Today we were in a studio talking to a band who are recording an album there AS WE TYPE.

This man is not in the band, but the guitar belongs to them.

We're just back from Koko in London, where we spied on Charlie Simpson during his soundcheck - then spoke to him about his new EP release.

Young Guns, Borderline, London 10/02/12

Earlier this evening we were at The Borderline for Young Guns. Two girls very kindly let me in front of them during Polar's set to take photographs - and, needless to say, if they hadn't, we'd have got very little usable images at all (it's not easy to take photos over a crowd if you're just 5' 4").

They had disappeared by the time I moved - and I feel really really bad about them having given up their space at the stage for us.
