Oh boy. I just met with David, Herr Anthroposophymeister himself. He didn't let me come to his actual class, so we met at a local health foods store. I took notes and secretly recorded, all while trying not to laugh at the Hesstard bullshit he was spewing.

This was the first lesson, so it's the very tip of the iceberg, and there's so so much more. Here's a basic summary of the incredible trove of knowledge I learned today.

Humans are absolutely and totally superior to all other animals. Other animals do not think or feel or have morals, they only have insticts. Only humans think and feel!

Darwin = lying schmuck. Rudolf Steiner = absolute mensch!

Plants have a soul but is not in this world.

Animals have a soul, but it is divided across their herd or species. A "group soul" if you may.

Humans! Now humans each have an individual soul. Therefore each human is its own species. Mhm!

There are actually 12 senses.

So obviously I did not learn much, but it's a start! What I could easily concur from the get-go is that Anthroposophy is extremely narrow-minded and hierarchical. I can't wait to hear about the more... "fun" stuff! Ooh, do I have writing material yet!

Also, David quit working at my old Waldorf school because it was too liberal for him. Which says A LOT.
