hi! is there any possibility to know how many votes fics got? and somthing as second or third positions? thank you, congrats on everyone who won
Yes, writers can DM the account to find out how many votes their fics got.
The reason I'm not sharing this publicly is to keep the focus of the awards on celebrating good fic, rather than numbers.

whenever I click the link to vote it says nothing is found
@llap115 was kind enough to explain that Tumblr is having an issue with redirecting users. For now the best option is to copy/paste the plain text link into your browser and navigate to the form that way. Or just wait and see if the problem gets fixed before the 10th.

Hi, thank you for your hard work organizing this award. I am trying to read as many nominated fics as I can so that I know what I vote for and by that I got to know really wonderful fics. Do I have to vote for fics in every category or can I skip a category? Bye Dramafanforever
Thank you, it's great to hear that you're enjoying the awards! The only category you have to vote in is Best Fic. All others are optional.

I know it's two votes each category, but say the same fic is in two categories can you vote for it in both categories?
Yes that's allowed. Although you're encouraged to read and vote for as many fics as possible.

I'm honestly shocked that no one recommended Evitative by Vichan for this award tho i can guess it may be because it's still not drarry per say (slowest burn ever) but i just wanted to know since I just discovered this how did you choose the nominations and what were the criteria that made them eligible for the awards? I'm honestly excited i was searching for new Drarry fics and this like a big recommendation list thank you!!
Well the awards are only for fics that were completed in 2019, so that’s probably the reason it wasn’t nominated. If you like epic slow burn you’ll find more than enough to keep you happy in the nominations list! The criteria for nominated fics was:
Final publication date in 2019.
Drarry as the main pairing.
Not written by a writer who had abstained from the awards.
Not published on LJ or Wattpad.
The nominations were chosen by anyone who wanted to nominate a fic. All the admins do is check that the fics qualify and format the list. Hopefully we’ll see you nominating next year!

Hi! I'm new to tumblr and this is a bit embarrassing, but I don't know how to vote. Is there a platform like survey monkey or would I just send you a message with my votes or something else? Thank you!
Hello! Here’s a link to the voting form. You get two votes per category and the form closes on 10th Feb. Thanks for voting!

The previous post linking to the Drarry Awards 2019 voting form appears to be broken. If you’re going to reblog please use this post. We’ve already had over 90 votes (that’s 180 votes per category!) and smashed the 2018 record!

Broken links
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to get in touch and point out broken links. Fingers-crossed that they’ve all been fixed now!

How can you exclude people's votes?? This is very unfair and not what the awards are about!
What’s “unfair” is some people having 5-6 votes per category when the rules clearly state that everyone is allowed maximum 2 votes per category and when 95% of voters are following the rules.

Excluded votes
It’s brilliant to see the enthusiasm that people have for voting in these awards but please do remember that if you vote for more than two fics in the same category your vote will be excluded.
For example: if you vote for five fics in the Best Fic 2019 category and two fics in every other category every single vote you’ve cast will be excluded.
Everyone gets two votes per category.
I’ve already excluded three people’s votes, because they voted for mulitple fics in the same category. Last year many of the second and third placed fics only had one vote between them, so if your vote is excluded it really could make a difference between whether your fave wins or not.

Note
Why aren’t the authors names/handles listed with the fic names in the voting form?
It's to encourage people to read new fic (rather than fic by authors they're already familiar with) and to reinforce the fact that the awards are about the writing, not the writers

Voting for the 2019 Drarry Awards is officially open!
The form will be open until 08:00 GMT 10th February 2020. The votes will be counted during the day and then the final vote will be announced at 20:00 GMT 10th February 2020.

1. You have maximum two votes per category.
2. If you vote for more than two fics per category your vote will be excluded.
3. Votes cannot be edited after they have been submitted.
4. If a writer contacts us during voting to say that they do not want their fic included in the awards all votes for that fic will be excluded.

Category suggestions for future Awards: 1) Best Ficlet (max 1K) and 2) Best Novel Length Fic (min 50K).
Noted.
The suggestions are nice but we’re yet to see if we’re even running another set of awards and if we were planning to do that we’re more likely to have categories that focus on themes. E.g. non-magical AU, magical realism, etc.

One of the fics nominated in the Best Fluff Fic category, One Last Dance, doesn't really seem to belong there. It includes an MCD (Draco) - even if it's not tagged as such (!) - and I can't really see how it'd fit into that category, really. (If you're aware of the MCD before reading, it's a rather decent Angst fic, though, and would better belong in that category.)
Thank you for flagging the untagged MCD, I’m sure our readers will appreciate the warning.Re. whether a fic fits in a certain category: we’ve decided to leave that up to the nominators to decide where they think a fic is best suited. This has caused some controversy in the past but it’s also opened up some interesting discussions about how fandom language changes and the different assumptions people bring to their fandom experience.
