The Start

My Soul Link partner and I choose our games with me playing Pokemon Ruby and them choosing Pokemon Sapphire. They choose the male character and named them Matt and I therefore chose the female character and named them Amanda. Then our challenge began.

Starter Soul Link

After saving Professor Birch from the attacking Poochyena we each choose our starter. I picked Treecko and named him Hemlock after a species of conifer tree and my partner chose Torchic naming it after one of Odin’s ravens.

Basic Nuzlocke Rules

You can only catch the first encounter in each area. If the pokemon escapes or is killed you may not catch any other pokemon in that area.

Dupes Clause: Pokemon from families that have already been caught may not be caught again.

Shiny Clause: Due to the unlikely probability any encountered shiny pokemon maybe caught.

All captured pokemon must be given a nickname.

If a pokemon faints it is considered dead and must be released or boxed in a graveyard.

Soul Link Rules

Two players will be playing one each of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire

Pokemon encountered in the same area will be soul linked.

If one player misses or kills their encounter in an area the other player also does not get a pokemon in that area.

Linked pokemon must either both be in the party or both be in the PC.

If one linked pokemon dies, it’s soul linked partner is retired as well.

*Shiny Clause - In the event that a shiny pokemon is encountered it will take the place of that players latest soul linked pokemon.

This suave devil of a fellow is out to make sure that just as many sims are as hellbound as he. Charismatic and self-assured Alastor easily causes other sims to flock to him, most unable to see him for what he truly is.
