last bit of rambling before i actually do things but for the 3 years this blog has been inactive ‘man i wanna finish creativetitle’ has always been on my mind ....... so now that im actually in a place that i can work on it im >:3

HI ANYWAYS AS I SAID IN MY LAST POST. IM MAYBE ACTUALLY GONNA WORK TO FINISH THIS GODFORSAKEN GAME? but i never learned how to draw environments so 

heres what im looking for and i hope this makes sense !!

closest style similarity i have in mind would be the ds pokemon games ! but like throw anything at me.

im not quite sure what i’ll exactly need but mostly its :

general tiles (grass,dirt,water,etc, you know the deal)

buildings (present-day modern and suburban, mostly. i can make sketch basic stuff)

deco stuff (furniture, plants, trees, yaknow. can also sketch basic ideas !)

SO YA SORRY THIS IS INCREDIBLY INFORMAL I NEVER LEARNED HOW 2 BE FORMAL TO SAVE MY LIFE. I HOPE. THIS MAKES SENSE

So a big chunk of us RPG-maker nerds love us some spicy horror, no doubt.  I personally love my body horror (gimme them extra arms/legs, b0ss), with psychological horror being in close second.

Nonetheless, I’d like to see more body/psychological horror games like this really try to push  the weird factor farther than bloody knives or scribbly red drawings honestly; get creative, folks. Junji Ito and Oshimi Shuzo are two artists I’d heavily recommend to look to for inspiration in this medium.

So what’s everyone else’s favorite horror element?

the only update is im going with anthros instead of ferals because while ferals are in my comfort zone, the universe makes like, no sense for everyone to be on four legs

which means everyone gets half assed fancy redesigns

im debating on what style i wanna go for, whethers its entirely pixels, entirely drawn/painted, or a mix (like previously before the semi-indefinite hiatus because of my health)

dev stuff has been kinda quiet here and thats been like 70% because im a fool who forgets to post updates but now theres some stressful personal stuff going on and im pretty sure the monstrosity that is ikea nikki wont be complete for the end of the jam

i do promise that itll be done before the end of july but hopefully before then, as hopefully things are gonna get all sorted out soon-!!
