I thought it was a cute idea because Konasui is 144cm and I headcanon Rikido Sato post chapter 430 as 204cm. So yeah, big height difference, not a big as Danjuro Tobita and Manami Aiba's but still. So freaking cute! Don't think I missed the tags either! I'm so flatter and I wish I had more money to spare but this was very much a "treat myself" thing that I don't want to over do on. I'll still be looking forward to whatever you have next for Kacchako though! My alternative idea that I decided to let go was Konasui giving a pat on the left side of Sato's back. Though symbolically, it felt like Sato was getting an arrow with a heart shaped arrow head through his heart when she did that. (I almost inserted a whole script of that scene for context before I decided against it to share the other ideas I had XD) I also thought it would be funny to ask to draw Bakugo in spirit as a mound of foam with very angry eyes with this reaction from Sato. Sato: D-did you just use the last of your foam on Dynamight just to spite him? You know he can kill you without his quirk, right? Kazan: I'll gladly die a martyr for my cause! Sato: What cause?! Kazan: The one that let's all of Japan know that Bakugo's weakness is bubbles that's what! Now if you excuse, I'm going to start my life in hiding as a hermit on the run now before Bakugo shakes off all the foam and regains his sweat again in a few minutes or less. She zips out of the scene leaving behind a puff of smoke.

Then I also had this exchange in mind with Sero putting things together and teasing Sato about cause I love Sero and I like that he's implied to be good friends with Sato. Sero: So big guy, I see you still like cake. Sato: Knock it off Cellophane! Though that would have be paired with Kazan in her element and using her lemony skates (that's what I'm calling her hero costume's shoes as a pun on lemniscate) to glide across a flat surface with her basically soapy shoes. She would be emitting baking soda from her finger tips so they can look like diamond dust in her element. This idea specifically would have went over budget for me, regardless of how pretty the idea sounds. So needless to say, I had a few ideas that I had trouble deciding one over the other. I'm so happy with the results though, so I have no regrets.

Made a MHA OC!

Since I'm already consumed by the Kacchako ship, I might as well go all in and create my own character for the franchise as well. I basically wanted to create a character that's the polar opposite of Bakugo that he would hate. lol I had a lot of fun making her and figuring her out as a character. Her hero name turned out to be harder to think of than expected. I wanted to make a hero name that was a pun on her surname like some hero names are. However it was so hard to to find a hero name that not only sounded like I could make a pun on her surname but is also the Romaji translation of an English word AND makes sense for her quirk. I stuck with Powder Puff because that's basically the name meaning of the kanji for Konasui and her look is inspired by the Power Puff Girls so I might as well embrace. Anyway here's some more details about my OC since I couldn't fit it in the main file. Birthplace: Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture Favorite Things: Chocolate covered cream puffs, strawberry shortcake, sherbet, boba tea, shoujo manga, anime, onsens, and botanical gardens. Age: 24 as of chapter 430-431. Given how short she is, I don't know how different her proportions would have been in high school? I don't think much would change. Though given she doesn't become a sidekick in the traditional sense (no fancy hero high school for her), I didn't really have her teen appearance in mind when creating her. Occupation: Sidekick to Wash Agency after Rikido Sato. Anyway, that's about all I can think of to talk about for this character, let me know if your curious about her in anyway. I hope to give her more outfits in the future later so I can show her out of her uniform.

I finally bit the bullet and did “Katsuki and Ochako test out if they can reenact a supernova” art inspired by this comic.

It's based on an aspect of an image of the big bang theory I saw on Wikipedia. Katsuki would be that egotistical to compare his and Ochako's combined power to the theoretical creation of the universe so it works. Lol I wanted their team name to not only represent their power but also the hope they provided for others because that’s what Ochako would want. They represent the remaining light of hope after a big explosion. However, Team Afterglow is just the shorten version of their actual team name. Since this is Katsuki, of course the team name is longer than that. The full team title for my headcanon is "Ultra Hypersonic Cosmic Afterglow" I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did making it! X3

Reaction to Advice Things Are Ad-Nice Spoilers

Okay, I should have realized they wouldn't go there because that would probably been too much of a status quo change (though would it have really been though? Come on, if Disney/Pixar movies can do it then you can too you cowards XD!) but I thought Tina was getting her period for the first time. Turns out it was just a butt zit but I'm pretty sure the fakeout was intentional on their part. Poor form Louise, Tina and me are alike. You don't not mess with us when it comes to food, especially food we specifically asked to be saved! XD I was wondering how Tina would get to be part of an advice column when I read the description for the episode. I should have known it was specifically because she was at the right place at the wrong time (or right depending on the perspective) and Mr. Frond was just done with the whole thing. Unfortunately I should have seen it coming that no one wanted to give it a try which made me really sad for Tina. It also felt a bit real for me because I definitely had a few times when I tried to put myself out there to get feedback from others only to get mostly silence. I also felt so much cringe when Louise and Linda used Tina's journal to give her advice to answer. Like, it was so public and how do you expect Tina is going to feel when her private information is out and about?! It was so amusing Bob making it clear he was not supportive in anyway of what they did and was happy to be confirmed right in his stance. lol It all worked out it in the end though I suppose. Tammy why are you like this? As a giant Zekina shipper, I was very happy for the crumbs this episode! X3 Always happy to see Zeke to be the first one to support Tina after her family. Also when Zeke said Tina was full of surprises or something like that felt like to me was basically his way of saying that she just made him like her more than he already did. XD That last part is just crazy shipper brain though. Still always cute to see Zeke be so supportive of Tina even when he didn't know he was supporting her. XD

My Kacchako Babies Have Forms!

For context I drew Shinkei at age 14 while the other two are both 6. First off I changed Zuyoboru's name to Shinkei because I grew to hate the way it flowed with the last name, Bakugo. Shinkei, it makes the reference to Izuku "extending a hand" to others more subtle but it still works. Also Shinkei could be a pun for another kanji that uses Shinkei that translates to "nerve" which fit his quirk so it all works out. Plus it uses kanji from both Best Jeanist's and Edgeshot's name as a way to honor them as thanks for keeping Bakugo alive during the final war. I also decided to make Ayase the only one with a quirk that's associated with Bakugo's and Ochako's quirk. I thought it would be more interesting for Ryochi to cause destruction while quirkless instead of a natural disaster's quirk based on the combination of Ochako's and Katsuki's quirk. Plus, it felt thematic in a "history repeating itself" way given that Inko and Hisashi Midoriya have essentially similar, less poweful version of Katsuki's and Ochako's quirk. Anyway, I don't normally draw anime so I hope you like my designs. I did my best. I had fun developing these concepts and finally giving them form. I doubt it if I'll do it for the rest of my MHA fankid concepts because I was only planning to give Kacchako special treatment. lol Edit 12/8/2024- Realized too late I somehow mistaken that "kei" kanji I used was actually the thing that Best Jeanist's name was making a homophone type pun of and not part of his actual name. Regardless, it's still works out in the end. I just thought I should be honest about that blunder after the fact. XD Edit 12/10/2024 - Changed Ayase's name to Misaka because I was bothered by the ending sounds of all the kid's name leaning to similarly and I wanted to break the mold. I also wanted to add more symbolism to her kanji. Edit 12/18/2024 - Changed Misaka's name to Tochiya because I can never make up my freaking mind! Also I saw potential for alternate kanji reading potential and wanted to pull an Izuku to Deku for Tochiya. Just something to continue my pattern of history repeating itself/karmic justice thing I'm going for with the Kacchako kids.

Edit 3/22/2025 - Changed their last names from Bakugo to Uraraka, Changed some character bio details, and Changed some features of Tochiya's face so it would make more sense.

MHA Fankid Quirk Experiments Part 3:

I did some more fankid quirk experiments for fun. Though I didn't even bother with giving them hero names or go into what I think they would look like. I mostly just wanted to get the quirk ideas out there asap. Maybe I'll edit this post later to give them hero names or describe what I think they would look like. For now, I'm content with what I have. I think I'm out of interesting quirk combo ideas for now. Izuku MidoriyaxMelissa Shield-

Hisoku (春足):

Pronouns: He/Him

Quirk: Orbital pull, this quirk gives Hisoku the ability to set his eyes on his target and set the target as his orbit and manipulate his own gravity to get to his target faster with great dexterity and precision. This quirk is a fusion between Inko Midoriya’s quirk and David Shield’s quirk.

I think while the quirk would make him run faster and jump higher, he does not get stronger. So his drawback is that he needs to be careful of what he’s setting his target on so he doesn’t get himself hurt or worse from the impact. The point of the quirk is that Hisoku is always ready to run to help those in need and catch somebody if they fall (within his weight limit).

Kani (火新):

Pronouns: She/Her

Quirk: Heroic spark, (based on a combination of Hisashi’s fire breath and Inko’s quirk) whenever Kani touches someone (or perhaps even herself), they would receive a boost of energy or confidence, making them more capable of handling challenges. This could manifest as temporary increased physical strength, mental clarity, or speed—basically becoming "fired up" to succeed. The more she has won in the past, the stronger her ability to "fire up" others, but as the stakes get higher, the effect becomes less pronounced. If she ever considers anything she did recently a loss, she’s back at square one with her quirk and needs to win more minor challenges so her quirk can help increase the odds of a battle as much as it can.

Once her quirk gets stronger, she won’t even need to touch people to give them a mental and physical boost. She can use her voice to give fired-up speeches that affect multiple people at once.

Tenya IidaxMei Hatsume-

Amami (天光):

Pronouns: She/Her

Quirk: Engine, like Tenya’s quirk, Amami has her engine quirk on the sides of her head (gives off the vibe of axolotl gills almost). However, instead of using the engine to propel herself faster, the engine acts as a generator to fuel a super-powered version of her brain. When using her quirk, her brain acts as a supercomputer and can create near-perfect predictions of potential outcomes and solutions for problems based on the information she is provided. However, since it’s based on only the information she’s received, her hypotheses aren’t 100% accurate thanks to unaccounted-for variables that could occur in her thought process.

The drawback of this is that if she uses the superpowered version of her brain too long, the engine overheats, and she gets massive headaches from dehydration. After that, she gets grouchy and doesn’t want to tell anybody anything until her headache is gone and she has something to drink something to refuel herself (grape juice, chocolate milk, or orange juice are preferable)

Tensakan (天目):

Pronouns: He/Him

Quirk: Camera, like Mei’s zoom quirk, Tensakan can “see” everything in an area within 5 kilometers. Even if he’s trapped in a concrete, empty room with no windows, Tensakan can still sense if there’s life outside his general area based on body heat. He can also project holograms of what he’s seen through his eyes like a projector. Though projections only work if he actually saw it. It doesn’t work if he only saw it through body heat when his vision was obstructed.

His other drawback is that his vision gets blurry if he uses his quirk too long and needs a mental break until his eyes clear up again. Apple juice, carrot juice, and orange juice help him refuel and get his vision back faster.

Ojiro MashiraoxToru Hagakure-

Akibi (晶尾):

Pronouns: She/Her

Quirk: Invisible tail, that’s it. The drawback is she can’t wear anything but skirts or dresses. It’s so she can properly use her quirk without being exposed and embarrassingly showing her backside. However, I suppose the other workaround Akibi could try trench coats or capes if she wants to wear pants.

Minoru MinetaxPony Tsunotori (I really, really can’t stand Mineta don’t get me wrong. I just had an idea and Pony was the best option for me to help bring that idea to life. Also, Mineta deserves a taste of his own medicine by having a daughter who’s just as perverted as he was! Karmic justice baby! Also, not for nothing, Pony is not really innocent either because she did make an insensitive comment to Shoji that aged like milk as the series continued. ((Doesn’t mean I think she deserves to be with Mineta because of it, I just think it would be funny for Mineta of all characters to call her out on her discrimination. XD)) I hate that the potential for the ship name, MinePony is so good but Mineta sucks so much. I’m doing it for the quirk idea though!)-

Nyumi (乳珠):

Pronouns: She/Her

Quirk: Bubble cannon, Nyumi’s horns look like similar to boba straws. Unlike Pony’s quirk, her horns don’t detach but her bubbly hair still does. She uses her straw-like horns as cannons to shoot her balls with more precision and force than Mineta does. When using her quirk the balls pop on impact and a sticky substance bursts out of the balls that cover more area than Mineta’s sticky balls do. However, she still can throw her balls regularly if she doesn’t need them to pop.

Neito MonomaxCamie Utsushimi (they literally never met but if she can handle Bakugo, she can handle Monoma. Plus, there’s so much quirk gene mixing potential with this pair!)

Eisha (映者)

Pronouns: They/Them

Quirk: Method Actor, with this quirk Eisha is able to copy the appearance and quirk of a person to an extent. The quirk activates when Eisha can see themself in a person and get into character before they take on the visual/audio appearance and quirk of their target. However, despite looking like the person they’re acting as, their appearance is just a projection with limited mass and it’s still them under the illusion. So even if a person touches them when they're using their quirk and it feels real, the illusion has about as much durability as Eisha does in their regular form. They can only copy one quirk at a time when they’re using their quirk, and they can only change to a different quirk once they let go of the illusion.

Even then they need time to refresh after spending so much time in character.  Like their father, Neito the quirk they copy is less powerful than the original. They can only use quirks that don’t require the years of physical training it would take to get to where the original is. The copied quirk only lasts about 5 minutes, but the illusion lasts longer as long as Eisha doesn’t break character or doesn’t take too much damage while in disguise.

These sketches made think about exactly one of the many reasons I ship these two dorks. Aside from their quirks having so much potential synergy for combo moves (https://archiveofourown.org/works/13234497 This fic explores this fact and I wish more Kacchako stories did too. I want to see Kacchako do a supernova move darn it! XD), I also feel their quirks also just work together metaphorically. Feeling of sparks and floating are both synonymous with the feelings people say happen when you're holding someone's hand, kissing, or just in love in general. Like, it hurts just how much potential symbolism this ship has! XD Also, Bakugo proudly saying their kiss was so powerful it caused a power outage is just really cute and I love it! X3

Bakugo Headcanon (My Hero Academia Season 7 and Beyond Spoilers)

This is probably more than a shower thought than anything, but since after the war, Katsuki has one of his arms injured to the point he was advised to not use that arm for his quirk unless he takes physical therapy seriously for a long time. Even then it was possible his quirk wouldn't work the same way as it used to with that arm. With that in mind, here's my headcanon. I headcanon that like Izuku, Bakugo finally uses his gosh darn legs to use his quirk to give himself a boost in the air. Uraraka and Bakugo canonically have the same designer, and she was able to get boots that give her a boost of speed in the air while her quirk is activated. So I see no reason why Bakugo can't find a way for his boots to be able to sneakily collect sweat into boot storage tanks without restricting his movements (especially after his quirk awakening). Before his quirk awakening, I understand why he didn't do that because his nitroglycerin sweat was only connected to his palms. So if he wanted such an improvement for his costume he would need to save up cannisters of his sweat to fill up hypothetical, boot, storage tanks. He would also need to think strategically about how he uses them because of it being a finite supply. It's also very gross and as a germaphobe, Katsuki would never want to do that when he could just use his freaking hands! XD After his quirk awakening though, he has no such limitations like finite, palm sweat supplies anymore, so I just feel it seems thematically fitting for him to use hypothetical, boot storage tanks now just like how earlier in the manga Izuku went from just using hands for One-For-All to using his legs to properly balance the damage he takes from the quirk. My thoughts are definitely not original since I'm sure bigger MHA fans who are smarter than me already thought this over years ago and incorporated it into fanfictions that I haven't read yet. Regardless, I'm still a person that has a right to blab to the ether, regardless of if it's an original thought or not. TLDR: Bakugo update your gosh darn boots so you don't need to use just your hands (hand) to fly and you aren't forced to use your teeth to carry people to safety! XD That's it, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because of something in the MHA lore I wasn't privy too. Just be nice about it please, I'm just a casual fan that wanted to get a shower thought/headcanon off her chest. XD

Kacchako is literally such a peak ship because what do you mean the MC's obvious love interest thinks Bakugou is funny? what do you mean someone with a personality as explosive at Bakugou's was the first to respect Ochako's abilities?? Ochako can read Bakugou like a book?? You're telling me she's the one who drew him shirtless in the fantasy AU?? They're literally the loves eating/loves cooking duo?? And he calls her pink cheeks??? THEY WERE NEXT TO EACH OTHER ON THE LAST PAGE OF THE MANGA AS ADULTS???

I Have More to Say About Kacchako That I Need to Let Out:

In one of the MHA Smash volumes they have some panels that take place around the time Bakugo was kidnapped by the League of Villains. The LoV force Bakugo to play the board game, Life to show them his deepest, dark desires. Turns out his “inner desires” were to have the most normal, domestic life. Something that amusingly contrasts his number 1 hero dream.

Even though it’s parody and shouldn’t be taken for anything canonical, this is fanfiction and I can do whatever I want. Anyway, thanks to this panel it really helps give me a road map to what I want to do for the ages of the Kacchako kids. I specifically made Ryosei and Hanahoshi twins since their names are both star themed and binary stars are a thing.

Kacchako Timeline:

Age 24 to 25:

Katsuki and Ochako are dating and eventually move in together to help financially support each other. Katsuki needs all the help he can get after *MHA Epilogue Spoilers*.

Age 28:

They will get married on July 7th. (Basing it on the fact that Ochako loves looking at the night sky and July 7th is the date for Tanabata, the Star Festival. It’s also Present Mic’s birthday and Ochako is his favorite student, so that’s a bonus.)

Have a kid April 8th the year after (conceived on July 15th because it’s funny and came into the world 5 days early).

Age 35:

They are finally financially stable enough to own a house.

Conceived fraternal twins December 27th.

Age 36:

Twins born 8 days late on October 10th.

Anyway, that's my headcanon, Kacchako timeline so far based on the panel scenes I mentioned. Hopefully, I'll be able to update the timeline more accurately to the canon material once the extra 60 pages come out in the final, canon volume. Though, I'm not holding my breath on it because the extra pages could just as likely kill any ideas I had Kacchako related in the first place. Oh well, I knew what I was getting into when I let the Kacchako crumbs consume me. Now that I figured the age range between these kids, I can now go deeper into their personalities. I’m just really attached to these fan kids and wanted to do more for their bios then just experiment with quirks.

Zuyoboru (手伸)–

Name Meaning: “Hand extending”

Age: 14

Birthday: April 8th

Pronouns: He/Him

Personality: Zuyoboru, on first impression comes off as very affable and easygoing. Deep down, he fears that none of the connections he makes are genuine and feels lonely at times. He often questions if he’s really a good person or if he’s only nice to make it easier to deal with his quirk. With how his quirk works, he sometimes tries too hard to get people to like him. That way, he only needs to rely on his own blood to help track others if they need to be found. He often has the vibe of a space cadet even in intense situations. However, when it really matters, he puts on a serious, no-nonsense persona that is determined to get a job done asap.

Ryochi (凌地)–

Name Meaning: “Surpassing the earth”

Age: 6

Birthday: October 10th

Pronouns: He/Him

Personality: If Ryochi could be described with one word it would be exhausting. He’s got the competitive nature of Katsuki but he is a lot more reckless than Katsuki ever was. Given his quirk is tied to natural disasters, it is only natural for him to forgo strategy and embrace the chaos. He can be boastful at times, such as pointing out he’s so fast he won the race of existence against his sister when they were born, much to her annoyance. He honestly doesn’t even care about being a hero, he doesn’t need labels like “hero” to do the right thing. He just loves the thrill of fighting and adventure. (think like the lyrics “It Doesn’t Matter” from the first Sonic Adventure game)

He tries to not let others pointing out how villainous/dangerous his quirk is get to him. He knows his heart and he couldn’t care less about another’s analysis of his character. Actions speak louder than words after all.

Ayase (花星)–

Name Meaning: “Blossoming star” (just a poetic way to say supernova)

Age: 6

Birthday: October 10th

Pronouns: She/Her

Personality: Unlike her twin brother, Ayase actually tries to think of plans before springing into action. However, she can be a bit ditzy at times. She tends to stay in her head too long that the plethora of ideas she could do overwhelm her and Ryochi is already doing something before she figures out what to do. It’s as if her ideas were like the night sky and the perfect one is in the constellations. Unfortunately, she was always bad at finding the constellations in the millions of stars. As much potential her quirk has in fighting, her favorite way to use is to simply make people happy with the beauty of them. Since tiny stars don’t hurt people on impact, she likes seeing the happy faces of see her lights burst around them and making them feel special cause every deserves to feel special. In a way, she’s more of an artist than a hero. Even so, she chooses to be a hero because she wants to be a light in darkness for as many people as she can like her mother was and is. Just don’t make her mad though because play with fire and you will get burned. Things get under her skin quicker compared to Zuyoboru or even Ryochi, much to her dismay. Though since she hates expressing that anger, she does her best to hold it in because the last thing she wants is to be seen as the angry sibling. Though, she can only hold that pressure in for so long until she bursts like a supernova, usually on Ryochi, who deserves it most of the time. I suppose this is a spinoff sequel to this post.
