I am who I am, no approval is needed
Took me 35 years to fully understand what this sentence truly means.
Took me a lot of courage to recognize my unconscious manipulative and shapeshifting tendencies. Me, without knowing, I slowly started to merge and bend to the likes of some people in my life. The more I admired the person, the more susceptible to their criticism, and therefore, my need to be "enough" in their eyes.
The remedy was coming into the understanding that I am the best I can be here and now, that I deserve love for being exactly who I am and to be kind to the dark parts of me.
Finally, as I work on my self-esteem daily and with a lot of awareness, I started noticing that I can be myself again, including around people that are "more" than me: Older, wiser, richer, more beautiful or handsome, smarter, etc. That need to impress them or reject them (before they reject me) vanished. And all I had left, was a truly enjoyable moment with them being 100% my open and loving self!
It felt wonderful.

You CAN make things possible, don't hesitate! You'll find always a way, and remember to be open to receive help from the world. And if you are spiritual, invite spirit (the universe, god, source, higher power, etc) to support you. Help will be sent, in the form of a helping friend or stranger, an opportunity, information that you needed, etc.

The rain is with you
Is the sound of a distant thunder or the constant pitter-patter of the rain drops. It is that wrapping soothing sound that envelopes you. Can’t feel alone, is the sky talking to me.
Then you have the smell. The smell of wet dirt: earthy, fragrant, subtile. It reminds you to be here and now. To take a deep breath.
The rain is an invisible caring friend who stays with you. Enjoy it.
