby only appears once in the entire fic and literally all he does is watch Snape and Lupin have sex, and then run away crying.
Sirius is referred to as Harry’s dogfather, and not gonna lie, even if it was a typo I think that is a genuinely clever pun.
The Hogwarts janitor may or may not be Chuck Norris.
Tara accurately predicted how Harry would defeat Voldemort in Deathly Hallows. No, really. “nd den hairy wil have 2 kommit suicide so voldimort will die koz he will rilly be a horcrox!!!!!111”
This line: “Snap stated loafing meanly. He took out a kamera anvilly.”
And this one: “‘Crosio!’ I shited pointing my wound. Snoop scremed and started running around da room screming.”
“Azerbaijan”
“Hoes of Wax”
“Tom Bombodil”
“Cornelio Fuck”
“Professor Slutborn”
“Preacher McGongol”
“Lumpkin”
“TaEbory”
“The Bark Lord”
“Vadermort”

As often as I'll be the first to start claiming 5e is good for almost any setting, there are some really great systems out there that work really well in their own ways!
Find a system that you and your players/GM like and do whatever you please with it! Roleplaying is about using your imagination to play at being something you're not and the systems are just there for conflict resolution.
Make sure the system you use matches the kind of players you have, for an optimal experience
Admin Note: This is part of the ongoing series called “D&D isn’t the only TTRPG if you don’t want fantasy play another goddamn game!”
