Heres a drawing of one of my personal favorite comic characters, Spider Gwen! I had to draw a cityscape so I thought it would be fun to theme it around her dimension (and to make it more fun for me with the references)

5 point perspective practice featuring my ocs! I tried something a bit different with my rendering and shading, I don’t know if I love it enough to stick with it. But that’s not bad thing, just lets me come back to the piece in the future to try something else new with it.

Was reminded of this post today, guess we won’t be seeing J Jonah Jameson variants anytime soon…

When beyond the spiderverse comes out artists should upgrade to J Jonah Jameson “sonas”. Either what the news reporter against your spider would look like in their world, or if people want, themselves as a j j.

All of them are voiced by JK Simmons though, unfortunately it seems that may be the only true canon rule of Spider-Man lore.

nothing is more frustrating than when I’m leading a serious discussion about the importance of learning how to properly research folklore & cultural stories from reliable sources and someone pipes in like “why does it matter if it’s all made up anyway?”

yeah dude vampires are made up and the whole “vampires couldn’t see their reflections in antique mirrors because of the silver backing” is made up so you can combine those however you want for fun.

but you can’t say “the Victorians believed vampires couldn’t see themselves in mirrors because of the silver backing, which is why Dracula has no reflection,”

because the author of Dracula was a real man who never said that and the Victorians were real people of a real era and you can’t just make up things about real people because it’s important historically for us to understand what people believed about the world and why.

Making up facts about vampires is folklore & literature. Claiming random people in the past believed that, with no evidence, is just lying.

Am I making sense??

I realized I never posted the gif version for this back in February. Art collab with kana_v3n0m on instagram where we each designed a Valentine’s Day clown and did a piece with them. The lineless style reminded me or paper cut outs or dolls so editing/animating the original piece I wanted to emulate that idea. I still adore these designs, Bonbon and Candy are so cute!

Went wild and drew this in like a day and a half XD But, thought it was time to make a Gravity Falls poster! I particularly loved drawing paper jam Dipper, haha!

Sorry it’s been a while, I’ve been really busy, but busy with stuff I may post soon.

Recently I had to make a looping animated comic and decided to use some Spooky Delights characters, including ones that haven’t been posted yet. All of them work in various shops on the street: Ezekiel in a laundry mat, Lyre in a bookstore, and Maillard, Suzette, Sauté, and Brûlée in a restaurant.

I might make a sequel version with more of the characters since I love the vibes and characterization of what they do on a rainy day. ☔️🌧️
