This year’s ship week runs from September 27 to October 4 and accepts any and all fanwork (art, fanfiction, edits, playlists, etc) dedicated to reed richards and victor von doom!

There are two different prompt options included for each day, it’s your choice to pick the first prompt, second prompt or both! please tag your posts with #doomreedweek2025 on twitter, tumblr, or bluesky so we can promote it! if you would prefer us to post your work directly, please send us a direct message on whichever platform you prefer.

Feel free to participate in however many days you would like! And feel welcome to message or tweet @ us if you have any questions about the ship, the week, the prompts, and anything in between! All are welcome, looking forward to another fun year!!

Day 8: free day!

I've finally got myself together enough to start packing & shipping these, so:

Sorry for the delay on getting these out, but if you want pins for DoomReed Week 2024, they're totally free, though I will need some kind of mailing address (and I'm in the US so if you live overseas and can chip in something toward shipping that would be lovely, it's not necessary since they're pretty small tho and I don't think I'll be flooded with requests) - I can send up to 5 before they get heavy, so feel free to request multiples.

Summary:

“If I don’t make it out alive,” Reed swallowed down a sob (it was either a sob or the blood in his mouth), “I love —”

“Don’t you dare say that,” Victor cut him off, eyes bloodshot and hands trembling.

Or, Reed was dying in Victor’s arms. Victor feared help would not arrive in time.

Summary:

“You know what I think?” Victor stalked closer, and when Reed gulped the sound seemed too loud, echoing in the cold room that felt too hot, “I think you like it when I tell you what to do. I think…” He tugged at the chain attached to Reed’s collar, eliciting a soft moan, before leaning in and whispering in Reed’s ear, “you get so hard every time you fantasize about being my slave. With me fucking you. Hard and rough.”

It’s the first time Reed sees his own creation, the man whom he’s turned Victor into.

Or, the first time Reed meets Doom. Needless to say, Doom’s determined to make a great first impression. (It does not go as planned.)

For DoomReed Week, day 2 — canon divergence of the scene from Fantastic Four movie where Victor kidnaps Reed from the Baxter Building and freezes him, aka the scene where Victor first becomes Doom, with Reed at his mercy. Unlike canon, Susan never shows up, so Victor gets to do to Reed whatever he wants.
