I was signing up for the beta-reading and on strenghts for beta-readers you wrote that we can select multiple, however it only selects one of the options. I was wondering if it was an issue with just me or if you had perhaps forgotten to activate the multi choice selection. Thank you for your help.

Hello this is my first time doing a bang event and I was curious how do u know if you've been accepted or not? I saw the discord link at the end of the submit form and was wondering if we're allowed to join it before knowing if we've been accepted?

If you've filled out the form and joined the discord, then you've been accepted. We're a newer event, as this is only our second year. We currently accept everyone, and I don't believe we have any plans for that to change :)

If they so wish, will a participating writer/artist submit more than one piece? Like, could a writer submit 2 or more stories or an artist submit 2 or more art pieces? If so, what's the limit (if any) on the number of submissions any one person can make?

We are currently limiting writers to one piece for the event. There is no limit to the word count, and last year we had a very ambitious writer team write a fic for the Bang that was over 100k. Artists are not limited to one piece. Last year we had some artists take on multiple fics and some artists made multiple pieces for the fic they'd claimed. We just ask that artists to make at least one piece for each fic they claim.

What happens if I sign up but then don't finish my fic by posting week? Would it be better to not sign up if I don't think I can do that?

While we would be happy to have you, it would probably be best if you didn't sign up with that idea if you knew ahead of time there was a very high chance you couldn't finish on time. It would only cause undue stress on you, and your potential artist or beta, and none of you deserve that. Please think of your needs first and foremost.

It may be best to choose another idea, or shorten the idea to be more manageable. The fic you work on for the Bang should be completed by the end of the event, but after the event you are welcome to create a sequel or make a series to continue if you choose.

I participated as a writer last year, and I'm so excited to join in again this year! It was a lot of fun last year, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with😁

I've never participated in a bang before, so I have a few questions. Are you going to post a link to sign up on May 30th? Are there guidelines on what writers can write? Will the stories be based off of a list of prompts? Are there restrictions on how many people can sign up? Sorry for the rush of questions, this is just something I'd really like to take part in

Yes, we will be posting the link for sign ups that day. There will be some guidelines that will be shared with everyone. The main guideline is the word count minimum.

The stories are based on whatever you want, we won't be providing any prompts. There are no restrictions either, anyone can sign up!
