Artist mutuals can i get some help on how to make this better because ive been staring at it for hours and i just need outside opinions. Making the hair like that was intentional but im probably going to change it to be more Paul like.
#Hello! I'm not a mutual but I can help out.#I think this looks great and it honestly looks completely fine in a style like this. I can tell who it is and I understand what's going on#I'm not sure what you don't like so I'll suggest just stuff I notice#Paul's hair is longer here than in the show you can keep it shaggy but make sure to follow the flow of the hairstyle#his right eye is a bit larger than his left if you change one make sure to keep the space between the eyes 1 eye length long#also his facial features are leaning to (our) left while his chin is more to (our) right make sure these are aligned#maybe show the form of the shirt by wrapping the collar around the neck also they are different widths from each other#finally I love your use of colors! the hue shifting looks great! and you understand the direction of the light source#the only thing is that the shading on the face isn't consistent why is there shadow on one cheek but not the other?#a highlight on one but not the other? I would say for a front angle try to be symmetrical#I know this is a lot of words but you're doing great! I can do a paint over after work to show you what I'm talking about if you want
