This is a very sweet question that makes me all warm and fuzzy feeling ☺️ Because, just know, it’s god tier.

Also I’ve AU’ed this so that it isn’t apocalyptic times and they can just be cozy and sweaty in their own apartment. (MDNI)

Immediately after railing you into next year, the first step is just sweaty, wet snuggling. She collapses beside you and rolls to pull you into her arms. And she’s so sweaty and all her muscles are juiced up like she just finished the workout of a lifetime (because, well, she did) and she’s trying to slow her panting. All the while, she’s murmuring praise into your ear, pressing kisses across your cheeks and jaw as she patiently waits for you to come back to earth. And when you do come to, and wrap your arms around her sweaty back, she nuzzles into you and kisses you so slowly and gently that it makes your heart want to burst.

Then, she’s on the move to get you some water and a snack and a damp face cloth. With one more sweet, lingering kiss, she sits up and grabs your water bottle off the night stand and slowly pulls you into a sitting position with her other arm. She’s totally got her ‘oh my god, I couldn’t possible love you more’ eyes on as she watches you gulp back water, your cheeks flushed, sweaty and maybe a little teary. Once you tell her that, yes, of course, you’re okay, then she heads into the kitchen — still completely naked — to get that leftover pizza that the two of you had last night and two warm, damp face cloths. When she gets back, and she sees you looking up at her with the dreamiest, post-fuck eyes on, she nearly melts on the spot. The two of you wipe down all the sweaty, wet places of your body with your own face cloths, despite Abby’s “I’d lick you clean like an animal, if you’d let me”, which you giggle at and playfully swat her away.

And then, once you’re all cleaned up, it’s more cuddling and her reading a few chapters of the book the two of you are reading together. After tossing both of your rags into the laundry basket, she climbs into bed with the pizza box and the two of you get cozy beside one another. Abby grabs the book off the nightstand, cracks it open and starts reading as you dig into the pizza, offering her every second bite. And she’s all glowy and perfect and you keep interrupting her reading to kiss her softly, to whisper that you love her and that she sure can fuck, holy moly.
