🎀: ranking timothee chalamet films and why

1. Wonka

although this was most popular in theaters, it really touched me. i love musicals, and he portrayed willy wonka’s character in a way nobody else has. it was brilliant and perfect, in my opinion. i have every word of this film memorized!

2. A Complete Unknown

this is almost equivalent to Wonka. bob dylan is my FAVORITE singer of all time. i have such a strong connection to his music, and his voice was trained so beautifully for this role. he portrayed bob dylan perfectly and was so deserving of this amazing movie. although the story line had a few false additions, he carried it all so well. i have seen this movie about 5 times, it is so lovely.

3. Call Me by Your Name

no words. this movie amazed me and i believe it should be intertwined into my soul. from the cinematography to the design of the characters, it is perfect.

4. The French Dispatch

such a unique film! french culture is something i adore because of my family, and he was very suitable for a film like this. it was lovely seeing so many familiar references and stories. a creative and interesting idea, showcases a lot of his talent.

5. Little Women

i read this book at the beginning of 8th grade, after seeing the movie once it originally came out. the story is beautiful and touched me deeply. laurie was played amazingly and i would honestly believe he is the real life laurie!
