While battling anemia, I spent 300+ hours playing KCD 1 & 2 and OMG I AM IMMEDIATELY OBSESSED 😍🥹 I love these boys so much 😭😭😭

One day I want to finish these properly, but I started designing some Hansry and Jamuel charms that I may or may not get made 🫣 idk, I don’t know what I’m doing~~~

Omg it’s been a while :0 here, have some doodles of 17th century French gentlemen - featuring Chevalier from the Versailles series in marker 😍

I’ve been dealing with some health problems that have now been resolved with surgery. I’ll put some details under the cut as it’s something people don’t talk enough about but I know some people might not wanna read about it 😅

But I’m back! I have energy for art again - I’ve got more sketches, but they’re all KCD2 related so they’ll get their own post.

MAN IT FEELS GOOD TO DO ART AGAIN.

So for the past 6 months (probably longer though) I’ve been battling anemia caused by a big ass uterine fibroid. It was huge - I looked permanently 5 months pregnant. It caused me to bleed an insane amount of blood every month.

It was awful. I bled so much I would get nauseous, I stopped being able to exercise, I took multi-hour naps in the middle of the day.

At first I had all these options to shrink it, but 1 doctor out of 5 that looked over my MRI had concerns about possible malignancy (don’t worry, it was 💯 benign), so removal was my only option.

After a hysterectomy that included the removal of an almost 2 lbs tumour, I feel the best I have in years. I’m still working on getting my strength back, but I’m no longer losing hemoglobin at a rate my body can’t replace, I can take an entire lung full of breath, but most importantly I DON’T HAVE TO PEE EVERY HOUR.

I have no regrets. The hysterectomy was the best choice in my case, that fibroid was enormous and if I had the option to shrink it by 50%, it would still have been enormous.

I guess the point of me sharing this is if this happens to you and you also need a hysterectomy, you’re going to feel so much better. I read a lot online about what to expect and I was really REALLY depressed and scared for months waiting for my surgery date. I couldn’t have predicted how amazing I’d feel after healing. I have no regrets 🙂

Started YET ANOTHER Sambastian WIP 😂😭 I wanted to do something quick and sweet for Valentine’s Day but then it got away from me 🫠

It’s been a bit stressful lately and these two dorks are 💯 my comfort couple and helping me get through it 🥹
