i love reading! though sadly i haven't had the time nor the motivation to read lately :( i did pick up reading the book 'the raven boys' again because @ingydarwp and @dieasthedevilwp have convinced me :p i'm loving it.

i've sorttttt offfff thought of writing an original story a whileee ago, but never came around to it because i had no good ideas and honestly was too lazy to actually write it lol. it was such a vague idea that i don't even remember what it was, sadly :,) might have been something apocalyptic.

this is such a cute question!!! it definitely has to be when my dad surprised ten-year-old me with my first ever television. i don't think i left my room for days after that. shout-out to dad i love u dad!

i had to think for quite a while before answering this, because my readers are so incredibly kind and i get the sweetest comments. i think my absolute favourite comment has to be that, according to them, i write daryl very accurately! i really try my best to write everyone as in-character as possible, so comments like these make me very happy, especially cause daryl is pretty difficult to write sometimes. i've gotten this comment on both IRE and SW.

the fictional character i relate to the most, i think has to be max caulfield from life is strange :). she's just me. idk how to explain. i love her. ( there might be a couple more but i actually suck at answering these type of questions because i don't know myself uhhh )

I WANT TO BE A GIRAFFE. they're my fav animals EVERRR and i want to be them when i grow up. as for my ocs: - elodie: she would die to be any kind of fish. live a silly little life swimming around, minding her own business, possibly forgetting things every five seconds. pure bliss. - sybilla: would 100% be a crow (or really any bird) purely for the joy of dive-bombing people she doesn’t like and shitting on them. - brydee: a bear, hands down. hibernating all winter and avoiding society for an entire season? say freaking LESS!!! - navya: obviously her experience with animals is pretty limited — most of the ones she's seen were either mutated, aggressive, or both. but i feel like she'd absolutely thrive as a frog or something. - juliette (stranger things): for some reason, i mentally associate juliette with a koala. not for any deep meaning, i just do. - winona (supernatural): a fox. 100%. she checks every single fox personality box. - inez (yellowjackets): definitely a snake. again, i can't really explain this one lol okkkk i think that was all of my ocs! if i missed any, let me know, and i will edit this post :,)

god this question is so difficult because i have no idea what i want in life. i guess considering i'm going to attend a (kind of) film school after summer break, i'd love to work — behind the scenes — on a cool film, maybe. AAAAA i don't know!!! that's pretty pathetic of me i'm sorry.

my favourite shows are (obv) the walking dead, the last of us, SUPERNATURAL — currently hooked on that show, stranger things, and for nostalgic purposes: pretty little liars and once upon a time! they're kind of cringe, but i still love them, idk.

i watch supernatural on HBO!! i'm not sure if you have that, but all complete seasons are available on there :).

honestly, the jury’s still out! it’s definitely not gonna be cady, ron, or henry — cady and henry are in the friend zone (forever and ever), and she’s not exactly ron's biggest fan lol. and lydia’s off the table too, mostly because by the time she shows up, elodie’s like 18 or 19 or even older, and the age difference feels kinda icky. maybe she won’t even have a love interest at all?? who knows! if she does, it’ll probably be an OC :).

at first, elodie feels very overwhelmed by cady, mainly because cady absolutely adores elodie right away. she’s got all these big best-friend plans and wants to do a bunch of stuff elodie’s never even thought about doing before (some of it fun, some of it a little chaotic) and elodie’s just standing there like uhh do i like this?? do i not??? WHATDOIDO??? so she's not totally sure how she feels about it at first, but they become the absolute bestest of best friends in no time!!

ehhhhh... no. you thought right! she does recognise that he’s trying to be a better man, and maybe on some level, she respects that. but the truth is, she’s just been through way too much because of him. every time she looks at him, she’s right back at the sanctuary. she sees glenn and abraham on the ground, and so many other moments that are too painful (and too spoilery) to even list. so no, she never forgives negan. she knows he’s trying, but that doesn’t erase what he did. it's a little complicated.

elodie would absolutely love sybilla, i think. i will explain more in my answer to your next question :p.

sybilla would definitely not want her own children, but if there’s a sad, lonely kid out there, she’ll snap up the chance to care for them in a heartbeat. when the outbreak hits, before she finds daryl again, she actually ends up looking after two kiddos for a bit — so i’m pretty sure she, daryl and elodie would make the cutest little family ever. elodie would get spoiled rotten.

VERY GOOD QUESTION!!! i was actually thinking about juliette a lot today :,). she’s definitely gonna get published, no doubt — i just haven’t nailed down when yet, since i’ve got a bunch of other new fic ideas swirling around in my busy brain. but once i really lock down her story, trust !!!!!, she’ll be ready and waiting for you to dive into!!

Elodies Toughts about Lydia? <3

I'M SO LATE TO THIS HELLO!!!

at first, elodie's pretty wary of lydia, considering she was wandering around wearing walker skin... but elodie warms up to her pretty quickly :p

buuuuut, when alpha goes and murders quite a lot of elodie's friends, things get a little strained again. of course, elodie knows it's not lydia's fault directly, but it's difficult not to feel that bitterness when her friends have been killed and beheaded by lydia's mom.

however, because elodie is not a very resentful person, she doesn't let alpha's actions define how she sees lydia. after all, elodie's own mother wasn't all that great either, so they have something in common! they end up really good friends <3.

1. simply put: no! i’m very very happy with all of my faceclaims, if i’m being totally honest. that’s probably because i hunt for a faceclaim before i flesh out my characters, so i couldn’t imagine anyone else as them 😭

2. i write second wind chapters by first sort of skipping through the episode to gather an idea of what i’m gonna need to be writing, and then i start the episode from the beginning and just write it second by second, if that makes sense?? i just have the episode playing (and paused of course) as i write.

3. this is such a silly question and i love it.

- elodie: she would definitely be a strawberry flavour. like ANY kind; strawberry cheesecake, strawberry jam, whateverrr, anything strawberry!! i don’t know why, but she would.

- sybilla: i feel like she would be something like pistachio or something. pecan?? something along those lines :p

- brydee: definitely either cherry or black raspberry

- navya: coconut!!! i actually hate anything coconut flavoured but i feel like navya’s just coconut flavoured icecream. idk. i don’t really have an explanation for any of these …

unfortunately, there isn't really a surefire way of getting reads for your books, at least not that I know of. second wind is really the only book of mine that gets a decent amount of attention, and even that was pretty much just pure luck.

what i try to do to get more eyes on my fics is post regularly on tiktok! sometimes people come across your edits or snippets and think, "hey, i want to read this!!!" which is always pretty exciting.

i also try to stay active on social media and wattpad. commenting on other people’s stories and engaging with both readers and writers can sometimes lead others to check out your work as well!

sorry, i know this isn’t a perfect solution, and i wish i had a better answer, but just keep writing! good things will come with time :))

that’s actually a really good question. i don’t regret killing him off in general, however i do slightly regret how early on it happened. if i ever rewrote second wind, i would definitely keep him around longer.

without their mother in the picture, i think there would have been a chance for him and elodie to start healing and rebuilding their bond. they could have had a much better relationship… if only he’d had more time.

If sybilla could be a song, she would be medicine by daughter. obviously, she's pretty fucked up because of the high alcohol consumption and drug use. and, funnily enough, daryl keeps her on her toes. when she leaves, she just goes down a dark hole. she ends up going to rehab, but it doesn't do shit. she has a crappy life, loses her house. her life, up until the outbreak, is shit. and, yes, she can still be what she wants to be, but she needs daryl for that.

this next one was pretty impossible to answer because, admittedly, i have watched a very minimal amount of movies. ask me if i have watched a popular movie like beautiful boy and i would tell you no... regrettably.

now this next question is the one i love the most!! if sybilla could meet one person, dead or alive, fictional or real, she would RUN towards michael jackson. she loves that guy. she would be one of those girls that would start violently throwing up and sobbing and laughing if he even brushed against her shoulder.

movie quote!!! a quote i think is very fitting for elodie, is "we accept the love we think we deserve" </3. i can only think of her and her mama when reading this because all elodie wants is for catherine to love her as much as she does jamie. so every little ounce of affection she manages to scrape out of her mom, she cherishes.

the person elodie would meet if she could, would totally be someone like santa claus. she would be all about figuring out if he’s the real deal or not. same goes for the easter bunny, the tooth fairy, and religious figures like jesus. she just wants to know if they are actually real. and, more importantly, if they are as superduper awesome as everyone says they are!!!

1. grinning rn cause i asked you that question 🙈 i think about this so often so i’m glad it’s being thrown back at me.

elodie:

i think elodie would be very happy in a show like outerbanks just because she would be able to live out her usual silly life. she’s not really cut out for a apocalyptic scenario, if i say so myself, and i would want her to be able to play with her dolls and get proper care for her hearing loss without having to worry if she’ll make it another day :(. it’s not like she had a happy life before the apocalypse, but we’ll just have to throw daryl in as her dad and all problems would be fixed :P

this girl is made for the apocalypse, so if she had to be moved to a different universe, i would probably put her in twd or the100. although i do think she would also be a good fit for the hunger games, because girl does not gaf about anyone and i am certain she would win 😭.

sybilla:

i had to think about this one for quite a while honestly, but i do think the apocalypse is the best situation for her. she has no actual parents, her foster dad is an asshole, and once she gets away from him and tries to live out her life, she’s not happy at all. she lives in a crappy apartment, isn’t able to pay her rent and gets kicked out, then has to live with an old classmate she doesn’t even like.

when the outbreak happened, she was free of anything. yeah, she had to learn how to survive, but it was possibly one of the best things that could have happened to her. grimly said.

navya:

she just has to be thrown into a ‘normal’ world and live with a happy family, cause that’s just all she needs. living on earth with a bunch of other teenagers really fucked her up, both mentally and physically. she always misinterprets things people tell her, which results in… not so good things… and i think if she was able to live a proper life, she would be able to get the help she needs.

i have to cut it short with just my published ocs because i’m supposed to be getting ready rn and i’m a little behind schedule… 😵

@dieasthedevilwp was the one who inspired me to make a daryl daughter book, because future ghosts had a DEATH GRIP on me LMFAO

anddd i had always wanted to try out writing a hard of hearing character, and i thought it would be interesting to see how someone with hearing loss would adapt in an apocalypse. i did make it harder for myself than needed by having her not know any sign language at the very start, but i think that also made it pretty interesting how she then communicated with people once she lost her hearing aids for a while.

3. if i could change one thing about second wind, it would be the small details about elodie’s hearing loss in the first half of the book. i did my proper research, but for some reason i was not very clear about the degree of el’s hearing loss and if she had one or two hearing aids… why? no clue, i was dumb i guess 😭. i also was not writing anything about her down at all, so any small details i might have thought of would have just disappeared into the dark corners of my brain.

4. me and rueben have actually had a very brief conversation about who i could recast elodie as (if ever needed) and she told me maisie sly would be good, and i agree! she’s deaf, and her scenes are all in sign language which would have been perfect for elodie. she’s also a little blonde girl, as a bonus.

but i am holding on tight to elle fanning, because in my head, she IS elodie. everything about her is elodie. they are one 🤞.

HEYHEY!!! i’m so late to this one i apologise :(

elodie would be confused as hell at first, but when she understands how her forehead just got so much bigger, she LOVES it. she snags everyone’s phones and takes 0.5 pictures of literally everything and everyone until someone has to pluck the phone out of her hands.

jamie does not like them. when elodie comes close to him holding the phone, he grabs something to throw at her / the camera. elodie manages to get a picture of him anyway, snarling at the camera, and he runs after her yelling at her to delete it.

cady is the 0.5 pictures master. she was actually the one to show elodie how to take them, and now they team up to harass everyone by shoving a phone into their face and taking about fifty 0.5 pictures per person.

brydee would pretend to hate it, but secretly, she loves the silly perspective of the 0.5 pictures. ellie would constantly shove the phone into her face, to which brydee would try to smack it out of her hands, but she would demand to see the pictures afterwards. maybe even laugh a little.

sybilla, again, is the 0.5 picture queen. she takes them of everyone she’s around. sadly for daryl, he is her main victim. she has around a hundred 0.5 pictures of daryl in her camera roll. when someone takes them of her, she aims to make it as ugly as possible. the uglier, the better.

navya absolutely loves taking them. she, too, gets all up in the camera and pulls the silliest faces :p. BUT, the photographer does have to delete them afterwards, because she does not want other people to have such weird pictures of her to … i don’t know … threaten her with or whatever.

inez is shy. she covers the camera with her hand or whatever she’s holding, giggling a little. she never takes any pictures of herself, and she gets nervous when others do. she doesn’t like to be made a fool.

i might have missed some of my ocs but you will just have to forgive me for that 💔.
