Although it didn't happen often, before she went by Aaliyah Rose, she turned a small handful of people into vampires, though none of them made it very far.

Your character would have been turned sometime between the early 1900s and the 1940s, likely around the time Aaliyah was using the name Alice Rosenthal.

Alice was prone to long bouts of languidness followed by bloodbaths, and your character was unfortunately caught up in all of that. Rather than let you die, though, she decided to turn you, be it for her own amusement or just a desperate desire for companionship; she never properly gave you an answer.

While traveling with Alice, you would have been taught indulgence. People are just pawns to be manipulated, you are just a pawn to be manipulated, but she humors you, and she teaches you, and she does her best to keep you both safe. Slaughter is meant to be contained in back alleys and deserted areas that can be cleaned quickly. Money is meant to be taken, but only from those with an excess that they won't miss for long. It's for the best if you leave no trace, but if you do, always have an excuse and a new identity at the ready.

You never learned much about Alice's past, only that she was older than the several decades that she claimed to be, and she was incredibly wary of hunters after they'd killed her own sire and her last prodigé years ago.

Whether it's over a spat or nothing at all, one day, you wake up to find Alice gone. There's no note, no trail to follow. You spent days wondering if something had happened to her or if she'd merely grown tired of you, but you never learned the truth. Instead, you kept going, wandering the world and enjoying your unlife and the teachings that Alice had given you.

Maybe your thoughts frequently fluttered to your sire, or maybe you hardly thought of her at all, but you remember feeling the night that she'd almost died in April of 2024. You thought she was dead, but the pain faded too fast, leaving you winded but not in agony. Perhaps you grew worried or curious or irate, but you remembered hearing about the last sanctuary for supernaturals, Lunar Cove. If something was powerful enough to nearly kill your rotten old sire, there might be something to the concept of safety in numbers, so you start heading your way to Rhode Island. Of course, there's very little to prepare you for running into your sire, going by a new name with a new disposition, much less having to deal with her as the advisor to the vampire clan you've been thinking about joining.

Hi there, anon! All great faces I especially love Tony and Pedro! As of right now, Andrew and Pedro would not fit into any of our houses that already have members, but Tony would work for the following spots;

he was born forty-three years ago, he is a werewolf who lives in bowden as the owner of the fable, and is in no pack. he looks an awful lot like pedro pascal.

TW: drugs, alcohol, experiments, military & violence.  Lucas was born to a single mother and struggled to fit in from the moment he could socialise with other kids his age, as a result he kept to himself and learnt to enjoy his own company until he started High School and finally found a group of his friends he could rely on. With a lot of pent up anger and resentment from his poor upbringing, Lucas quickly found himself getting into trouble whether it be starting fights, dealing or drinking. With only his mother to depend on, who also struggled with alcohol dependency, Lucas had nowhere to go but down. He'd always been a smart kid, he'd spent so many years with his head in books he'd taught himself plenty but growing up in High school all he wanted to do was impress his group of friends and he'd do anything necessary to make that happen. It didn't matter how smart he was, Lucas never believed he would get anywhere in life. 

After High school he went on to join the Dog Soldier program with his best friend, Rafael Perez, they'd met shortly before school and he'd gone on to be the only person Lucas found himself able to rely on. He'd follow him wherever he went. If Rafael told him to jump, Lucas would ask him how high. So when his friend joined the army, Lucas followed. The pair were inseparable and they went on to suffer and survive the experiments they were put through. The Lucas that had left to join the army never truly came home after that, the deal they'd struck meant he'd promised he'd never speak of what had happened, but even if he could have he wouldn't. For a long time Lucas barely uttered a word to anybody. When he tries to speak he often finds himself stuttering over his words, unable to form proper sentences. He lost contact with what was left of the pack, Rafael included, and went on to find himself forming unhealthy habits surrounding alcohol and sometimes drugs. 

However over time Lucas started to see the perks to being a werewolf and eventually started to dig himself out of the hole he'd found himself in. After some tragic events the wolf refuses to speak of, Lucas left town and found himself in Opulence. He started to volunteer at the fable before he eventually went on to work there, earning himself enough money to find himself a place in Bowden after sleeping rough for some time. While he still keeps to himself, Lucas has worked hard to try and make a better life for himself, though it's not without its struggles. 

Now that he owns the Fable, Lucas focuses his attention fully on his work, managing being a werewolf and hopes one day to find himself in a better position. He continues to struggle with his stutter on occasion and the enhanced hearing he's gained as a result of settling in Opulence can sometimes cause him some distress but Lucas has learnt to adapt to his own way of living and wants to begin again in any way he can. 

“what power did he attain when settling in opulence?”

When he settled into opulence, Lucas gained an enhanced ability to hear from a long distance. While he tries to keep to himself this ability has proven to be more of a hindrance to help them, often overhearing conversations as he learns to be more mindful of his new power.

During high school, Annette was skipping more than showing up, preferring to explore the woods around town. She met a grizzled old tour guide when she was 12 who took a liking to her, and let her stick around and taught her about the job, influencing her to do it herself by 14. Annette loves to travel off the paths, and explore deep into the woods, so I imagine he would have had an impact on that. Very strong ‘lone wolf and cub’ archetype, probably used to try and scare her off but it only made her more interested in sticking around. He seems like a real asshole but is a sweetheart deep, deep, deep down.

It was an unusually warm spring day when Abraham made his way into the world, 6 pounds of screaming flesh and another mouth to feed. There were already too many of them on the caravan, having made the trek across the mountains in search of a better life and a baby brought both hope and questions. Neither parent cared though, happy that their son would not be subjugated under the same regime that made them leave their own country behind – America held promise, its rivers filled with gold, its manifest destiny a siren song for all those in need. Of course, it wasn’t like that, his parents cheated out of the little money they had, given a farm with land that didn’t grow the crops they wanted to sell. Cows were stolen, people refused to trade with those from outside their community. The American dream quickly turned into an American nightmare, with nothing to trade or sell, the family were headed for poverty before they’d even really began. In their desperation, father turned to the lawless west, sporting a mask on his face and a gun in his hand, going out in the dead of night and robbing folk on the highways. It didn’t last long – he was inexperienced and soon caught, crimes that weren’t his own added onto his sentence and he hung by the neck till death.

Abraham was 5, and with no prospects Imelda was faced with a life on the streets or selling herself for money – she chose the latter, setting up in a whorehouse. Children weren’t usually allowed but she offered to pay double to allow Abe to have somewhere to sleep. Some of the older women enjoyed the kid, teaching him things, at least until he was old enough to play outside on his own. He joined the street urchins, pick pocketing from rich folks about town and taking from shops when nobody was looking. With very few prospects, Abraham’s life had a dubious future. It became even more murky when typhus hit, killing half the women in the brothel and condemning the entire town as a no-go zone. His mother was one of the lost and at the ripe age of 14, Abraham was orphaned. At first, he tried to make ends meet, selling off his mother’s possessions to keep a room in a bedsit, trying some manual labor but none of it was long term. Eventually, it all dried up, leaving him penniless with nothing but the boots on his feet.

Like his father before him, Abraham turned to crime to get back. Unlike the man before him, however, he proved to be particularly good at the highwayman life. He was a lone wolf until one day he turned a gun on the wrong man, for when he stopped the fancy looking stagecoach 5 more guns pointed back – an entire posse of outlaws. Luckily, they didn’t want to shoot, more interested in recruiting Abraham for themselves. That’s how he joined Delafonte’s gang, becoming the scourge of everyone that decided to make their way toward Texas. It felt like life was looking up for Abraham, who’d found his place in a dying world when it happened. In the desert, all 6 of them singing round the fire and counting up a days robbery when they were set upon by creatures of the night. Vampires. All of them died except Abraham, the coven’s matriarch taking a liking to him and keeping him as a pet. Dazed, and completely feral with bloodlust, it was easy for him to kill indiscriminately. Small town after small town felt their wrath, Abraham blinded by the overwhelming sire bond and fledgling impulses. It would be a year before he truly woke up, to the sound of a sobbing child, the spell broken. Gore and bodies surrounded him, and he made a promise to protect communities from the vampiric menace.

And he did, spent the rest of his existence doing so until there were no more small towns out West left. Afterwards, Abraham wandered into modern civilization, ready to re-join the world and protect it from unfriendly creatures of the night.

After the murder of the former Coalition Leader on July 4, 2022, the Coalition held an election for leader, with Benjamin Anak Bandi winning the election and becoming the Human Coalition’s new leader. Your character would become Ben’s advisor not soon after.

The two of you have been Coalition members together for well over a decade now. Perhaps you’ve always living in Lunar Cove, or perhaps you arrived shortly before Ben (he’s been in town for over fifteen years) 

You and Ben are either peers of around the same age, or your character is a bit older, but totally down for workshopping how you believe their relationship might have developed. Ben himself is a pretty amicable guy, so, at least on his end, there wouldn’t be any bad blood.

Speaking of Ben’s amicable personality, it might be interesting if your character has a bit more steel. Ben’s no pushover, but he also tries to find solutions that lead to the least amount of bloodshed possible, and he’s heavily concerned with minimizing the loss of life. He’s not fond of dishing out strenuous punishments, and he tends to ere on the side of teaching lessons as opposed to serious reprimanding. Your character could possibly be the one that proposes the hard solutions that Ben doesn’t want to consider.

On a slightly different note, with the increase of hunters and Lunar Cove being the only supernatural safe haven left in the entire world, your character could be increasingly concerned about human/supernatural relations, particularly if they might start turning sour in the town. Also, with this increase in population, there’s also an increase in supernaturals unaffiliated with their specific species groups. How are we feeling about that? Annoyed about the extra paperwork? All of these are things to consider!

Just as Ben was elected to the position of Council Leader, your character was also elected to the role of advisor.
