Haven’t seen you on deviantart for quite a while (2023 as a matter of fact) is everything okay over there?
Eh, things are okay yeah, I just have had little to no motivation to post over there.
There’s basically no regulation on AI art, I haven’t been getting much interaction, and bots are running rampant. I swear I’ve never once gotten a dm from an actual human being on deviantart ever since they implemented that messaging system. Every single one is one of those scam bots saying they want to use your art in a mural or something and would like to pay you with Totally Real Money
From a social standpoint, a lot of artists I used to follow on there have moved onto other sites, so I also don’t have much of a reason to log in and look at new art posts, bc all my favs have moved elsewhere.
That and I’m still just deeply, deeply bitter over how the staff asked us for feedback on eclipse, and then proceeded to completely and entirely ignore every single bit of constructive feedback their userbase gave them. As far as I can tell, nothing that anyone has asked for has been implemented. I truly wouldn’t be shocked if the entire team was replaced by bots, that’s how disconnected they’ve become to the DA community.
