Birthday Party
Happy Birthday @bowser14456!!!!!
You said you like Marichat, right? This isn’t much, but I hope you like it!
Chat landed on the railing around the balcony carefully, stepping down to the flat roof with a muffled thump. He resettled the bag he carried on his hip as he walked to the open skylight, then crouched next to it and rapped on the glass with his knuckles.
“Marinette, are you there?”
He heard a light musical laugh from inside and started to grin, even before he heard her muffled yell to come in already. He sat on the edge and peered down, judging angles before grabbing the edge of the opening and swinging himself down, feet neatly avoiding her bedspread to land on the top of her stairs.
“So you said you wanted to see… me…”
He trailed off half way down the steps, eyes wide in shock as he took in the decorations set up around her bedroom.
There was a small table in the centre of the room covered in a brightly coloured dinosaur tablecloth. Two fold out chairs were next to it with cut outs of pirate ships and jolly rogers attached to the back rests. He could see paper plates and cups with pictures of circus tents and animals set up in front of the chairs. And there was a pile of unopened streamers on top of a large bakery box in the middle of the table, surrounded by smaller covered trays that smelled wonderful. He looked up from the table to question Marinette, only for his eyes to snag on the space behind her, where she’d hung a large hand decorated banner proclaiming “Bon Anniversaire!” in colourful felt letters, surrounded by black cat faces with green eyes and chubby ladybugs, from the edge of her bed platform.
“Marinette, what?” he started to ask, walking the rest of the way to the floor as his eyes danced over the set up then down to her, who was smiling shyly as she blushed and clutched at her arm.
“I know it’s a few days early, but I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you. Your hero birthday I mean. Stoneheart happened almost exactly a year ago, so you as Chat are now one year old, and so I thought this might be appropriate...” She let go of her arm to wave her hand back toward her wall, and he followed the gesture to see a picture of a donkey with its tail stuck between its eyes, along with several balloons and what looked like a very colourful and frilly llama.
He turned back to stare at her, mouth working without sound as he tried to process what she’d said.
“You, you’re throwing me a birthday party?” he finally whispered. “You’re, you’re throwing me a first birthday party with dinosaurs and pirates and circuses and, and…”
He dropped the bag he was holding as he took a giant step forward and wrapped Marinette up in his arms. She squeaked as he picked her up and spun her, laughing happily and pretending he didn’t feel the prickly feeling in the back of his eyes. He put her back down but kept his arms around her, holding up still as she staggered slightly, then moved his hands to her waist as he rested his forehead on hers.
“Thank you Marinette. I’ll admit I suspected something when My Lady told me to come here before she meets up with me later, but I never expected all of this. This is, this is more than I ever could have hoped for.”
Her hands worked their way up his front and found their way into his hair, scratching the base of his cat ears lightly as she smiled warmly at him, the slightest of blushes staining her nose and cheeks.
“Silly kitty. I’m almost scared to give you your presents if this was more than you’d hoped, I don’t want to break you.”
He felt his ears flick against her hands as he perked up, blinking at her in wonder.
“Presents? You got me presents?”
“Of course I did. What kind of birthday party would this be without presents?”
She let go of his ears and stepped back, grabbing his hand when he let go of her in turn and she lead him to one of the chairs. She pulled it out for him and waved at him to sit down, then moved the paper plate and cup out of his place setting before she walked to her desk and picked up two packages. A small jewellery box sized one wrapped in ladybug print paper, and a larger one needing both her hands wrapped in pink. She set them both on the table in front of him, then stepped back and started to play with her fingers.
“The big one’s from me, and the other is from Ladybug. She didn’t want to try and carry it over rooftops to see you later. But she has another present for you, that she’s still working on setting up. Oh, but maybe you don’t want to open them yet because you want to eat first! I’m sorry, here, let me put them back on the desk and we can-”
“No!” he yelped, flinging himself forward and laying across the top of them, his arms landing on top of the box and sending the streamers rolling off the edge and unravelling onto the floor. “Presents are good! I want to open them now!”
Marinette froze, hands hovering in the air between them, but then started to giggle. The giggles worked their way up to full on laughter, and she lifted her hands to her mouth to try and stifle the sound as he saw he eyes start to water, and Chat felt some of his panic start to ebb away at how happy and relaxed she sounded.
“Ok, ok that’s fine,” she finally calmed down enough to get out, wiping at her cheeks. “Go ahead and open them then.”
He stayed laying on them until she’d moved round the table, sitting at the other chair and resting her chin in her palms as she continued to chuckle. He slowly pulled back, shifting the gifts closer to the edge and playfully glaring at her, sparking an eye roll. He looked between the two, then carefully set the small box aside and started searching for the seam on the big one. It took a moment, Marinette’s wrapping was as professional as everything she did, but then he’d found it and slid a claw under the tape and peeled the paper back.
His mouth dropped open as he stared at the rectangular black cushion covered in embroidery. A loopy “Pawsitively Purrfect” in a shade of green that matched his eyes was surrounded by small and large paw prints in multiple softer shades of green. It was beautiful and amazing and heartfelt and handmade just for him and he sniffed as the prickle started up again.
A soft hiss across the table distracted him from the delicately stitched toe beans of one of the paws, and he glanced up to see Marinette carefully pouring something bubbly into one of the cups, her attention completely focused in an overly exaggerated way, and he snorted in amusement at her consideration for him. He twisted in the seat to carefully set the cushion behind him on the chaise, then moved Ladybug’s gift to the space in front of him.
Same style of wrapping, and he idly wondered for a moment if Marinette had wrapped it on Ladybug’s behalf as he flattened the paper against the table and flipped the lid of the small box open, but then his brain ground to a halt as he saw what lay inside.
A black leather bracelet, that looked almost exactly like his belt tail. With a small gold bell and a name tag hanging off the buckle fastening. Fingers shaking, he picked it up to see it better. On one side of the tag was a plain stamped “C.N.”, and the other was a tiny, delicately engraved ladybug.
He traced a claw across the picture in awe because this, this almost looked like a collar. And Ladybug had made a joke recently about him finding a forever home soon. Maybe, maybe she was saying that she would be…
A cup moved into his vision next to his hand and he startled, looking up to find Marinette watching him fondly, leaning her chin on her palm again as she drew her hand back.
“Do you like it?”
“I… I…” he tried, blinking his blurry eyes. “I love it. I love the cushion, I can see you put a lot of effort into it and it must have taken you forever and I-”
“Hush Chat, don’t worry about that part. You are more than worth it, and I’m just happy you like it.” She smiled at him, warm and soft and her eyes were filled with kindness and something he couldn’t quite name, but then they dropped to his new bracelet and her smile changed subtly, and he wasn’t sure he would have caught it if he hadn’t been watching her. But then she was shaking her head, and smiling mischievously, and placed her hands on either side of the large box in the middle of the table.
“So, are you ready for your cake now?”
He perked up, and opened his mouth to say yes, but yelped instead.
“No! We’re missing something!”
He ignored her spluttered questions as he got up from the table, carefully leaving his new collar-bracelet on top of his new cushion, before scooping up the bag he’s brought with him. He looked inside as he dug around, and smiled widely as he pulled two cocktail umbrellas, which he carefully opened and dropped one each in his and Marinette’s cups, to her scoffed amusement, then he dug in again to pull three party hats, decorated with his and Ladybug’s smiling faces.
Marinette groaned, but allowed him to sit the hat on top of her head, and then she watched him with an air of resignation as he perched the other on his. He set the third on the side of the table, and shrugged when he saw Marinette eye it.
“Just in case Mi’Lady makes it before it’s time for me to leave.”
“Ah, yes. She’s, she’s working herself up for a surprise for you. So she might be here before you leave or, or she might not.”
Chat shrugged, unbothered. His Lady cared enough about him to arrange for him to have time with Marinette, and arrange all of this with her, and to then leave a present here for him and make sure he knew to visit. Knowing she cared was enough for him for today, when he hadn’t expected anything at all.
“Ok,” he nodded, feeling the hat shift between his ears. “Now I’m ready for cake!”

Ladrien June - Dinner
“Adrien. What is that?”
He looked up at Ladybug through his hair guiltily, his cheeks starting to burn.
“My dinner?”
Ladybug pursed her lips, eyes moving rapidly over the contents of his bowl, and then the things spread over the table.
“Banana splits are not dinner food Adrien. You need something healthy and filling.”
He sighed. He knew that, he really did. But he’d been so excited to choose his own food for once. He reached out to start clearing up when she caught his hand. He blinked at her, startled.
“But they’re fine for dessert,” she said, eyes sparkling.

Ladrien June - Meeting Gabriel
Ladybug smiled brightly as she pulled Adrien closer against her. He relaxed minutely as she stroked her fingers in patterns along his side, his hand on her shoulder squeezing slightly before his thumb started rubbing small circles.
Meeting Gabriel Agreste had been a dream of hers once. But it had faded away after getting to know his son better. But she could do this. It was what Adrien wanted.
“Mr Agreste, it’s no nice to meet you like this! Adrien has told me so much about you, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know my boyfriend's family better.”

Ladrien June - Valentine
“You have work every day till Valentine’s?”
Adrien nodded, staring at the ground as he kicked at it listlessly.
“Yeah. My Father thinks it’ll be safer for me to be in a studio somewhere where all my fans can’t get at me and bombard me with presents. I was hoping I’d be able to sneak out and buy you something nice, but it isn’t looking likely. I’m sorry.”
Gentle fingers caught his chin and lifted his face to meet hers.
“I don’t need a Valentine gift Adrien,” she whispered as she slowly closed the distance between their lips. “Just you.”

Ladrien June - Fencing
Ladybug lay on the roof, legs kicking in the air idly behind her as she watched the fencing lesson in the courtyard below. Adrien had just finished his bout with Kagami, and was by one of the benches, helmet off and drinking water as the next pair got set up
She hummed happily as he lowered the bottle and wiped his lips, remembering how soft they’d been when he’d kissed her the other day. Hopefully they’d be able to sneak a few moments together again soon she thought, as he finally noticed her and blushed her favourite shade of pink.

Ladrien June - Damsel
Ladybug bit her lip as she swung them away from the school, politely ignoring the burning blush that had taken over Adrien’s face.
“I know you like me to rescue you, but you’ve taken the damsel in distress thing a bit far this time, don’t you think?”
“It’s for my class play, I swear!”
“Oh I believe you Adrien, I know you’d never wear that by choice.”
He huffed, slapping a hand down to try and hold his skirt in place as it started to flap up again.
“Exactly! It’s doing  nothing for my eyes, and the stitching is terrible!”

Ladrien June - Model
“Where did you even get all these toys?”
“Don’t touch that!” Adrien yelped, taking a step towards her while her finger hovered over the ‘Lucky Charm’ model with the yo-yo balanced above her head.
“They’re not toys, that one’s a limited edition model, and all the others on that shelf are poseable action figures. They’re collectables!”
Ladybug nodded, pulling her finger back even as it continued to follow details on the suit. She walked along the shelf, finger still out, until she stopped by the pile of beanbag heroes piled up at the end.
“Ok, fine, those ones are toys.”

Hi, yes, so um... any chance you would consider writing more of Surprise? Just because it’s amazing. And I would very much like to see a reveal? And then Alya and Nino finding out and just fluff... Thank you very much!
Yes! I'm planning at least one more bit, don't worry
I've got ideas for how I'd like several of the "reveals" to go already, and various people's reactions. Or lack thereof ^_~

Surprise? part 2
So you know how I said that Ladrien accidental pregnancy thing I did was a one shot? Yeah.... Have a mostly fluffy follow up conversation to it! which completely changed from what I said I wanted to do shhh don’t look at me like that
Huge thanks to @tbehartoo for all the help <3
Part 1
-~-
Ladybug felt a wave of relief flow through her, and couldn't stop the small laugh that bubbled up as she finally felt herself start to smile. She reached up to hold his wrists while he still held her face, and he was smiling back at her as they both took a moment to bask in the new connection between them.
When he started to pull back she tried to quickly scrub her damp cheeks dry, only for him to catch her hands and hold them gently in one of his as he wiped the tear trails away himself. She couldn’t help but laugh again, and shake him off to gently run her thumbs under his own shining eyes instead.
“So, how’re you feeling?” has asked quietly when they had both stopped drying tears. “Do you need anything?”
“Well, I could do with a hug if you don’t mi-”
She didn’t manage to finish her sentence before he started to scoot back on his bed to sit against the wall, holding his hands out wide and wiggling his fingers in a ‘come here’ gesture. She giggled, sounding almost normal she was proud to note, and climbed over to sit across his lap, resting her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arms tightly around her and kissed her hair.
“I will never say no to hugging you. Especially not now.”
She sighed softly, snuggling her head against his neck and closing her eyes, wriggling to get one hand snaked around his back and the other up to grip the t-shirt at his free shoulder.
“Thank you Adrien. You really are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
“And you to me. Now. Tell me honestly, are you ok? I know what you’re like, and I’m having trouble believing you’re as calm you’re acting right now.”
She choked down a laugh that wanted to be a sob. He knew her far too well.
“Honestly? I’m a bit better now I’ve told you, sort of. I was more afraid of how you might react than the actually being pregnant part. I mean, you’re only twenty Adrien. This is a major change to your life, and I know you just said you want this but I really will understand if-”
Fingers found her lips and gently pinched them shut.
“And you can’t be much older than me, if not the same or younger. And, actually, are you sure you want to…” he trailed off, and she pushed herself up from him so quickly his head bounced off the wall and she untangled her arms from around him to hold his face between her hands, staring desperately into his eyes and willing him to believe her.
“Yes! Don’t ever think I don’t want this with you, or I’m not perfectly happy to have your baby! I know I’ve not mentioned it before, but I’ve been imagining our lives together for as long as I’ve known you. And it’s always been you, me, a hamster, and three children. So this is a start towards my dream.”
He stared at her, mouth hanging open slightly, before it shifted back into a sappy grin, his eyes misting over again.
“Make that two hamsters then. Because my dream was always you and me and a hamster on a tropical island somewhere. But I’ll trade that island for children with you.”
She laughed, running her hands over his face and leaning in to kiss him, softly at first then harder as he wrapped his arms back around her. They were panting when she finally pulled back, and she couldn’t stop the giggle that bubbled up inside her, answered by his low chuckle.
“So. Do our children have names?”
“Hmm?”
“You said your dream was three children. I want to know if they have names.”
“Oh. Erm, Emma, Louis, and Hugo. But that’s just what I picked years ago, I mean if you don’t like them or want something diff-”
She was cut off with a kiss again, soft and gentle and she could feel the love radiating from him through it. Her fingers started to move through his hair, slowly and gently and just enjoying the care and calm that surrounded her. She pulled back before they could get distracted again, since there were still things to talk about.
Adrien pouted but let her, seeming to understand what she intended. It was one of the things she loved about him. He knew her so well, sometimes knowing what she wanted or would do before she’d realised herself. He dropped his hands to her hips and started drawing loopy relaxing patterns, and she settled her head back against him.
“I really want to go back to those plans of yours later, but for now tell me everything. You’re, what, just over four weeks?”
“Mmmm,” she hummed, kissing his neck softly. “Four and a half weeks, yes, since that’s when we, yeah.” She paused while he snickered, and she felt the blush start to form. She knew she should be able to talk about things like this, especially now, but there was a big difference between talking and doing in her mind.
“Or I might be six. I need to talk to the doctor, since pregnancy is normally counted from the start of the last period, but we know exactly when it would have happened so I’m not sure how it works. But anyway, according to the internet baby is about the size of a poppy seed right now, or a sweet pea. I’ve been getting cramping, which I’d thought was my period being late but is apparently baby, and I don’t think I’ve started with mood swings yet, but I’m not sure my roommate would agree given how she’s been acting with me the last few days.”
He laughed, and the way his whole body shook made her grin.
“I’m going to be getting tired, and cranky, so I apologise now if I get mean with you at all.”
He laughed again, lifting a hand to stroke gently through her hair as his other stroked along her back.
“I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to be cranky. For at least, oh I don’t know, nine months maybe?”
She snorted, tilting her head up so she could kiss his jaw, then his lips as he bent down to meet her.
“Dork,” she muttered playfully, grinning up at him when they parted, before snuggling again. She stayed there, happy to just be with him and enjoy the moment. She hadn’t stopped thinking of worst case scenarios since she’d done the test yesterday, and all the different ways this could have gone badly were still haunting her thoughts even after his reassurances. Because there were still ways this could go wrong, with the things left to discuss.
“Do you want the websites I was looking at yesterday by the way? There’s a chart to show you how big the baby is at each week, and what sort of effect it’s going to be having on me.”
“Yeah actually, that’d be great,” he said, reaching around her for his laptop at the end of the bed. “I mean, I was going to start looking things up as soon as you’d gone so I can figure out how to help you best, and if I need to buy anything, so having that to start from would be nice.”
She pulled away from him, ignoring his pout so she could grab his face and squeeze his cheeks gently between her hands
“Adrien Agreste, you are not to go mad and start buying stuff. I am telling you now, no. How would you explain a load of baby things showing up in the post to Nino and Alya anyway? They don’t even know you’re dating! Besides, the first ten to twelve weeks are the most dangerous, so you have to wait till after that and me telling you who I am at least.”
“Ten to twelve weeks? You want me to wait…”  he trailed off, eyes wide with shock and hope, before continuing in an awed whisper. “You’re going to tell me who you are?”
She bit her lip, then nodded hesitantly.
“Yes. I, I need to tell Chat Noir first, because he’s been my partner for five years and I’ve always promised him that if I had any choice about  it I’d tell him first. Which is the only reason I’m not telling you right now. But I want to tell you, soon, so you, we can start telling people that are important to us. But I promise, as soon as he knows, you will too.”
Of all the reactions she expected from him, bursting into laughter wasn’t one of them. He dropped his head to her shoulder and she couldn’t tell if he was laughing or crying as his shoulder started to shake, even as she reached to wrap her arms around him. Stress could make people act strangely sometimes she supposed, and she had just dropped a lot on him all at once. When he calmed down and leaned back against the wall, he was grinning widely as he rubbed at his watery eyes.
“Sorry, sorry. I just, yeah. Sorry.” He cleared his throat and rolled his neck, and his smile became something more sheepish, and she was immediately on alert.
“And, erm, my friends already kinda think I’m dating someone, so it won’t be as big a problem as it could be?”
“Oh?” she asked, keeping her tone even while her stomach flipped.
“Yeah. See, Nino has been making jokes lately, about how I’m secretly dating someone, and he then starts talking about our friend Marinette? You remember her, right? Well he keeps saying things about how we always disappear at the same time, and come back all out of breath. And points out how we always end up sharing a sofa when we all watch movies and she really likes to cuddle so I’ve been letting her, and I think he’s heard you here a few times and thought it was her, and then he found a receipt once for flowers I’d bought you which are also her favourites. So Nino has been saying about how he gets it, he understands why we just haven’t told anyone because we don’t want to deal with the hassle of the press and all that. So… so we can always fall back on that if we need to?”
Her heart stopped for a beat while she tried to process what he was saying, and her face must have changed somehow because he rushed on.
“Not that I’m dating her! That I’m dating I mean. Because I promise, there is nothing like that between me and Marinette. You’re the only person for me Lovebug. And I’ve let them make jokes because it was easier than fighting them but I can start shutting them down and talking about you being someone else now so it won’t be such a shoc-”
She pressed a finger to hips lips gently, stopping his babble as her mind raced. She’d stopped denying Alya’s jokes about her having a secret boyfriend, who she kept sneaking away to see during Akuma attacks, years ago. And then had jokingly agreed and moved the conversation on when Alya had started suggesting that she’d finally gotten with Adrien when she had started dating him. But to realise that was now all working to her advantage was, well, a miraculous stroke of luck.
“I know Adrien, Marinette is just a friend,” she said dryly, enjoying his pout at the long standing joke. “Don’t change how you are with your friends just now. Try to keep acting the same, so you don’t make them suspicious. I know what Alya is like remember, and how she is when she thinks there’s a story to uncover. And we can work out the details when you, you and Chat, know.”
“Ah. Yes. When, I mean, what are you going to tell Chat?”
She sighed, having expected him to ask, but still not sure what to say. Which was why she’d avoided it.
“I’m not sure? I only just found out yesterday, and it’s still sinking in, so I’ve not thought of how yet. Say,” she said, sliding her hands from her lap to his shoulder and meeting his curious gaze.
“If you were Chat Noir, my superhero partner of five years, who was madly in love with me until I got a super-hot boyfriend, how would you want me to tell you that I was pregnant with said boyfriend’s kid?”
She watched, fascinated, as his face cycled through in a mixture of amused, embarrassed, proud, thoughtful, and smug.
“Super-hot, huh? Heh. Ahem. I guess I’d want you to let me know as soon as possible, so I could make sure I can protect you better and you don’t get hurt more than needed?”
“That’s when, Adrien, not how.”
“Right, right. Er. Maybe on patrol? You’re meeting him on Thursday, right? So maybe near the end, you stop him on a roof away from everything and let him know that you had an awesome and fun night with your super-hot model boyfriend a few weeks ago and now-”
She grabbed his pillow and hit him over the head with it, laughing at his yelps and attempts to hide by burying his face in her neck.
“Yeah no. You know he’s super protective of me, and while he knows I'm dating someone, I don’t think things would go well if I drop it on him like that. I especially wouldn’t like your wardrobe's chances if, or rather when, he then finds out who you are.”
“Somehow I think I’ll be fine. You could just be straight with him, don’t beat around the bush. Just be 'Oh hi Chat, nice day today,'" he said in a surprisingly good impression of her voice as he pulled back from her. "'I think we should maybe swing around the Tower tonight, I'm pregnant, and then maybe drop by Alya’s and see if she has any new leads we can follow-'”
She rolled her eyes as she pushed the pillow against his face, muffling his laughter, then froze as she heard keys in the lock from the main room. She quickly climbed off him and moved towards the window.
“Sounds like Nino’s home. I’ll see you later my darling sunshine boy,” she said quietly, jumping up to crouch in the open window as Adrien joined her, aware of Nino and Alya now moving around in the other room as she grabbed his shirt to pull him closer.
“Later my lovely bug,” he whispered back, kissing her softly before stepping back and letting her swing away.

Ladrien June - Couple
"So how long do we have today?"
"Hmm," Adrien hummed, wrapping his arms around her shoulders as she wrapped one of hers around his waist, taking the opportunity to kiss her cheek when she looked up to plan their route. "Couple of hours? Maybe three if Nino will cover for me again."
He knew she'd latched onto something when she suddenly turned and faced him, filling his vision with sparkling blue eyes and a playful smirk. She leaned towards him, brushing their noses, and he gulped as she whispered against his lips.
"Then let’s make the most of it, hmm?"

Ladrien June - Famous
“So which of Paris’s landmarks do I get to see from a new angle today my darling bug?”
Ladybug snorted as she wrapped her arm around Adrien’s waist, tamping down the giddy excitement that she was allowed to do that now, and started to swing her yo-yo.
“I hadn’t decided yet, but I was thinking of stopping and checking out the new Gabriel billboards on the way. They got this famous model to take part and he really is quite handsome you know.”
Adrien’s bark of laughter as she sent them airborne was the most magical sound she’d ever heard.

Ladrien June - Kiss
Drabbles again! Because I like drabbles and my brain can’t handle anything bigger right now <_<;;;
Can’t promise to hit them all, but I’ll try my best!
-~-
Ladybug gave a final glance at the giant red KISS scribbled on the piece of paper in her hand before jamming it inside her yo-yo’s pocket dimension. Simple. She could do simple.
She leaned back against the wall of the alley and closed her eyes as she practiced her planned words one last time.
“Hi Adrien. I know you just finished fencing but would you like to get some ice cream with me? No, wait, what was I thinking? That’s too simple, and he’ll be tired. I should go before he comes out and-”
“Er, actually Ladybug? I’d love to.”

Surprise?
@lnc2 was talking about Ladrien scenarios recently, which has spawned this. I hope this was the sort of thing you wanted?
Behind a cut because I know accidental pregnancy can upset some people. (unless the app decides to ignore me adding a cut, again)
So this is your warning? Possibly seems angsty at first but it’s the dorks so not?
Now with part 2!
-~-
Ladybug sat on the edge of the bed, chewing her lip and hugging herself tightly. She could see Adrien watching her, worry and confusion plain on his face, but she couldn’t make herself look at him directly.
“So, so you remember how a few weeks ago when we were trying, erm, you know. And the, er, the condom…”
“Yeah, I remember,” Adrien cut in, reaching a hand out to her and laying it gently on her arm. “You said you’re on birth control so it was fine.”
She nodded, staring at her feet as they drew patterns on his floor. She drew a long, shaky breath, then let it out all at once.
“Well apparently eating your roommates mislabelled leftovers and getting food poisoning later that day negates the pill,” she forced out, trying for light-hearted and knowing she missed it by miles.
His fingers twitched against her, and she couldn’t stop the flinch running through her body.
“What are you saying?” he whispered, and she couldn’t quite place the emotion behind the words. She shrugged a shoulder, shifting round on the bed to face him and moving back slightly, causing his hand to fall limply to the covers. She looked up, meeting his eyes for the first time since she’d dropped in to his room.
“Congratulations?”
She made herself watch as his mouth dropped open, and she could practically see the millions of thoughts racing through his head, before she closed her suddenly burning eyes and just breathed.
“I, I wanted to ask what you want to do about it.”
“What?” he said, barely more than a breath.
“I mean, it’s your child too, so I thought you should have a say in if you want to be part of their life, but I’ll understand if you don’t because I know what your father can be like and you’re young and have your life ahead of you and-”
Soft hands framed her face, holding her still as warm lips pressed desperately against her own. She kissed back, ignoring the taste of salt from her tears, until he pulled back with a small laugh, resting his forehead on hers. She blinked her eyes open, and was surprised to find his eyes wet too, and filled with joy.
“Yes. Please. Anything you want. Any way you’ll have me. Please. Just yes.”

That’s all I got. I’ve been poking at this since lnc first mentioned it, and I can’t make my brain make it longer/better. Because I’m honestly not sure where this would go next? Besides them being happy and having the kid I mean. And possibly some fluff because LB wants to keep her identity a secret still, and puts off telling anyone straight away so no one links her with Marinette, and Chat is suddenly extra super protective of her in fights, and when Marinette finally tells people Adrien is super happy and finally has someone he can let his excitement out over and gush about baby things to because he couldn’t tell anyone before and just... I don’t know how to write any of that and do it justice?

Adrinette April - Us Against The World
“This is it bug. Us against the world.”
Marinette groaned, head thumping against the tree they were behind.
“Stop being dramatic. It’s paintball, not the apocalypse.”
He glared as he waved vaguely towards the playing field.
“It might as well be! Alix and Kim have paint grenades and Nino and Alya defected ten minutes ago!”
She scowled, thinking quickly.
“Ok, fine, so things might be worse than I thought. But we do have our secret weapons.”
She pulled Plagg from her pocket by his tail, who grinned.
“Three extra wheels when we get home if Alix’s grenades all have ‘accidents’.”

Adrinette April - Bien Joue
“Bien Joue?” he asked, smiling at her as she started to gather their library books to put back. She shook her head fondly, reaching past his outstretched fist to flick his nose.
“Silly kitty,” she laughed, and left before noticing he’d frozen in his seat.
She, she couldn’t be. Could she?
It would explain why she’d taken his accidental reveal so well, and immediately relaxed around him. To the point she now bantered with him in an incredibly familiar way. And he’d always thought they looked similar…
He stood slowly, and smiled as he followed her in to the shelves.

Adrinette April - Love Rivals
Adrien was still struggling to process what Marinette had told him an hour later as he automatically posed in front of the camera, trying not to stare at her as she chatted with the designer he’d left her with after he’d suddenly dragged her along to his photoshoot.
The boy she liked, was him?
So Ladybug had constantly turned him down… for himself?
And it’d taken him so long to notice Marinette… because of Marinette?
They’d been their own love rivals. They’d made a square.
He hummed thoughtfully, a plan on how to fix this mess they’d made already forming.

Adrinette April - Adrien Dupain-Cheng
“Hey Bug?”
“Hmm?”
“I’ve been thinking.”
“Dangerous, but go on.”
He pouted at her, and she smiled sweetly back.
“I’ve been thinking,” he said again, narrowing his eyes playfully, “about possibly changing my name.”
She put down her embroidery to give him her full attention.
“Ok. What to?”
He shrugged, trying for casual. She frowned, and was about to ask more when he slid his hand down the side of the couch, then pulled it back out with a small, distinctly styled box.
“Maybe Adrien Dupain-Cheng, if you like the sound of it?” he offered, holding it out towards her.
