Super Mario Odyssey is weird ⊟ 

You got Mario running around “New Donk City” with humans twice his size, throwing his hat at enemies and using it as a platform, and doing all sorts of other things we’re not used to seeing from the plumber.

Here’s how Nintendo described it all:

“Mario embarks on a new journey through unknown worlds, running and jumping through huge 3D worlds in the first sandbox-style Mario game since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Set sail between expansive worlds aboard an airship, and perform all-new actions, such as throwing Mario’s cap.”

It’s not releasing for the Switch until this Holiday season.

There’s a lot of Splatoon in Switch’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ⊟ 

Because you’ll need something to look forward to after the Breath of the Wild’s novelty fades, the Switch will get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a couple months after the system’s launch (April 28 to be exact).

This “definitive” version includes DLC from the Wii U version, a revamped battle mode, new characters (Inkling Girl and Boy, King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr), new courses, the ability to carry two items, three new vehicles including two inspired by Splatoon, new items (Boo, Feather), and more.

I know he doesn’t get top billing like the Splatoon kids, but I am so glad that my favorite racer Dry Bones is back.
