It hasn’t picked up in the way we thought it would and for me, my muse has been a bit wonky so we figured this would be for the best. Good afternoon members ! I just wanted to pop in to touch base and go over some announcements . First and foremost , we want this group to be as diverse as possible so for the time being , if you are looking to pick up a secondary character they must either be a muse of color or muses who are not cis . At this time ,  in general , we will only be accepting characters who are muses of color or non-cis .

This is a short and sweet task all about your character ! Who they were before the fall , who the are now , what motivates them , what their goals are , why they joined the group they did , why they survive on their own , etc . Members are free to get as creative as they want with this challenge . Members can make graphics , write paras , headcanons , etc . Eric is a part of the prophets and has been for quite some time , he’s also Sol’s second in command . Basically , this is just a simple rivals connection . This person basically wants what Eric has / thinks they can be a better second in command than Eric can be .

( cis male & he/him ) That dead person walking looks a lot like JESSE LEE SOFFER but it’s really just TYLER UPTON. They are THIRTY-NINE and they consider themselves to be a NEW ORDER . Don’t let their looks fool you , their weapon of choice is SNIPER RIFLE & HANDGUN and they aren’t afraid to use it .

Tyler was 19 years old and had been on the police force for about a year when the world ended. He was a police officer in the city of Chicago, where he was born and raised. Tyler remained on service for as long as possible, he had been stationed at one of the quarantine zones, helping the military keep everyone in check when things took a turn for the worse. The zone got overrun by walkers pretty fast and it was chaotic. People were running, some were getting ripped apart by walkers and Tyler felt useless in that moment. He knew that if he stayed there, trying to fight the impossible, he would end up dead on the ground so he ran. In the middle of the chaos, Tyler got separated from his partner, someone he cared about a lot and was very important to him. He tried to find her, looked for her through the streets of Chicago on their patrol car but eventually, it got impossible to keep going so he left. He has no idea what happened to her, if she made it out of the city to safety or if she died but he never lost hope and he’s still looking for her today. 

He eventually found a place to settle down and remained there for a few years. It has a good food supply, water and even some medicine. It was hidden enough that both walkers and humans wouldn’t be able to find it … or that’s what Tyler thought. Eventually, it got overrun by walkers, just like everything seemed to be in this world, and Tyler had to escape, being able to pack as much of his stuff as possible before running away. He was on the road for a while, making a few stops here and there, being able to spend a few months on some places. Until he arrived in the state of Georgia and met a group of former soldiers, who told him about a new place that was getting built by mostly soldiers. Tyler felt like that was a good place for him, he had mostly kept to himself throughout the years but maybe it was good to be apart of a group, help out and feel like he has a purpose once again. And they say there’s strength in numbers. So Tyler joined the New Order and has been with them for a few years now.

Angel was still a teenager when the fall first came about, he hadn’t exactly been the most well behaved child and he didn’t exactly have a family to lose. He grew up in and out of foster homes, mixing with bad crowds in even worse neighbourhoods. In hinds sight, it was probably his experience with the world that gave him some ability to take care of himself, more than most in his situation at his age, at least.

That was not to say that it was easy, Angel definitely suffered, but being small and quick benefitted some, and then acting in ways to save his own skin benefitted him in others. He was taken into groups every once in a while, but groups rarely survived in the beginning, and the same could be said for their resources. He took what he needed from them, learned from them and moved on without getting attached. For a while he took to smuggling, he was good at it and earned himself quite the reputation, but eventually it wasn’t doing Angel any good to be alone.

The Arcadians just so happened to be the first group he came across, it’s only been a couple years but even still to this day Angel tries to keep his distance, struggling to let anybody in. He prefers to have no loyalty, but it’s hard not to appreciate what they have done for lone stragglers like him, and everybody else they come across, but at the end of the day, his own survival is what he values most, and therefore he’s just about ready to go to who ever seems most likely to survive.

Morning  members ! First and foremost , I just want to thank everyone for being apart of this group / joining . I know we haven’t been open long but it’s been a lot of fun and exciting to get to know you all / write with you all . With that being said , I just wanted to throw out a few announcements .  First , while we want this group to be lax , we have a few members that have yet to post on the dash / send in their accounts . We know that things can get a bit crazy so we’ll be giving everyone until Monday to either make their first post on the dash and/or send in their accounts . Second , we will most likely have our first event kicking off later in the week so please keep a look out for details regarding that ! If anyone has any questions , feel free to ask either in the discord or via the main .
