"Every artist has their own way of getting in the right headspace and zone. My music is not completely upbeat, commercial EDM crap that you usually listen. My tracks are neither too happy nor too sad. Right in the middle, and I have a toxic way of being in the zone sometimes. I force myself to keep revisiting a wound, I get really sad and fire up my DAW or the notebook and then write my songs. These are days of sadness that I am talking about, and due to that I latch onto the wound - although now I have clarity, I don't let it consume me, but I deliberately fuck with my head and heart to write a track, 9-10 hours straight. Some work, some doesn't. Repeating the same process again and again."
-Me.
