the thing about terms like transmasc and transfem that I love so much but I also feel we've sadly forgotten is just how broad they are. it doesn't inherently imply an agab, it doesn't inherently imply that they're binary, it doesn't even really inherently imply a gender at all. someone who's transfeminine is just transitioning to look more feminine than they used to be. that's all it really tells you. someone who's transmasc can be a trans man, they can be nonbinary, they can be butch, they can be afab or amab or intersex and so much else. but we've reduced that to "basically a trans man" and "basically a trans woman"

TW/CW: racism, anti-endogenics, use of slurs, religion/spirituality
Vent.
Today I am tired.
I am tired of wasting my breath and my energy on people who do not understand, and do not want to understand. I’m tired of trying to educate people, when I can hardly convince myself to get out of bed lately. Why is this my job, as a spiritual BIPOC, to educate anti-endos when the resources are all there, waiting to be discovered with simple searches? Why is it my job? I am tired.
I am screaming to people who cannot hear me, who don’t want to hear me, who only want to argue and insist that the racism is all in my head. That my religion and spirituality is fake to the white man, so it’s okay to deny any experiences it may give me related to plurality. I am begging for someone to listen to me and realize that bigotry against my people is so socially acceptable they don’t even realize they’re doing it- but no one cares.
I am a mutt, I am a chinky, and other monikers. I am never going to be respected spiritually because my religion is not white. My spirituality will always be “invalid”, or less than, or myth. It does not deserve respect. I do not deserve respect. That is all I hear when I see “spiritual plurality will never be a real thing”.
I’m not saying you have to share my beliefs, but respect would be nice. Instead you parrot the same racism i hear from bigots you claim to hate. You are the racist, the colorist, the nationalist. Your hatred is the same shade as theirs. You are no better, and I am tired of trying to explain to you that bigotry is the same no matter how righteous it feels to you.
But it won’t change. Today I am tired. I will be tired again tomorrow.

oh also? An absolutely freaky thing I'm seeing yt leftists do?
STOP TRYING TO TRACK DOWN PROTESTORS THAT DO 'BADASS STUFF'. STOP POSTING ABOUT IT ONLINE.
PEOPLE FUCKING DIE.
AND IT'S USUALLY SOMEONE MELANATED.
THE GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU FUCKING DUMBASS.
y'all are so stuck on egoistic heroism that every time someone does something 'sick' at a protest you wanna turn them in to the next celebrity to have a parasocial relationship with and then they go missing.
Tf is wrong w y'all.

Intersex people are continuously harmed, killed, objectified, used, and reduced to nothing more than a hypothetical or statistical anomaly, something to be violated and then discarded. Supposedly, at best, we can expect to be treated as something a little less than human. Often, we are put far below that.
Fuck that. We deserve so, so much better than that.
Intersex people have always, always, always existed, and we will always, always, always fight to exist and breathe in the world, present and future. We will create a path forward for ourselves, no matter what. We will live to hug, scream, kiss, laugh, cry, run, and be free. Dressed in flowing yellow and purple, we will be loud, passionate, and whole.
I need to see a future where intersex kids are celebrated. I need to see a future where intersex bodies are made divine. I need to see a future where intersex voices are glorious music, blasted on every speaker for all to hear.
No longer beaten into invisibility, no longer made small behind closed doors, surgical tools, and shame-ridden conversations. We will be open, joyous, and so, so loved.
I do not wish to assimilate, to be seen as "just like everyone else"; my soul yearns for so much more.
When I dream of an intersex future, when I participate in being one of a countless number working towards its creation, there is nothing neutral about it; It must be, by necessity, an act of resistance, an act of community, an act of care for each other and ourselves.
I need to see a future where the wonder and beauty of intersexuality is celebrated in everything.
If you are intersex, know that you bring so much to this world, so much more than you know. Keep going, keep pushing forward, keep uplifting your community and keep being yourself. You are so, so important.
We will continue to live on, now and always.
💛💜

From A tehrani resident who barely got out let me inform you of some of the things currently going on here:
Israel bombed two of the highways leading out of tehran, both are blocked now. The remaining highways had heavy traffic until few hours ago. After israel bombed every oil tanks and refineries around tehran, a shortage of petrol happened. Now most petrol stations are out of work and if you're lucky enough to find one that's still operating, you have to stay in hours long lines in hopes of getting max 15 liters of petrol. So even with a car, it's not guaranteed you can get very far from the city.
There's also the matter of where to go and stay. The bank system is half working, no cash available at the time. And you can't exactly sleep in the deserts around the city. Most people still stuck in tehran don't have anywhere to go and they don't have the money to afford relocating themselves (it's always the lower class that gets the worst hits)
All of these are beside the fact that most people can't leave the city under any circumstance. They have chronic illnesses, they have sick family members who needs care, they work as emergency workers and can't leave their lines of duty.
But these mfs don't care about human life getting destroyed. It's just numbers to them, expendables. Our own government has abandoned people to die horrible deaths, they never cared and they don't care now. People of iran are worth nothing to nobody. It's Gaza all over again.
I have family and friends still in tehran who can't leave. I'm bracing myself for the worst case scenario. I hope all those who start war, add fuel to the flames of war, encourage it and cheer for it, burn and rot in hell. I don't really believe in hell and afterlife, but I hope it's all real just to see these people get what they deserve

Do you know what pisses me off? Perisex people trying to justify their continued use of a slur by pointing at intersex people who agree — more likely than not because they are ignorant of their history.
The only intersex people I've ever met who support the use of the word hermaphrodite in zoology, are intersex people who didn't know why hermaphrodite is used in zoology.
We're often ignorant of our history due to very purposeful systemic and systematic erasure via violence.
If you're calling on your token intersex friend to back you up on calling your fursona a herm, you're more likely than not taking advantage of their ignorance. Ignorance that is directly born out of our violent suppression. Good job.

It doesn’t matter if you have a disability, or even just your human body doesn’t match up with your other one
You can be a hawk with glasses
You can be a hare with hearing aids
You can be a dog with bad smell (I’m this one)
You can be a cheetah in a wheelchair
You can be a snow leopard who can’t stand the cold
You can be a desert scorpion that can’t stand the heat
You can be a bee with pollen allergies
You can be an anteater with a fear of bugs
You can be a moth that doesn’t like lights
It doesn’t matter what you identify as, you’re valid

maybe an unpopular opinion but i don’t think we should be caring about detransitoners aww poor baby cis wombyn had one t vile and it ruined your life forever poor you I don’t give two shits trans men literally kill themselves due to not getting access to medical care and all because there’s a small chance a cis woman could access it and regret it a cis woman it’s being made harder and harder because cis people can’t handle the idea that a conventionally attractive white cis woman has top surgery and regrets it
