First actual post! I have a few years worth of art and photos that I’d like to eventually post on here, so I’m going to try and update about once a day for a little while.

This is my (as of yet) unused DnD character, Cordelia Tendineae - she’s a lich follower of the goddess Evening Glory, meaning she doesn’t easily fit into most campaigns. (but designing characters is the most fun part of the process for me anyways!)

Design-wise, she was mainly inspired by Victorian arsenic dresses, along with moonflowers. Her hair is actually meant to be chestnut brown but I chose to use Scheele’s green to match the dress for aesthetic reasons.

The background is just one of the first pictures that came up when I searched ‘ballroom’ so there isn’t much to say about that.

It’s also worth noting that I am far from an expert on Victorian fashion or the era in general, but I would love to learn more about it if anyone notices inaccuracies or has other suggestions.

The last one is mine. She’s a bit wonky, but I was trying to draw it as fast as possible without getting caught up on little details. All things considered I’m pretty proud.

I realized I haven’t posted in the 6 months since I’ve got tumblr so I should really work on that and post some more of my art.

I’ll get around to it I’m sure.

Hello, my name is Kat because it’s short for Katherine. My username is doesnteatpoison because (despite the allegations) I have never eaten poison. I’m currently in college and I use she/they pronouns.

I have no idea how anything on tumblr works yet, but I made this account because a few of my friends have been pestering me about tumblr for YEARS now and whatever madness ensues here is the result of their persistence. Also because I got sick of Instagram.

I still have no idea what I’m going to post here, but I’ll make it up as I go along.
