My brother’s dachshund, standing tall at eight inches, would attack a Great Dane in the full conviction that she could tear it apart. Calling Hoodoo, Vodou, Vodon, and other culturally significant religious practices that don’t belong to you, and you don’t understand “black magic.” And “Evil.” Is highly problematic, racist, and rude.

Wiccans and baby witches attempt constantly to overtake the voices of others.

Gerald Gardner pulled that Wiccan rede out of his asshole. He was a racist. He was a sexual preditor. He was a fraud. Stop trying to gatekeep practices older than the religion you claim, that don’t belong to you, and you don’t understand.

Your appropriation, and attempt at rebranding of Afro practice makes it harder for people to explore the culture that belongs to them.

You, are an oppressor, practicing a “religion” that is an appropriative amalgamation of culture.
