i could write a long-ass thing about how what you’re doing is wrong, but you know that already, so i’ll keep it short.

you’re stealing art by @trevoshere and @kawana_spring (twitter) and @peppertea, among others, reposting it on instagram without any proper credit or links, and you’re amassing followers off the back of their excellent art (when you’re not outright slicing out parts you don’t like and putting your own fucking watermark on everything–you know who you are). 

so, this is a dick move. god it’s a dick move. 

there’s more of you out there, no doubt, but in the ten seconds it took me to check the grimmichi tag on a brand new instagram account, i found this. so the point of this post is yes, to make you feel like shit. you did a shit thing.

so here’s the ultimatum, i guess: if you care for your follower count at all, delete, or credit the artists in your posts. because i will very patiently and quietly report (or have reported) every single uncredited post you have until instagram terminates your account and your popularity plummets to nothing. :) and what’s a social media account that has no followers? just…yelling into the void, i guess. and now that everyone knows, the grimmichi tag on the site just became a bit useless, didn’t it? 

so…do the right thing and credit your goddamn artists. i have a lot of free time to track this shit down, and art styles aren’t exactly something you can mask with a cheap-ass filter and some ugly formatting.
