I feel like politicians' insults about each other have really gone down hill. These days it's all "moron" and "loser", so childish. Think what you will of Paul Keating, but he gave us such gems as "he's a shiver waiting for a spine", "debating him is like being flogged with warm lettuce", "he's like a lizard on a rock: alive but looking dead", "he's all tip and no iceberg".

Did each of them go to a different boarding school? Or was it split between revington and biffmore? What are the other majors at each? What did each brother major in? What is Maxwell's actual technical major because it cannot be rowdiness? How was standing as a major supposed to help solve the families financial difficulties?

Monty making the decision to start the fight and putting down an enemy immediately with no mercy and then using one of the ship's gun to shoot at the enemies on deck while hanging off the ship.

Maxwell getting so into the battle frenzy he started jumping on a flying ship and threw the fucking pilot down after one punching a huge mech dude off the Zephyr.

Daisuke immediately pointing his gun at the main bad guy and going from pistol to shotgun to blast off his enemies mercilessly

Van bloody and barely standing punching her way through enemies so she can stay at Marya's side and protect her Captain from attacks while she pilots the ship (they are exes i fear)

Olethra sneaking around and finding the important information that was hidden and then ending up in her mech and pulling the final shove, ending the battle. (It felt like the perfect choice character wise ngl. Like ofc she is not gonna immediately think of jumping in the mech. And she is so young and inexperienced, she is just a baby!)

And Marya my beloved, having to handle her first battle as a pilot after a traumatic experience that left her exiled from the sky. Ramming the ship into the enemy and then destroying them with her shotgun and using a fucking hammer to beat another. I am obsessed with her.

This was such a fun battle. Fighting on a ship makes thing so dynamic and whenever there is the chance to throw people off the fun grows.

Using the snacks as a way to heal up in small doses is also a lot of fun. I do wonder which character or mechanic they will use when it comes to bring people back up. Brennan nicely let Van not go down in this first fight thanks to the second wind so I am very curious abt that and maybe kinda nervous too
