So this is from my sketchbook that im using right now. I really want to get into human studies/anatomy, nude drawings. This is not of my genitalia thank you very much. lol. Im not showing the original source picture but if your interested. message me.

Unfortunately i never got to finish this project so i just cut out my drawings and stuck them in this sketch book. The way we did it was we were given a theme and you could do anything with it. You would make a prep sheet with designs you like such as the ones above and things you wanted to include in your final sheet. Then you would make your final sheet, including aspects of all the ideas and designs.

POST 2 OF 2 OF HOW TO DRAW A SUGAR GLIDER. 

And here is the final result, i am in love with it. Of course its not perfect but the fact that i havent drawn in several months and still could create something that actually looks like what its suppose to- im stoked. I ended up going with a foundation of water colours which i forgot to take a picture of. But i just put the base colours down and then going back over that i used colouring pencils and fine point pens. If i went back in time i think i would change how i did the hands, add more detail to the nose and fine point the branch. From this drawing i realize i need to work on drawing fur which i suck at it. 

P.S i do know that the colours i used are not the colours in the original photo but i wanted to include a fantastical element. He ended up looking like a Niffler, which i love.

POST 1 OF 2 OF HOW TO DRAW A SUGAR GLIDER STEP BY STEP. 

Materials used: A4 110GSM (I ended up using water colours so i really should have used water colour paper)

Fine point pens

Crayola colouring pencils

Any type of water colours

Step 1: Draw a circle. 

2: Add a rough shape of the head.

3: Add in ears, eyes, and an outline of nose, the noses position will change. 

4: So what ended up happening is i drew the nose too long so i had to rub that part out and redraw it. 

5: Add in some of the finer details. Such as eye highlights, and ridges on its ear. 

6: Add in the patterning of its fur and a rough positioning of its hands.

7: Draw in the hands and each claw. Draw in the branch. Make the outline of its body. 

8: Add in the final details. 

9: Now its time to decide what media you are going to use to colour it.

First step by step tutorial tomorrow

I am so excited. I stayed up all last night finishing the little sugar glider and making my step by step tutorial. It will be posted tomorrow I hope you guys love it. It would be so cool to see a creature feature on these little guys over on EMZOTICS YouTube channel. Fingers crossed. Original post can be seen on my feed and i got messaged several times asking if i will be uploading a profile pic and banner and the answer is yes. I am doing something really fun for them.
