The guy in charge of music at SSE already considered signing a contract with Dj AI’s company when the social media team made the statement that SSE would never use AI. He’d known since 2023. It wasn’t a broken promise, it was just a straight up lie.

Through the small window on the door you can see one lone man, his face dimly lit up by five dull monitors, screens all taken up by different SSO character chatbots. As he types prompts from the recent quests trying to get responses that align with the characters, wondering why they’re behaving like tropes of themselves rather than the original characters that his fired coworkers once wrote, he swears at AI-lex because she has once again confused Elizabeth with her actual mother and fully doesn’t remember that James is her brother.

Bless up to the person who called this out on Reddit. Star stable is once again working with AI, this time in their music.

I could accept the shitty, hastily put together excuse that the Spotify banner was a mistake. Firing real artists is not a mistake. Signing a contract with a company that says this about AI is not a mistake.

Boldly and proudly watching on as someone declares that your values, and we as your audience, align with ai slop, is not a mistake. Having wanted to do this SINCE 2023 when you first heard of dj dex proves that the AI art wasn’t really a fucking mistake either.

I will point out, nowhere have I personally read that all of the music is generated in an AI program. The only references I’ve seen to AI is in the programming and her voice, which allows her to be used as a chatbot. However seeing as she sings in the Stay song used in the Fort Pinta disco, there are at absolute best pieces of AI generated bullshit in the actual songs used by SSO.
